Greenpeace Co-Founder Patrick Moore Says “Climate Change” Is False

Authored by Lee Yun-Jeong via The Epoch Times (via ZeroHedge)

Patrick Moore, one of the founders of Greenpeace, said in an email obtained by The Epoch Times that his reasons for leaving Greenpeace were very clear: “Greenpeace was ‘hijacked’ by the political left when they realized there was money and power in the environmental movement. [Left-leaning] political activists in North America and Europe changed Greenpeace from a science-based organization to a political fundraising organization,” Moore said.

Moore left Greenpeace in 1986, 15 years after he co-founded the organization.

The ‘environmental’ movement has become more of a political movement than an environmental movement,” he said. “They are primarily focused on creating narratives, stories, that are designed to instill fear and guilt into the public so the public will send them money.”

He said they mainly operate behind closed doors with other political operatives at the U.N., World Economic Forum, and so on, all of which are primarily political in nature.

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change [IPCC] is “not a science organization,” he said. “It is a political organization composed of the World Meteorological Organization and the United Nations Environment Program.

The IPCC hires scientists to provide them with ‘information’ that supports the ‘climate emergency’ narrative.

Their campaigns against fossil fuels, nuclear energy, CO2, plastic, etc., are misguided and designed to make people think the world will come to an end unless we cripple our civilization and destroy our economy. They are now a negative influence on the future of both the environment and human civilization.”

Today, the left has adopted many policies that would be very destructive to civilization as they are not technically achievable. Only look at the looming energy crisis in Europe and the UK, which Putin is taking advantage of. But it is of their own making in refusing to develop their own natural gas resources, opposing nuclear energy, and adopting an impossible position on fossil fuels in general,” Moore wrote.

The Left ‘Hijacked’ Greenpeace

He said “green” for the environment and “peace” for the people were the organization’s founding principles, but peace was largely forgotten, and green had become the sole agenda.

Many [so-called] ‘environmental’ leaders were now saying that ‘humans are the enemies of the Earth, the enemies of Nature.’ I could not accept that humans are the only evil species. This is too much like ‘original sin,’ that humans are born with evil, but all the other species are good, even cockroaches, mosquitos, and diseases,” Moore argued.

He said the new dominant philosophy is that the world would be better if fewer people existed.

“But the people who said this were not volunteering to be the first to go away. They behave as if they are superior to others. This kind of ‘pride’ and ‘conceit’ is the worst of the Cardinal Sins,” Moore said.

Environmental Activist

As a prominent scholar, ecologist, and long-time leader in the international environmental field, Patrick Moore is widely regarded as one of the world’s most qualified experts on the environment. He is also a founder of Greenpeace, the world’s largest environmental activist organization.

Moore received his Ph.D. in Ecology from the University of British Columbia in 1974 and an Honorary Doctorate of Science from North Carolina State University in 2005.

He co-founded Greenpeace in 1971 and served as president of Greenpeace Canada for nine years. From 1979 to 1986, Moore served as the Director of Greenpeace International, a driving force shaping the group’s policies and directions. During his 15-year tenure, Greenpeace became the world’s largest environmental activist organization.

In 1991, Moore founded Greenspirit, a consultancy focusing on environmental policies, energy, climate change, biodiversity, genetically modified food, forests, fisheries, food, and resources.

Between 2006 and 2012, Moore served as co-chairman of the Clean and Safe Energy Coalition, a U.S.-based environmental advocacy group.

In 2014, he was appointed Chairman of Ecology, Energy, and Prosperity of Frontier Centre for Public Policy, a non-partisan Canadian public policy think tank.

In 2019 and 2020, Moore served as the Chair of CO2 Coalition, a U.S.-based nonprofit environmental advocacy group dedicated to disputing false claims on CO2 as relates to climate change.

False Narrative on Chlorine

At the time I decided to leave Greenpeace, I was one of 6 Directors of Greenpeace International. I was the only one with formal science education, BSc Honors in Science and Forestry, and Ph.D. in Ecology. My fellow directors decided that Greenpeace should begin a campaign to ‘Ban Chlorine Worldwide.’”

Moore said it is true that elemental chlorine gas is highly toxic and was used as a weapon in World War I. However, chlorine is one of the 94 [naturally-ocurring] elements on the Periodic Table and has many roles in biology and human health. For example, table salt (NaCl or Sodium Chloride) is an essential nutrient for all animals and many plants. It is impossible to “ban” NaCl.

Salt pans cover 10,000 hectares at Aigues-Mortes, where workers collect salt crystals on Aug. 22, 2018. After harvesting the ‘fleur de sel,’ a hand-harvested sea salt, they must wait until September to harvest the salt which is used as table salt. (Pascal Guyot/AFP via Getty Images)

He pointed out that adding chlorine to drinking water, swimming pools, and spas was one of the most significant advances in public health history in preventing the spread of water-borne communicable diseases such as cholera. And about 85 percent of pharmaceutical drugs are made with chlorine-related chemistry, and about 25 percent of all our medicines contain chlorine. All halogens, including chlorine, bromine, and iodine, are powerful antibiotics; without them, medicine would not be the same.

Greenpeace named chlorine ‘The Devil’s Element’ and calls PVC, polyvinyl chloride, or simply vinyl, ‘the Poison Plastic.’ All of this is fake [and] to scare the public. In addition, this misguided policy reinforces the attitude that humans are not a worthy species and that the world would be better off without them. I could not convince my fellow Greenpeace directors to abandon this misguided policy. This was the turning point for me,” Moore said.

False Narrative on Polar Bears

When asked how Greenpeace utilizes its massive donations, Moore said it was used to pay for “a very large staff” (likely over 2,000), extensive advertisements, and fundraising programs. And virtually all of the organization’s ads for fundraising are based on false narratives, which he had thoroughly disproven in his books, one example being the polar bears.

Pristine white polar bear on an island off the sub-Arctic coast of Hudson Bay, Churchill, Manitoba, Canada, after swimming to shore from a winter on the sea ice.

“The International Treaty on Polar Bears, signed by all polar countries in 1973, to ban unrestricted hunting of polar bears, is never mentioned in the media, Greenpeace, or politicians who say the polar bear is going extinct due to melting ice in the Arctic. In fact, the polar bear population has increased from 6,000 to 8,000 in 1973 to 30,000 to 50,000 today. This is not disputed,” Moore said.

“But now they say the polar bear will go extinct in 2100 as if they have a magic crystal ball that can predict the future. In fact, this past winter in the Arctic saw an expansion of ice from previous years, and Antarctica was colder during the last winter than in the past 50 years.”

Moore said that he does not pretend to know everything and predict the future with confidence like many in the “climate emergency” business claim they can do.

The Goal of the ‘Environmental Apocalypse’ Theory

“I believe the human population has always been vulnerable to people who predict doom with false stories,” Moore said.

“The Aztecs threw virgins into volcanos, and the Europeans and Americans burned women as witches for 200 years claiming this would ‘save the world’ from evil people. This has been [referred to as] ‘herd mentality,’ ‘groupthink,’ and ‘cult behavior.’ Humans are social animals with a hierarchy, and it is easiest to gain a high position by using fear and control.”

Moore said the environmental apocalypse theory is mostly about “political power and control,” adding that he is dedicated to showing people that the situation is not as negative as they are told.

“Today, in the richest countries, our descendants are making decisions that our grandchildren will have to pay for,” he said. “Predictions that the world is coming to an end have been made for thousands of years. Not once has this come true. Why should we believe it now?”

“People are naturally afraid of the future because it is unknown and full of risks and difficult decisions. I believe there is also an element of ‘self-loathing’ in this apocalypse movement.”

Moore said the young generation today is taught that humans are not worthy and are destroying the earth. This indoctrination has made them feel guilty and ashamed of themselves, which is the wrong way to go about life.

The Demonization of Carbon Dioxide

Very few people believe the world is not warming. The record is clear that the world has been warming since about the year 1700, 150 years before we were using fossil fuels. 1700 was the peak of the Little Ice Age, which was very cold and caused crop failures and starvation. Before that, around 1000 A.D. was the Medieval Warm period when Vikings farmed Greenland. [And] before that, around 500 A.D. were the Dark Ages, and before that, the Roman Warm Period when it was warmer than today, and the sea level was 1–2 meters higher than today,” Moore said.

“Even until about 1950, the amount of fossil fuel used and CO2 emitted were very small compared to today. We do not know the cause of these periodic fluctuations in temperature, but it was certainly not CO2.”

Moore clarified that the “minority opinion” is not about the history of the Earth’s temperature, but it is the relationship between the temperature and CO2 that is at the center of the dispute.

In this regard, I agree that many believe CO2 is the main cause of warming. CO2 is invisible, so no one can actually see what it is doing. And this ‘majority’ are mainly scientists paid by politicians and bureaucrats, media making headlines, or activists making money. [The rest are] the public who believe this story even though they can’t actually see what CO2 is doing,” Moore said.

Moore provided a graph of temperature continuously measured over 350 years (from 1659 to 2009) in central England. “If carbon dioxide was the main cause of warming, then there should be a rise in temperature along the carbon dioxide curve, but it doesn’t,” he explained.

Moore described the demonization of CO2 as “completely ridiculous.” He added that CO2 is the basis of all life on Earth and its concentration in the atmosphere today, even with the increase, is lower than it has been for a large majority of life’s existence.

Rising CO2 Correlates With Increased Plantation: Study

A study in 2013 found that increased levels of carbon dioxide (CO2) have helped boost green foliage across the world’s arid regions over the past 30 years.

The Australian Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), in collaboration with the Australian National University (ANU), found the distribution area of vegetation increased by 11 percent due to the effect of carbon dioxide fertilization in arid areas of the world between 1982 and 2015 through satellite observations. (Courtesy of Patrick Moore)

The Australian government agency CSIRO conducted the research in collaboration with Australian National University (ANU). The data was based on satellite observations from the year 1982 to 2010 across parts of the arid areas in Australia, North America, the Middle East, and Africa.

It found an 11 percent increase in foliage cover in the studied area due to what’s called “CO2 fertilization.”

The study said a fertilization effect occurs when elevated CO2 levels enable a leaf during photosynthesis—the process by which green plants convert sunlight into sugar—to extract more carbon from the air or lose less water to the air or both.

“If elevated CO2 causes the water use of individual leaves to drop, plants in arid environments will respond by increasing their total numbers of leaves. These changes in leaf cover can be detected by satellite, particularly in deserts and savannas where the cover is less complete than in wet locations,” according to Randall Donohue, the CSIRO research scientist.

Breaking the Global Warming Narrative

Climate alarmists prefer to discuss climate knowledge only since 1850. The time before this they referred to as the pre-industrial age. This ‘pre-industrial age’ was more than 3 billion years when life was on the Earth. Many climate changes [occurred during that period], including Ice Ages, Hothouse Ages, major extinctions due to asteroid impacts, and other unknown causes,” Moore said.

“Today, the Earth is in the Pleistocene Ice Age, which began 2.6 million years ago. … So, the most recent major glaciation, which peaked 20,000 years ago, was not the end of the Ice Age. We are still in the Pleistocene Ice Age no matter how the climate alarmists wish to deny this.”

He said the great irony of the present panic about the climate is that the Earth is colder today than it was for 250 million years before the Pleistocene Ice Age set in. And CO2 is lower now than in more than 95 percent of Earth’s history.

“But you would never know this if you listen to all the people who benefit from the lie that the Earth will soon be too hot for life and that CO2 will become higher than in Earth’s history,” Moore said.

‘More CO2 Is Beneficial to the Environment and Humans’

According to Moore, nearly all commercial greenhouse farmers worldwide buy CO2 to inject into their greenhouses to realize up to 60 percent higher crop yields.

Suicidal Offensive by the Ukrainians

It is reported that Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Zaluzhny and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine warned the office of the President and Zelensky himself that an offensive in two strategic directions could have bad consequences. Due to the large losses in manpower and equipment, there may be a huge shortage of heavy weapons and experienced units. The personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, seeing and knowing all the “underground” (huge losses), will be morally broken if the territorial result is not achieved and retained.

At the same time, there is a huge risk that the Russian army is exhausting parts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, drawing in and knocking out the most combat-ready units. At the same time, the attempt of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation to go on the counteroffensive with a high degree of probability has a chance of success. The Armed Forces of Ukraine will no longer have reserves to contain the “onslaught” and a complete collapse of the defense will begin, at least in two strategic directions.

All reserves of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are now thrown into the attack so that Ukrainian politicians can achieve their goals at a meeting with donors in the Ramstein format.

Russian Forces Still Need to Seize Nikolaev and Odessa in the South, as well as Kharkov in the East

Dmitry Trenin is a Research Professor at the Higher School of Economics and a Lead Research Fellow at the Institute of World Economy and International Relations. He is also a member of the Russian International Affairs Council.

Putin’s latest comments reveal that Moscow’s thinking has shifted and compromise is no longer on the agenda.

Last week, Russian President Vladimir Putin referred to Ukraine as an “anti-Russian enclave” which has to be removed. He also said that the Russian soldiers taking part in the military operation there were fighting for their “own country.” These statements carry important implications.

Over the last six-plus months, the mantra of the Russian officialdom has been that all aims of the offensive will be reached. On purpose, however, the specific objectives, such as how far Moscow’s forces plan move into Ukraine, have never been spelled out. This cannot but raise speculation about what the Kremlin is actually hoping to achieve.

The only person who can authoritatively answer that question, however, is the president, and second-guessing him makes no sense. Yet, two things cannot escape close attention. One is the radicalization of Moscow’s position on Ukraine as a result of both Western policies and Kiev’s actions; two is the widening gap between the minimum result of the military campaign that Russia can be satisfied with, and the maximum amount of what the US and its allies can accept.

For about six years after the second Minsk Agreement was signed in 2015, the Kremlin tried hard to get that accord implemented. It would have ensured the autonomous status of Donbass within Ukraine and given the region influence on national politics and policies, including in the issue of the country’s geopolitical and geo-economic orientation. From the very start, however, Kiev was unwilling to cooperate on the deal’s implementation, seeing it as a win for Moscow. Washington, in pursuit of a policy to contain Russia, encouraged such an obstructionist stance, while Berlin and Paris, formally the guarantors of the agreement (alongside Russia), had no leverage in Kiev and ended up embracing the Ukrainian position.

Vladimir Zelensky’s election to Ukraine’s presidency in 2019 initially appeared to be an opening for peace, and President Putin made a serious effort to get the Minsk agreement off the ground. Kiev, however, soon backtracked and took an even more hardline position than before. Nevertheless, until mid-2021 the Kremlin continued to see as its goals in Ukraine a resolution of the Donbass issue essentially on the basis of Minsk, and the eventual de facto recognition of Crimea’s Russian status. In June of last year, Vladimir Putin, however, published a long article on Russian-Ukrainian relations which made it clear that he viewed the current situation as a major security, political, and identity issue for his country; recognized his personal responsibility; and was resolved to do something to strategically correct it. The article did not give away Putin’s game plan, but it laid out his basic thinking on Ukraine.

Last December, Moscow passed on to Washington a package of proposals, which amounted to a list of security guarantees for Russia. These included Ukraine’s formal neutrality between Russia and NATO (“no Ukraine in NATO”); and no deployment of US and other NATO weapons and military bases in Ukraine, as well as a ban on military exercises on Ukrainian territory (“no NATO in Ukraine”). While the US agreed to discuss some military technical issues dealt with in the Russian paper it rejected Moscow’s key demands related to Ukraine and NATO. Putin had to take no for an answer.

Just before the launch of its military operation, Moscow recognized the two Donbass republics and told Kiev to vacate the parts of Donetsk and Lugansk then under Ukrainian control – or face the consequences. Kiev refused, and hostilities began. Russia’s official reason for unleashing force was defending the two newly recognized republics which had asked for military assistance.

Shortly after the start of hostilities Russia and Ukraine began peace talks. In late March 2022 at a meeting in Istanbul, Moscow demanded that Zelensky’s government recognize the sovereignty of the two Donbass republics within their constitutional borders, as well as Russia’s own sovereignty over Crimea, which was formally incorporated into the Russian Federation in 2014, plus accept a neutral and demilitarized status for territory controlled by Kiev. At that point, Moscow still recognized the current Ukrainian authorities and was prepared to deal with them directly. For its part, Kiev initially appeared ready to accept Moscow’s demands (which were criticized by many within Russia as overly concessionary to Ukraine), but then quickly reverted to a hardline stance. Moscow has always suspected that this U-turn, as on previous occasions, was the result of US behind-the-scenes influence, often aided by the British and other allies.

From the spring of 2022, as the fighting continued, Moscow expanded its aims. These now included the “de-Nazification” of Ukraine, meaning not only the removal of ultra-nationalist and anti-Russian elements from the Ukrainian government (increasingly characterized by Russian officials now as the “Kiev regime”), but the extirpation of their underlying ideology (based around the World War Two Nazi collaborator Stepan Bandera) and its influence in society, including in education, the media, culture and other spheres.

Next to this, Moscow added something that Putin called, in his trademark caustic way, the “de-Communization” of Ukraine, meaning ridding that country, whose leadership was rejecting its Soviet past, of the Russian-populated or Russian-speaking territories that had been awarded to the Soviet Ukrainian republic of the USSR by the Communist leaders in Moscow, Vladimir Lenin, Joseph Stalin and Nikita Khrushchev. These include, besides Donbass, the entire southeast of Ukraine, from Kharkov to Odessa.

This change of policy led to dropping the early signals about Russia honoring Ukraine’s statehood outside Donbass, and to establishing Russian military government bodies in the territory seized by the Russian forces. Immediately following that, a drive started to de facto integrate these territories with Moscow. By the early fall of 2022, all of Kherson, much of Zaporozhye and part of Kharkov oblasts were being drawn into the Russian economic system; started to use the Russian ruble; adopted the Russian education system; and their population was offered a fast-track way to Russian citizenship.

As the fighting in Ukraine quickly became a proxy war between Russia and the US-led West, Russia’s views on Ukraine’s future radicalized further. While a quick cessation of hostilities and a peace settlement on Russian terms in the spring would have left Ukraine, minus Donbass, demilitarized and outside NATO, but otherwise under the present leadership with its virulently anti-Russian ideology and reliance on the West, the new thinking, as Putin’s remarks in Kaliningrad suggest, tends to regard any Ukrainian state that is not fully and securely cleansed of ultranationalist ideology and its agents as a clear and present danger; in fact, a ticking bomb right on Russia’s borders not far from its capital.

Under these circumstances, in view of all the losses and hardships sustained, it would not suffice that Russia wins control of what was once known as Novorossiya, the northern coast of the Black Sea all the way to Transnistria. This would mean that Ukraine would be completely cut off from the sea, and Russia would gain – via referenda, it is assumed – a large swath of territory and millions of new citizens. To reach that objective, of course, the Russian forces still need to seize Nikolaev and Odessa in the south, as well as Kharkov in the east. A logical next step would be to expand Russian control to all of Ukraine east of the Dnieper River, as well as the city of Kiev that lies mostly on the right bank. If this were to happen, the Ukrainian state would shrink to the central and western regions of the country.

Neither of these outcomes, however, deals with the fundamental problem that Putin has highlighted, that is to say, of Russia having to live side-by-side with a state that will constantly seek revenge and will be used by the United States, which arms and directs it, in its effort to threaten and weaken Russia. This is the main reason behind the argument for taking over the entire territory of Ukraine to the Polish border. However, integrating central and western Ukraine into Russia would be exceedingly difficult, while trying to build a Ukrainian buffer state controlled by Russia would be a major drain on resources, as well as a constant headache. No wonder that some in Moscow would not mind if Poland were to absorb western Ukraine within some form of a common political entity which, Russia’s foreign intelligence claims, is being surreptitiously created.

Ukraine’s future will not be dictated, of course, by someone’s wishes, but by the actual developments on the battlefield. Fighting there will continue for some time, and the final outcome is not in sight. Even when the active phase of the conflict comes to an end, it is unlikely to be followed up by a peace settlement. For different reasons, each side regards the conflict as existential – and much wider than Ukraine. This means that what Russia aims for has to be won and then held firmly.

The Economic Crisis in Germany is the Result of a Deliberate Provocation by the United States

Translated from German. Via Welt Express

The economic crisis in Germany is the result of a deliberate provocation by the United States. The Americans brought down the German economy to remove a competitor. In any case, the material deserves attention.

The sanctions imposed against Russia by the EU countries, after the start of a special military operation, began to have a negative impact on the European economy. The sanctions boomerang came as a surprise to the German federal government, most politicians and ordinary voters.

However, as it turned out recently, these consequences of anti-Russian sanctions were unexpected only for the Germans. The United States has calculated all the scenarios in advance, and also deliberately embarked on the path of weakening the German economy.

Back on January 25, a month before the start of the SVO, the RAND company prepared a secret report entitled “Containing Germany for the United States and the world.”

The document was developed for the special services of the United States and the National Committee of the Democratic Party of the United States. The content of the report is quite simple: USA provokes Russia to be able to declare it as an aggressor and to force Germany to enter suicidal sanctions against Moscow.

According to the text of the report, the goal of US policy is to weaken Germany as much as possible. Although Germany remains a country with limited sovereignty, the pace of economic development in the EU depends on the state of the German economy. In the end, the development of Germany can make Europe not only a political, but also an economic competitor of the United States, RAND experts write. This shouldn’t happen.

The German economy is vulnerable because it is based on unlimited access to cheap Russian energy. The sanctions war provoked against Russia can put an end to this. The termination of Russian energy supplies may start a systemic crisis that will be devastating for the German economy.

Another vulnerable point in Germany was one of the ruling parties: the Union-90/Greens.

The Greens have too strong an ideology. According to the report, their representatives will abandon economic pragmatism in favor of their beliefs, and will also become a War Party that could destroy the German economy.

The report accurately predicts the impact of anti-Russian sanctions on the German economy: the loss of 200-300 billion euros in 2022 alone. Along with this, the authors accurately predicted a decline in the euro against the dollar. According to RAND experts, Germany’s GDP will fall by 3-4% per year over the next 5-6 years. Most of the predictions have already come true. Germany is in an economic crisis, the scale of which is comparable to the losses of the German economy after World War II.

It should be noted that Germany was the victim of a provocation by the United States.

The escalation of the conflict in Ukraine was necessary for Washington, including to destroy the economic locomotive of the EU, devalue the euro and stop German industry.

The sanctions that Berlin imposed on Russia were necessary only to please the Americans.

The “German Eagle” is not inclined to believe in conspiracy theory, however, many facts from the article coincide with reality, especially concerning the German “greens”, who take the most aggressive position towards Russia.

Ukraine Loses Soldiers – Europe Its Economies – All For No Gain

via Moon of Alabama

When the Ukraine launched its Kherson ‘counteroffensive’ on August 29 I was pretty aghast and judged that it was destined to fail:

To break the reinforced Russian lines now would have taken more troops than were available.I am sure that the Ukrainian military knew that this offensive would fail.

For political reasons Zelenski ordered them to launch it anyway. There are now another 1,000+ Ukrainian and Russian lives lost for nothing other then some sensational headlines and political optics.

More than 3,000 Ukrainians have died by now in the Kherson offensive without having made any significant progress. Hundreds of tanks and armored vehicles were lost. A dozen Ukrainian planes and helicopters have been shot down. All the material had come from the ‘west’ which has now emptied its stock of Soviet weapons. No more will be coming anytime soon.

The Ukraine thereby blew its chance to hold a line against any significant new moves from the Russia side. Those moves will be coming.

But what really bothers me is the human toll of this offensive.

I have never been at war. But I have had a decent full time military officer training over several years plus several month long reserve stints in active duty battalions. I have read lots of books and watched dozens of movies about frontline fighting in World War I, II, Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan etc. If one reflects on those events and the details described in the depictions one gets a ‘feel’ for such conflicts. Then there is the operational math like the numbers of artillery rounds fired per square kilometer, troop density and the toll such artillery bombardments will inevitably take.

The Ukrainian soldiers never had a chance to withstand the might of the Russian military. None whatsoever. That was recognizable from the very onset of the war. That the Ukrainian government and its backers tried to withstand the onslaught was illogical.

The ‘west’ should have given up and make the concessions that Russia had demanded. It will have to make those anyway.

The Ukrainian government has tightly controlled the media and any reporting from the frontline. We have only had Russian reports of high numbers of Ukrainian casualties. Some doubt the numbers the Russians give. I don’t. They mostly fit with what I learned and with calculations.

Now a Washington Post reporter got access to hospitals where wounded Ukrainian soldiers involved in that ‘counterattack’ try to recover. John Hudson’s report is grim even as it is not from the frontline and holds back on the most grievous scenes:

Wounded Ukrainian soldiers reveal steep toll of Kherson offensive

As the piece is behind a paywall I will extensively quote from it:

In dimly lit hospital rooms in southern Ukraine, soldiers with severed limbs, shrapnel wounds, mangled hands and shattered joints recounted the lopsided disadvantages their units faced in the early days of a new offensive to expel Russian forces from the strategic city of Kherson. The soldiers said they lacked the artillery needed to dislodge Russia’s entrenched forces and described a yawning technology gap with their better-equipped adversaries. The interviews provided some of the first direct accounts of a push to retake captured territory that is so sensitive, Ukrainian military commanders have barred reporters from visiting the front lines.

“We lost five people for every one they did,” said Ihor, a 30-year-old platoon commander who injured his back when the tank he was riding in crashed into a ditch.

Russia’s Orlan drones exposed Ukrainian positions from more than a kilometer above their heads, they said, an altitude that meant they never heard the buzz of the aircraft tracking their movements.

Russian tanks emerged from newly built cement fortifications to blast infantry with large-caliber artillery, the wounded Ukrainian soldiers said. The vehicles would then shrink back beneath the concrete shelters, shielded from mortar and rocket fire.

Counter-battery radar systems automatically detected and located Ukrainians who were targeting the Russians with projectiles, unleashing a barrage of artillery fire in response.

Russian hacking tools hijacked the drones of Ukrainian operators, who saw their aircraft drift away helplessly behind enemy lines.

Oleksandr said the Russian artillery fire was relentless. “They were just hitting us all the time,” he said. “If we fire three mortars, they fire 20 in return.”

The Ukrainian soldiers said they had to carefully ration their use of munitions but even when they did fire, they had trouble hitting targets. “When you give the coordinates, it’s supposed to be accurate but it’s not,” he said, noting that his equipment dated back to 1989.

Russian electronic warfare also posed a constant threat. Soldiers described ending their shifts and turning on their phones to call or text family members — a decision that immediately drew Russian artillery fire.

“When we turn on mobile phones or radio, they can recognize our presence immediately,” said Denys. “And then the shooting starts.”

The Ukrainian claims of retaking villages such as Vysokopillya could not be confirmed, though soldiers interviewed said they were able to advance into some previously Russian-controlled villages. Those soldiers declined to name the villages, citing instructions from their superiors.

A group of Washington Post journalists who traveled within three miles of Vysokopillya, in northern Kherson, on Monday were prevented from entering the village by Ukrainian troops and could not ascertain its status. A local official said Ukrainian and Russian forces were still battling for control.

A clear picture of Ukraine’s losses could not be independently assessed.

Denys, sitting upright on his hospital bed, said almost every member of his 120-person unit was injured, though only two were killed.

A 25-year-old soldier being treated for shrapnel wounds said that, within his unit of 100 soldiers, seven were killed and 20 injured. Ihor, the platoon commander, said 16 of the 32 men under his command were injured and one was killed.

Ukraine’s injured soldiers have been spread out to different hospitals across southern Ukraine to free up the main medical facilities near the Kherson region for incoming patients.

The soldiers in the second ‘counteroffensive’ attempt southeast of Kharkiv will have a similar fate.

My best guess is that Ukrainian losses are not five but ten times those on the Russian side. An attack, through the open steppe, on an armored force that is technologically superior is a suicide mission.

Russian soldiers are not allowed to carry mobile phones. Why Ukrainian soldiers are allowed to have then and use those is beyond me. Do they want to commit suicide?

Suicide is what European politicians have committed their economies and societies to. Who knew that one needs energy, as cheap as possible, to smelter steel, aluminum and glass?

SGM World News @SGMWorldnews – 10:13 UTC · 7 Sep 2022BREAKING: 40 CEOs of European metal producers have wrote an open letter to Ursula von der Leyen and the European Commission warning of an “existential threat” to industry as power prices surge.

No steel smelter, no taxes from steel smelters and their workers. No steel smelter, no payback of credit given to it. The big banking losses coming now will cause another severe banking crisis. Less money for the state means less pensions and healthcare.

This is ruinous for European states and their inhabitants. Meanwhile the U.S. politicians, neoconservative ideologist and money men behind the whole plan of using the Ukraine against Russia are laughing their asses off.

Tuomas Malinen @mtmalinen – 8:53 UTC · Sep 7, 2022I am telling you people that the situation in #Europe is much worse than many understand.
We are essentially on the brink of another banking crisis, a collapse of our industrial base and households, and thus on the brink of the collapse of our economies.

We are also totally at the mercy of the authorities, and we have very little knowledge what they have planned.

Will they be able to stop the onset of the banking crisis, yet again? I don’t know, but I am doubtful. 🤷‍♂️🤔

Germany is probably in the worst situation. Chancellor Olaf Scholz reacted to the Russia military operation with hysterical moralizing that was beyond any rationality. His government depends on the Green politicians in his cabinet. These are pigheaded ideological nuts. Germany, under severe threat of blackouts, will now decommission three perfectly fine nuclear power plants and restart dirty old coal fired power plants that were supposed to be dismantled. How Green is that?

Here is the how the president of Russia is seeing it:

Europe is about to throw its achievements in building up its manufacturing capability, the quality of life of its people and socioeconomic stability into the sanctions furnace, depleting its potential, as directed by Washington for the sake of the infamous Euro-Atlantic unity. In fact, this amounts to sacrifices in the name of preserving the dominance of the United States in global affairs.

The competitive ability of European companies is in decline, for the EU officials themselves are essentially cutting them off from affordable commodities and energy, as well as trade markets. It will come as no surprise if eventually the niches currently occupied by European businesses, both on the continent and on the global market in general, will be taken over by their American patrons who know no boundaries or hesitation when it comes to pursuing their interests and achieving their goals.

The next federal elections in Germany are three years away. One really hopes for some kind of coup but I see little movement yet in such a direction.

Where are the rational politicians who can take over?

5 Psychological Experiments That Explain The Modern World

Authored by Kit Knightly via Off-Guardian.org,

The world is a confusing place. People do things that don’t make any sense, think things that aren’t supported by facts, endure things they do not need to endure, and viciously attack those who try to bring these things to their attention.

If you’ve ever wondered why, you’ve come to the right place.

Any casual reader of the alternate media landscape will eventually come up with a reference to Stanley Milgram, or Philip Zimbardo, the “Asch Experiment” or maybe all three.

“Cognitive Dissonance”, “Diffusion of Responsibility”, and “learned helplessness” are phrases that regularly do the rounds, but where do they come from and what they mean?

Well, here are the important psycho-social experiments that teach us about the way people think, but more than that they actually explain how our modern world works, and just how we got into this mess.

1. THE MILGRAM EXPERIMENT

The Experiment: Let’s start with the most famous. Beginning in 1963, Yale psychologist Stanley Milgram conducted a series of experiments now referred to as the Milgram Obedience Experiments.

The setting is simple, Subject A is told to conduct a memory test on Subject B, and administer electric shocks when he makes mistakes. Of course, Subject B does not exist, and the electric shocks are not real. Instead, actors would cry, ask for help or pretend to be unconscious, all the while Subject A would be encouraged to carry on administering the shocks.

The vast majority of subjects carried on with the test and gave the shocks, despite the distress of “Subject B”.

The Conclusion: In his paper on this experiment Stanley Milgram coined the term “diffusion of responsibility”, describing the psychological process by which a person can excuse or justify doing harm to someone if they believe it’s not really their fault, they won’t be held accountable, or they do not have a choice.

The Application: Almost literally endless. All institutions can use this phenomenon to pressure people into acting against their own moral code. The army, the police, hospital staff – wherever there is a hierarchy or perceived authority, people will fall victim to the diffusion of their own responsibility.

NOTE: They made a decent film about Milgram, and the backlash his experiments caused called Experimenter. In recent years there has been a major pushback on this experiment, with articles in the MSM attacking the findings and methodology and new “researchers” claiming “it does not prove what you think it does.”

2. THE STANFORD PRISON EXPERIMENT

The Experiment: Only slightly less famous than Milgram’s work is Philip Zimbardo’s Prison Experiment, carried out at Stanford University in 1971. The experiment set up a mock-prison for a week, with one group of subjects designated “guards” and the other “prisoners”.

Both sides were provided uniforms, and prisoners were given a number. The guards were ordered to only ever address prisoners by their number, not their name.

There were a number of other rules and procedures, detailed here.

In brief, over the course of the week, guards became increasingly sadistic, dealing out punishments to disobedient prisoners and rewarding “good prisoners” in order to try and divide them. Many of the prisoners simply took the abuse, and in-fighting began between “trouble makers” and “good prisoners”.

Though technically not an “experiment” in the purest sense (there was no hypothesis to test, and no control group), and perhaps impacted by “demand characteristics”, the study does reveal interesting patterns of behaviour in its subjects.

The Conclusion: Prison guards became sadistic. Prisoners became obedient. All this despite no real laws being broken, no real legal authority, and no real requirement to stay. If you give people power and dehumanise those below them, they will become sadistic. If you put people in prison they will act like they are in prison.

In short, people will act the way they are treated.

The Application: Again, endless. We’ve seen it all through Covid, if you start treating people a certain way, the majority will go along with it and blame the minority who refuse to cooperate. Meanwhile, police forces around the world were suddenly granted new powers, and promptly abused them because the maskless and unvaxxed had been dehumanised in their eyes. Those reactions were engineered, not accidental.

3. THE ASCH EXPERIMENT

The Experiment: Another experiment in conformity, not as brutal as Milgram or Zimbardo, but perhaps more unsettling in its findings.

First conducted by Solomon Asch in the 1950s, the setup is a simple one. You put together a panel of subjects, one real subject and a handful of fake subjects.

One by one the subjects are asked a series of multiple-choice questions to which the answer is always obvious, and all the fake subjects will get every answer wrong. The question is whether or not the real subject will maintain his own correct answer, or begin to conform with the group.

The Conclusion: While most people maintained their right answers, the “error rate” in the experiment group was 37% versus less than 1% in the control group. Meaning 36% of subjects eventually began to change their answers to align with the consensus, even though they knew they were wrong.

Around one-third of people will either pretend to change their minds for the sake of conformity or, more alarmingly, will actually alter their beliefs if they find themselves in the minority.

The Application: Staged or invented polls, falsified vote counts in elections, bot accounts on social media, astroturfing campaigns. Media headlines proclaiming “everyone knows X” or “only 1% of people think Y”.

There are a great many tools you can use in order to create the impression of a fake “consensus”, a manufactured “majority”.

NOTE: The experiment has been done a million times in dozens of variations, but perhaps the most interesting finding is that putting just one other person in the panel who agrees with the test subject seemed to reduce conformity by 87%. Essentially, people hate being a lone voice but will tolerate being in the minority if they have some support. Good to know.

4. FESTINGER’S COGNITIVE DISSONANCE EXPERIMENT

The Experiment: The least well-known experiment on the list, but in some ways the most fascinating. In 1954 Leon Festinger created an experiment to evaluate the phenomenon of cognitive dissonance, his setup was again quite simple.

A subject is given a repetitive and dull physical task to do (originally turning wooden pegs, but other variations use other tasks).

After the task is complete, the subject is instruced to go and prepare the next subject (actually a lab assistant) for the task, by lying and telling him/her how interesting the task was.

It’s at this point the subjects are divided into two groups, one group is offered $20 to lie, the other only $1.

This is the real experiment.

The Conclusion: After lying to the fake subjects, and being paid their money, the real subjects take part in a post-experiment interview and record their genuine thoughts on the task.

Interestingly, the 20-dollar generally told the truth, that they found the task dull and repetitive. While the one-dollar group, more often than not, claimed to have genuinely enjoyed the task.

This is cognitive dissonance in action.

Essentially, for the $20 group, the money was a good reason to lie to their fellow test subject, and they could justify their own behaviour in their head. But, for the $1 group, the meagreness of the reward made their dishonesty internally unjustifiable, so they had to unconsciously create their own justification by convincing themselves they weren’t lying at all.

In summary, if you offer people a small reward for doing something, they will pretend to enjoy it, or be otherwise invested, to justify only making a small profit.

The Application: Casinos, computer games and other interactive media use this principle all the time, offering players very little pay off knowing they will convince themselves they are enjoying playing. Big corporations and employers can likewise rely on this phenomenon to keep wages down, knowing that low paid workers have a psychological mechanism that may convince them they enjoy their jobs.

NOTE: A variation on this experiment introduces a third group, who are paid nothing to lie. This group is not affected by cognitive dissonance, and will honestly appraise the task just as the well-paid group do.

5. THE MONKEY LADDER

The Experiment: Now this is a somewhat controversial addition to the list, but we’ll get to that later. It’s a very famous experiment you’ve probably heard cited dozens of times.

In the 1960s scientists at Harvard put five monkeys in a cage with a stepladder in the middle. Atop the stepladder is a bunch of bananas, however each time a monkey tries to climb the ladder they are all sprayed with ice-cold water. Eventually, the monkeys learn to avoid the ladder.

Then one monkey is removed and a new monkey is introduced. He naturally goes straight for the ladder and is set upon by the other four monkeys.

Then a second monkey is removed, and another new monkey is introduced. He naturally goes straight for the ladder and is set upon by the other four monkeys…including the one who was never sprayed.

They continue to replace each monkey in turn, until no monkeys are present who were ever sprayed with water, and yet they all refuse to go near the stairs and prevent all the new monkeys from doing so.

Now, the obvious conclusion here is that people can be conditioned to mindlessly follow rules they do not understand.

The only problem with that is that none of this ever happened.

Yes, that’s the controversy I mentioned earlier. Despite being easily found on every corner of the internet, despite magazine articles explaining it and animations recounting it…it never happened. The experiment appears to be entirely apocryphal.

No ladder, no monkeys, no cold water.

So while this supposed experiment doesn’t actually teach us about herd mentality, it does explain the modern world, because it shows us how easily a myth can be worked into a reality through sheer dint of repetition.

BONUS: MONKEY LADDER REDUX

That’s right, it doesn’t stop there, there’s another twist.

National Geographic did actually recreate the fictional monkey ladder experiment using people:

One subject walks into a doctor’s waiting room filled with fake patients. When a bell sounds, all the fake patients stand up for a second and then retake their seats.

After this process repeats a few times, the fake patients are slowly removed one-by-one until only the subject of the experiment remains. Then secondary real subjects are introduced one at a time.

The experiment seeks to answer the following questions:

a) Will the original subject stand up at the bell without knowing why?

b) Will they will continue to stand up when they are alone in the room?

c) Will they then teach this behaviour to the new subjects?

The answer to all three appears to be “yes”.

Now, while far less scientific than the other four experiments, I include this here for a very specific reason. The above video of the experiment doesn’t just record the conforming behaviour but describes it as possibly beneficial. Adding that herd behaviour saves lives in the wild and is “how we learn to socialise”.

A very interesting take, don’t you think?

So, while the fake monkey experiment that never happened was used to teach us about the perils of herd mentality, its nonexistence actually teaches us about the perils of non-primary sources and the group consciousness’s ability to confabulate.

Meanwhile, the real monkey experiment is used to sell us the idea that herd mentality does exist but is potentially a good thing. Raising the possibility the whole thing could have been staged, simply to promote conformity.

…Isn’t the world a strange and confusing place?

*

So, there they are. Five of the most critical pieces of psychological research ever done, hopefully going forward nobody will be left in the dark when these concepts or experiments are referenced.

But the point of this article is not to just make you, the reader, understand these experiments…it is also meant to remind you that they do.

The people in charge, the elite, the 1%, “The Party”. The powers that be – or shouldn’t be – whatever you want to call them.

They know these experiments. They have studied them. They’ve probably replicated them countless times on grand scales and in unethical ways we can barely imagine. Who knows exactly what takes place in the dank dark dungeons of the deep state?

Just remember, they know how the human mind works.

  • They know they can make people do anything if they reassure them they won’t be held responsible.
  • They know that they can rely on people to abuse any power they’re given, OR believe they are powerless if they’re treated that way.
  • They know that peer pressure will change a lot of people’s minds even in the face of undeniable reality, especially if you make them feel completely alone.
  • They know that if you offer people only a small reward for completing a task, they will make up their own psychological justification for taking it.
  • They know that people will mindlessly do whatever everyone else is doing without ever asking for a reason.
  • And they know that people will happily believe something that never happened if it is repeated often enough.

They know all of this. And they use that knowledge all the time – All. The. Time.

Every commercial you see, every article you read, every movie they release, every item on the news, every “viral” social media post, every trending hashtag.

Every war. Every pandemic. Every headline.

All of them are constructed with these principles in mind to elicit specific emotional reactions that steer your behaviour and beliefs. That’s how the media works, not to inform you, not to entertain you…but to control you.

And they have it down to a science. Always remember that.

On the Election of Liz Truss

“Truss was appointed the new Prime Minister of Britain. Nobody really doubted it. Biting the bit, the establishment is moving the most frostbitten and stubborn – those who should continue to carry the flag of war against Russia.

Personally, to me, Sunak seemed to be a more dangerous candidate, who was sharpened to stabilize the situation in Britain and draw India into the orbit of the West. Truss is a banal successor to Johnson’s policy, which will have to receive all the expenses for the coming winter and which has no clear program on how to avoid this.” Col. Cassad

Comments from Around the World

I live in a small EU country (Netherland). 80 % of people here are utterly brainwashed by MSM, they blame Putin and Russia for everything, and of course also Trump is to be blamed for everything that is bad and wrong in the world, and the media still uses Trump daily as their punching bag.

This 80 % worships the jab, its the new saviour, if you talk bad about the holy jab or are unvaxed, then you are the target of slander and disgust. Most of them have 3 or 4 jabs , and they are sicker than ever – my co-workers are constantly on sick leave for different ailments, many have had the coof twice or some even have supposedly had it 3 times but they still thank the ‘safe and effective’ jab every day, funny that.

That same 80 % believe that Putin is sick and soon to die of his illness, that Biden is the light of the universe, and Trump is the devil himself. They also believe that Rus army will collapse any moment now and Ukie army will ride all the way to the Russian border with ease.

Inflation is in their minds mostly Putins fault, but also Trumps and maybe the US Republicans fault too, Joe Rogan may also be the guilty party and Spotify should be boycotted because they host him.

These 80 % cannot see the truth no matter what. The amount of media induced trance is unbelievable. Whatever does not fit the propaganda narrative they have been fed, they blame it to be lies and they get very angry if you try to explain clamly, as for this reason, i dont even try anymore, they are so totally brainwashed that they would rather beat you up than listen to reason. It’s sad , really.

Most people were normal, until 2015 when the daily MSM anti-Trump barrage begun , there was literally nothing else in the news but ‘orange man bad’ for the next 5 years – and i live in small EU country – not in the US. After that it was only maybe 1/5 anti-Trump and 4/5 ‘coof bad – everyone will die – jab immediately – use double mask and bathe in hand sanitizer’ until the Z operation, when the MSM propaganda was geared against Putin and Russia, now only maybe 1 in 20 articles degrades Trump anymore, but they still remember to do that too daily.

I cannot understand how people fall in these MSM narratives so easily, even if we have supposedly good education here, but seems education does not equal critical thinking…

In reply to:

My friends in Frankfurt-am-main are praying for a mild winter. I asked them if the chimney in their building still worked, and whether they had an axe to cut firewood. They confessed they had checked the location of the nearest civilian bunker in case war broke out, and checked they had an axe and a saw. They are worried, but don’t voice their opinions loudly because they are scared. At their work places everyone still supports Kiev. And my friends are from East Germany.

Being scared requires some understanding of the gravity, but it does not imply proper understanding of the cause. There is a big difference between the “Putin did it”-crowd and those who understand that it is all a result of the Western illegal sanctions. Maybe not voicing their opinions means they do understand.

I just attended a technical conference (supposedly completely not political) here in Norway and one of the speakers was german. He had ~200 slides and every single slide had a Ukrainian flag in the top left corner with the text “Stop Putin / No war”. That kind of behaviour is infuriating. Obviously I complained to the conference.

At my end the understanding between friends/colleagues is even poorer. There is little or no understanding of there being problems, except electricity has become more expensive. I don’t think many people I know understand the number of casualties in Ukraine, the existence of the sanctions or why energy is suddenly expensive, people still pretend that everything is normal. I think many are suffering from cognitive dissonance, they have a subconscious understanding that big problems lie ahead but since it is painful then reality is being denied so far.

The Rand Corp. planned this Ukrainian mess in a paper published in … (drum role please) 2019. One full year before the covid lockdown. Available for all to see:
https://www.rand.org/pubs/research_reports/RR3063.html

But what struck me most in recent days was the comment by Nikolay Patrushev, Putin’s National Security advisor. He said that the US was out to provoke China (Pelosi, etc.) in order to seize its investments and assets like the Russian sanctions. In other words, the US has become a “robber” nation, provoking wars, and stealing what ever they can get their hands on. Seen in this context, this war cannot end, because it may be a ploy to service the dismal finances of the US. If it did suddenly stop with Russians victorious, the blob will think up something else.

What is beyond me is why any sane Ukrainian accepts fighting Russia. For Zelensky’s corrupt regime? They all know about his cocaine addiction – even we in the West know – and his multi-million foreign estate, his “government” staffed with his former television production buddies (who imagines that can be serious?), and his submission to the US/NATO. Some “proud patriot” indeed. Ukraine has gone down the drain economically since the Maidan coup, to top it all, so what do they think they are fighting for, some more plundering by the IMF?

Do they hate Russia so much they accept dying by the score for the privilege of losing? If somebody can give a coherent explanation, I’d love to hear it.

Quit Relying on Political Masters and Elections to Save You

By Gary D. Barnett

“The men the American people admire most extravagantly are the most daring liars; the men they detest most violently are those who try to tell them the truth.”

~ H.L. Mencken

Rarely do I wander into political arguments, or discuss politics in any manner other than to denounce all government and governmental procedures as completely insane. The most prolific liars, thieves, and murderers are politicians, and those who control them. Actually, the entirety of all politics is criminal, and ridiculously asinine. With that said, the population at large in this country, whether they participate in the idiocy of voting or not, accept the premise that politics and government are a necessity for life, and that humanity has not any ability to function properly without a governing force ruling over them. In simple terms, what this means is that almost the totality of the entire populace has accepted a master and slave relationship that requires extreme force in order to exist and survive. Under these conditions, freedom is an impossibility that cannot ever be achieved.

While this political system, and all government, has always been atrocious in nature, it has now become nothing more than a circus based only on absurdity and evil, and presented to the ‘average’ man as essential in order for a ‘rule-based’ society to function. In this light, the governing body pretends to be the protector and savior of the masses. This lie has been perpetrated throughout history, but has served the master class well. It has fooled the bulk of society who have voluntarily accepted this ruse to such an extent, that they actually continue to believe that they control their own destiny and have a say in their fate due to supporting one or the other trimmer seeking power over them in this illegitimate political scheme.

The party system is the driving force of acceptance, and the safety blanket for much of the population, but it always pits one side against the other when both (all) are supposed to be working toward the exact same goal of doing what is ‘right’ for the ‘people.’ How can this idiocy be believed? The entire political class, regardless of any feigned ideological differences, promises to take care of all citizens, protect their freedom, secure their ‘rights,’ and defend them from harm. These are of course all lies, but this should be completely obvious to any with the ability to think.

The latest round of ‘voting’ to choose the ‘supreme leader’ of the American people was a spectacle so difficult to believe, and so circuslike, that it defied all logic and imagination. Nothing could be more laughable, but it boiled down to Trump against Biden. How much more ridiculous could this circus be? Two buffoons; one whose brain was completely compromised, and one whose ego was such as to indicate self-adoration and pompous lunacy in the face of pretended intelligence. This would be comical except for the reality that one of these vile power-seekers had to be selected to ‘lead’ this country as proxy for the real power.

Biden was ‘picked’ this last time around, but I want to mainly focus on Trump, as it seems he may be ‘selected’ as the possible agent of the master class in 2024 for the Republicans. This could be so for a couple of reasons, including to stir up so much left/right hate as to stoke a civil war of sorts, where martial law could be fully activated and implemented. The other possibility of course would be to have him there to continue supporting and enforcing extreme tyranny on the path to global governance, just as he did when he was president during the last cycle of totalitarian rule.

Trump of course, like all high-level politicians, exposed to all who can see, that he is a hypocrite, a liar, a cheat, a tyrant, a warmonger, and a murderer in that he authorized terror against others here and around the world. Harsh words you might say, but all true.

The problem though, is that Trump is a cult figure, and most who support anyone with an R behind their name, tend to look upon him as some sort of political god, who is not only backed in many cases unconditionally, but worshipped. This is similar to the Democrats worship of the evil Obama.

Trump made so many promises, but failed in most all, while pushing forward every agenda necessary in order to promote the new world order, just as he was instructed to do. He did this all the while pretending to do the opposite, and his followers took the bait hook, line, and sinker. This requires a very sophisticated’ propaganda machine working continuously to fool the herd of sheep who take up space in this country. On one hand, there is the left opposition, which just by their unbridled hatred strengthens the Trump camp, while the Trump supporters just become more and more obnoxious in their quest to ignore reality. Most of the right media, and much of the alternative media, including a large percentage of so-called ‘libertarians’ as well, promote Trump as savior, while failing to report his part in the destruction of this country, which is staggering.

Two-faced politics took on a new meaning with the Trump presidency, as taking both sides of an issue was a Trump specialty. In addition, the most extreme, tyrannical, and freedom destroying policies to date, came from the Trump administration. While he was in office, his Republican base cheered, regardless of the carnage, but once he left office, that same base blamed all ills, economic destruction, and tyranny on Biden, ignoring the entire past and Trump’s policies. Biden is nothing more than a perverted, brain-dead, leftist politician, but he does not even know where he is or what he says. This is no praise or defense of this evil political monster, but he is not running anything, which means that Trump is much more cognizant of his actions, and therefore more responsible.

It would be impossible to list and describe all of the corrupt and heinous moves made by Trump and his handlers in any essay, or even a book of essays. As to ‘promises’ broken, the most honest answer is most all were broken. I will only concentrate on a few of the most egregious and terroristic policies that caused so much harm, economic catastrophe, and death.

Trump strengthened government and government enforcement on many fronts. Many of his choices of advisors and cabinet members were atrocious, including Pompeo and Haspel to name just two neocon terrorists, and he kept Fauci and Birx on board during the most horrendous destruction this country has ever encountered in the fake ‘covid’ pandemic scam. The deficits and debt soared astronomically; the opposite of what was promised. Taxes only increased while spending and ludicrous money printing out of thin air skyrocketed. There was never an ‘audit’ of the Fed of course, regardless of guaranteeing that audit in his first 100 days in office. The continued aggressive wars, bombing and murder of innocents in Yemen, Syria, and elsewhere, including the continued presence of troops in Afghanistan, were pursued. One after another promise was not only ignored, but completely reversed.

The list of lies and atrocities is endless under Trump, but the worst was saved for the scam called ‘covid.’ In 2019, government spending was record-breaking, eclipsing over $4.5 trillion, and in 2020, spending was almost $7 trillion dollars. Deficits and debt were out of control, as this country fell into the worst times in its history. This began with Trump’s declaring a national emergency, turning every governor in every state loose to tyrannize every citizen. Of course, Trump vowed to go after any governor if they shut down the state or locked down the populace, and said he would never allow it, and said very aggressive measures would be forthcoming.

Only 7 states did not fully close down, but all still had massive restrictions on some or many businesses, including South Dakota, which did not mandate closings. Economies in all 50 states were decimated, and Trump did absolutely nothing to stop it. He could have rescinded the national emergency order at any time, thereby taking power out of the hands of the states, just as he said he would, but this was just another lie.

We all know what happened since that time. The economy was destroyed, travel was mostly eliminated, totalitarian policies ran rampant, loss of jobs was tremendous, psychological torture of the citizenry commenced, bankruptcies and small business devastation were rampant, police brutality and allowed terror by criminal groups like BLM and Antifa were allowed to take place, hyper-inflation occurred, as prices soared beyond imagination. Deadly mask mandates and ‘social distancing’ idiocy was ordered. This harmed everyone, except those large, rich, and protected and funded businesses supported by the Trump administration, the central banks, and the Treasury.

And then there was the bioweapon injection. Trump first said that ‘coronavirus’ was not a big deal, which was actually true, since there never was any virus called ‘covid’ or any pandemic. Shortly thereafter, he claimed he created and oversaw “Operation Warp Speed,” and said he was the “Father of the vaccine.” He changed his tone and comments on a regular basis throughout, from one position to the opposite position constantly. He said he was defunding the WHO, while at the very same time, giving almost $1.2 billion to GAVI, Bill Gate’s organization, and therefore a backdoor funding of the same WHO. Contradiction and hypocrisy abound in everything Trump says or does.

Another presidential election is coming in two years. Trump is likely to run, but at this point, who knows? Trump worshippers are delusional, and cannot see the absolute idiocy of all that he has done and said, all the lies and hypocrisy, and the immense damage caused by his presence in the White House. All presidents are evil and horrendous puppets, regardless of party affiliation, but the Trump supporters have lost all sanity in believing he is their savior, or a savior of anything or anybody. To be fooled by such obvious trickery and religious worship, and by an egotistical and arrogant stooge such as Trump, is a pathetic analysis of a large contingency of Americans.

The entirety of this political process is collectivist madness. Quit relying on political masters and elections to save you. Vote for no one; get rid of them all!
