The ‘Rules-Based International Order’ Is Unraveling Much Faster Than Expected

Authored by Pepe Escobar, via Zero Hedge

The “rules-based international order” – as in “our way or the highway” – is unraveling much faster than anyone could have predicted.

The Eurasia Economic Union (EAEU) and China are starting to design a new monetary and financial system bypassing the U.S. dollar, supervised by Sergei Glazyev and intended to compete with the Bretton Woods system.

Saudi Arabia – perpetrator of bombing, famine and genocide in Yemen, weaponized by U.S., UK and EU – is advancing the coming of the petroyuan.

India – third largest importer of oil in the world – is about to sign a mega-contract to buy oil from Russia with a huge discount and using a ruble-rupee mechanism.

Riyadh’s oil exports amount to roughly $170 billion a year. China buys 17% of it, compared to 21% for Japan, 15% for the U.S., 12% for India and roughly 10% for the EU. The U.S. and its vassals – Japan, South Korea, EU – will remain within the petrodollar sphere. India, just like China, may not.

Sanction blowback is on the offense. Even a market/casino capitalism darling such as uber-nerd Credit Suisse strategist Zoltan Pozsar, formerly with the NY Fed, IMF and Treasury Dept., has been forced to admit, in an analytical note:

“If you think that the West can develop sanctions that will maximize the pain for Russia by minimizing the risks of financial stability and price stability for the West, then you can also trust unicorns.”

Unicorns are a trademark of the massive NATOstan psyops apparatus, lavishly illustrated by the staged, completely fake “summit” in Kiev between Comedian Ze and the Prime Ministers of Poland, Slovenia and the Czech Republic, thoroughly debunked by John Helmer and Polish sources.

Pozsar, a realist, hinted in fact at the ritual burial of the financial chapter of the “rules-based international order” in place since the early Cold War years: “After the end of this war [in Ukraine], ‘money’ will ‎never be ‎the same.”Especially when the Hegemon demonstrates its “rules” by encroaching on other people’s money.

And that configures the central tenet of 21st century martial geopolitics as monetary/ideological. The world, especially the Global South, will have to decide whether “money” is represented by the virtual, turbo-charged casino privileged by the Americans or by real, tangible assets such as energy sources. A bipolar financial world – U.S. dollar vs. yuan – is at hand.

There’s no surefire evidence – yet. But the Kremlin may have certainly gamed that by using Russia’s foreign reserves as bait, likely to be frozen by sanctions, the end result could be the smashing of the petrodollar. After all the overwhelming majority of the Global South by now has fully understood that the backed-by-nothing U.S. dollar as “money” – according to Poznar – is absolutely untrustworthy.

If that’s the case, talk about a Putin ippon from hell.

It’s gold robbery time

As I outlined the emergence of the new paradigm, from the new monetary system to be designed by a cooperation between the EAEU and China to the advent of the petroyuan, a serious informed discussion erupted about a crucial part of the puzzle: the fate of the Russian gold reserves.

Doubts swirled around the Russian Central Bank’s arguably suicidal policy of keeping assets in foreign securities or in banks vulnerable to Western sanctions.

Of course there’s always the possibility Moscow calculated that nations holding Russian reserves – such as Germany and France – have assets in Russia that can be easily nationalized. And that the total debt of the state plus Russian companies even exceeds the amount of frozen reserves.

But what about the gold?

As of February 1, three weeks before the start of Operation Z, the Russian Central Bank held $630.2 billion in reserves. Almost half –

$311.2 billion – were placed in foreign securities, and a quarter – $151.9 billion – on deposits with foreign commercial and Central Banks. Not exactly a brilliant strategy. As of June last year, strategic partner China held 13.8% of Russia’s reserves, in gold and foreign currency.

As for the physical gold, $132.2 billion – 21% of total reserves – remains in vaults in Moscow (two-thirds) and St. Petersburg (one-third).

So no Russian gold has been frozen? Well, it’s complicated.

The key problem is that more than 75% of Russian Central Bank reserves are in foreign currency. Half of these are securities, like government bonds: they never leave the nation that issued them. Roughly 25% of the reserves are linked to foreign banks, mostly private, as well as the BIS and the IMF.

Once again it’s essential to remember Sergei Glazyev in his groundbreaking essay Sanctions and Sovereignty:

“It is necessary to complete the de-dollarization of our foreign exchange reserves, replacing the dollar, euro and pound with gold. In the current conditions of the expected explosive growth in the price of gold, its mass export abroad is akin to treason and it is high time for the regulator to stop it.”

This is a powerful indictment of the Russian Central Bank – which was borrowing against gold and exporting it. For all practical purposes, the Central Bank could be accused of perpetrating an inside job. And subsequently they were caught flat-footed by the devastating American sanctions.

As a Moscow analyst puts it, the Central Bank “had delivered some volumes of gold to London in 2020-2021. This decision was motivated by a high price of gold at that time (near $2000 per ounce) and could hardly be initiated by Putin. If so, this decision can be qualified as very stupid, or even part of a diversionist tactic (…) Most of the gold delivered to London was not stored but sold and transferred into foreign currency reserves (in euro or pounds) which were frozen later.”

No wonder a lot of people in Russia are livid. A quick flashback is in order. In June last year, Putin signed a law canceling requirements for the repatriation of foreign exchange earnings from gold exports. Five months later, Russia’s gold miners were exporting like crazy. A month later, the Duma wanted to know why the Central Bank had stopped buying gold. No wonder Russia media erupted with accusations of “an unprecedented [gold] robbery”.

Now it’s way more dramatic: RIA Novosti described the American-dictated freeze as – what else – a “robbery” and duly predicted global economic chaos. As for the Central Bank, it’s back on the gold buying business.

None of the above though explains some “missing” gold that de facto is not under the possession of the Russian Central Bank. And that’s where a somewhat shady character such as Herman Gref comes in.

Let’s check this out with State Duma deputy Mikhail Delyagin, who had a few things to say about the gold-exported-to-London bonanza:

“This process has been going on for the past year. Exported, according to some estimates, 600 tons. [Head of Russian Central Bank] Nabiullina said – whoever wants to sell gold to get cash, or if you mine gold and trade it, keep in mind that the state, in my person, will not buy gold from you at a market price. We will take it at a big discount. If you want to get honest money for it, please export it. The world center of gold trading is London. Accordingly, everyone began to export and sell gold there. Including Mr. [Herman] Gref. The head of the formally state-owned Sberbank sold a huge part of his gold reserves.”

Look here for fascinating details about Sberbank’s Gref shenanigans.

Watch for the gold-backed ruble

It may be a case of too little too late, but at least the Kremlin has now established a committee – with authority over the Central Bank nerds – to handle the serious stuff.

It boggles the mind that the Russian Central Bank does not answer to the Russian constitution as well as to the judicial system, but in fact is subordinated to the IMF. A case can be made that this cartel-designed financial system – implying zero sovereignty – simply cannot be tackled head on by any nation on the planet, and Putin has been trying to undermine it step by step. That includes, of course, keeping Elvira Nabiullina on the job even as she duly follows the Washington consensus to the letter.

And that brings us back to the ultra high stakes possibility that the Kremlin may have wanted from the start to go no holds barred, forcing the Atlanticists to reveal their true hand, and exposing their system in a “The King is Naked” spectacular for a worldwide audience.

And that’s where the EAEU/China new monetary/financial system comes in, under Glazyev supervision. We can certainly envision Russia, China and vast swathes of Eurasia progressively divorcing from casino capitalism; the ruble reconverted to a gold-backed currency; and Russia focused on self-sufficiency, productive domestic investment and trade connectivity with most of the Global South.

Way beyond its confiscated foreign reserves and tons of gold sold in London, what matters is that Russia remains the ultimate natural resource powerhouse. Shortages? A little austerity for a little while will take care of it: nothing as dramatic as the national impoverishment under the neoliberal 1990s. And extra boost would come from exporting natural resources at premium discount prices to other BRICS and most of Eurasia and the Global South.

The collective West has just fabricated a new, tawdry East-West divide. Russia is turning it upside down, to its own profit: after all the multipolar world is rising in the East.

The Empire of Lies won’t back down, because it does not have a Plan B. Plan A is to “cancel” Russia across the – Western – spectrum. So what? Russophobia, racism, 24/7 psyops, propaganda overdrive, cancel culture online mobs, that don’t mean a thing.

Facts matter: the Bear has enough nuclear/hypersonic hardware to shatter NATO in a few minutes before breakfast and teach a lesson to the collective West before pre-dinner cocktails. There will come a time when some exceptionalist with a decent IQ will finally understand the meaning of “indivisibility of security”.

“Destined to hang or drown”? – Russian proverb.

As we end this third week of World War III it’s becoming clear that the West’s end-game strategy is now regime change in Russia. As the money and weapons pour into Ukraine the Ukrainian Flag further morphs into the 21st century’s version of ‘Old Shoe,’ all around the Twittersphere.

Zelenskyy’s even been invited to the Oscar’s for pity’s sake.

If you were ever in doubt about this, just watch Senator Lindsey Graham (Neocon – SC) triple-down on assassinating a world leader.

Speaking at a press conference, Graham said “I hope he will be taken out, one way or the other,” adding “I don’t care how they take him out. I don’t care if we send him to The Hague and try him. I just want him to go.”
“It’s time for him to go,” Graham further said of Putin, echoing Joe Biden’s blurted remarks that “He’s a war criminal.”
“I wish somebody had taken Hitler out in the ’30s. So yes, Vladimir Putin is not a legitimate leader. He is a war criminal.” Graham declared.
Graham further proclaimed that Russia is “going to have zero future” under Putin, adding “I think the world is better off without Putin – the sooner the better, and I don’t care how we do it.”

This is called Saying the Quiet Parts Out Loud.

Even Paul Craig Roberts is trying to figure out why Putin isn’t treating his enemies more ruthlessly. We awake Americans have a real sense of the depravity that our leaders carry and at times I think we get carried away with our own insights here.

As I said would happen, Russia’s go-slow war has played 100% into their enemies’ hands. Russia needed a quick victory to forestall a devastating psyops campaign against her and to intimidate further NATO expansion. What the Kremlin achieved by believing that the West would respect humanitarian intentions is infamy. Instead of discouraging provocations of Russia that will eventually lead to nuclear war, the Kremlin’s liberal goody-goodly war policy, which the West sees as irresolution, has encouraged more provocations

Dr. Roberts’ thesis is one I’ve heard from multiple people, including from my friend Dexter White on two recent podcasts we did (here and here). Putin’s slow rolling the Ukraine operation has further emboldened Neocon crazies whose whole being is focused on interpreting every action by their enemies as a weakness to exploit.

This analysis further solidifies my conclusion that they are left-brain possessed, betraying all the attributes of someone psychologically unbalanced to the point of madness. They become paranoid psychotics seeing everything in terms of their enemy.

It’s the most popular refrain of desperate globalists, “Putin did it.”

It doesn’t matter if it’s true or not. What matters is keeping people in that suggestible state. It’s easy to do since they, themselves, are there too.

Lindsey Graham likes to play tough guy. So does Biden. Neither of these men have ever been in a real fight with their bodies on the line in their life. They’ve never really been in a life-threatening situation. For them their fear is far worse, it’s reputational which means fear of exposure.

They hide behind cameras, their positions, and their egos.

They live in fear of being shamed.

It’s easy to dismiss Graham as a buffoon, because he is. But he’s also a very important cog in the machine. So, when he speaks it’s important. Don’t be flip about these statements, they absolutely mean something.

If you look around D.C. you see the same psychological projection of inner rot every time one of these war mongers gets in front of a camera to manufacture consent. They are also fearful of the shame of exposure which drives them to madness like Lindsey displays now on a nearly daily basis.

This push for regime change in Russia, however, begs a very important question: “Why have they gone this far? Why do they think they can get regime change when Putin has 70+% support?”

Is it because they really are scared of the emerging facts on the ground, that Russia is grinding out, inevitably and inexorably, a victory in Ukraine on Russian terms that isn’t a reflection of bad military strategy and/or poor intelligence and logistics?

Or is it something deeper.

Something Darker

Alistair Crooke and I talked about this in our latest podcast. Russia’s collective psyche is a reflection of Putin’s. You’ll see that their anger and frustration is now real and complete. The West hates Russia and Russians with a burning passion that is irrational.

The fear of loss of potency has made war-mongers out of way too many folks because they refuse to blame themselves for this mess:

  • That they allowed Biden to take the White House
  • That they believed all the crude propaganda about Trump and Putin
  • That they still wear their masks, now with Ukrainian Flags on them, to show their wisdom over those who are now clearly traitors.
  • That their paychecks are getting smaller by the day.

When you see a push poll by Pew that states more than one-third of Americans are willing to risk nuclear war to stop Putin in Ukraine, you know something has gone way off the rails, and it ain’t the Russians.

It’s not fear that makes the Russian people and Putin angry, it’s disappointment at having their hand of friendship consistently slapped away so thoroughly in the post-Soviet era.

What goodwill that existed in the West towards Russia in the 1990’s, seeing them as victims of a terrible evil to be pitied, has morphed into disgust for following a man into war for threatening their comfortable existence behind their iPhones.

When Putin speaks now he is visibly, viscerally angry. He’s been systematically, for years, cutting Russia off from the influences of the ill-liberalism of the West.

Putin knows he’s been pushed into this by people who are powerful but psychologically small. And the Russian people have been deeply disrespected to the point of war. That’s why his poll numbers rise while Bidens’ barely budge.

That all leads to regime change as the end-game because it may be the only option, which implies continued escalation to the point of something unthinkable.

And it makes perfect sense that’s what they are planning, not just regime change, but a wider war (see the buildup of NATO troops) to grind Russia into a paste and atomize it, Russian culture and the Russian people.

That said, Davos has very little human intelligence on the ground to actually make that happen. All the sanctions and expelling diplomats helped Russia’s and Putin’s security.

The U.S. Embassy in Moscow has less than 50 people in it.

While that is a sad state of affairs and means there is little to no hope of diplomacy, it also means there isn’t any infrastructure to do what Lindsey is so desperately saying… Someone take him out, anyone!

That’s a sign of creating the new narrative while simultaneously betraying helplessness, in my view.

Now, unfortunately that leads me into an ever darker place. They don’t just want regime change and some kind of negotiated settlement for Ukraine. That’s actually way off the table now.

They see the writing on the wall for their financial system which has failed. The only option they see now is making open preparations for WWIII thinking they still have the materiel and the manpower to enforce their Great Reset, which was always leading to war.

Lindsey Graham’s job is to build up the propaganda war to justify NATO’s entrance into Ukraine in the next few weeks.

The program now is WWIII, possibly with nukes and the abject humiliation of Russia and its eventual destruction.

And ours.

I begged off ‘working’ yesterday because of this realization. I was drained to the point of exhaustion and planned on sleeping my depression off. I re-watched part I of Oliver Stone’s The Putin Interviews from 2016.

I recommend everyone watch these films, they are an enlightenment.

If you want to know your enemy, you should study him. Demonizing him may win you friends at the water cooler, but it will cost you your soul. About 20 minutes in, during their first conversation, Stone brings up the multiple assassination attempts on Putin.

If you watch nothing else, watch this segment (click here) to get a better understanding of Russia and Putin. The punchline is simple:

“Do you know what they say among the Russian people? Those who are destined to hang, do not drown.”
– VLADIMIR PUTIN

Putin is well aware, hyper-aware of his situation. A person in his position who has been fighting this way for more than 20 years, a project he has dedicated the 2nd half of his life to, is not so stupid as to be the willing dupe of Davos nor is he blind to the capabilities or the ruthlessness of his enemies.

This is why I hold to the positions about Putin that I do. He may fail here. War is hell and nothing ever goes according to the plan on the white board.

But, if you are going to be led into war who would your bet on? People like Lindsey Graham could never stand in front of a camera and say what Putin said to Stone. Why?

Because there is no there there. He’s just a shadow projector with a hand puppet up its ass.

But if you turn the camera away from Graham and Biden and look at Putin, he’s speaking to the world now. That’s what his latest speech was about.

It wasn’t aimed at his enemies.

He’s done talking to them. They aren’t listening.

That speech was aimed at everyone else including Americans and Europeans, “This is what they think of you. This is what they are willing to do to demand your obedience,” They will steal your money, take your children, burn your life to the ground.

And it isn’t like he doesn’t have a very sound point, folks.

If anyone was calling for regime change now, it’s Putin.

It may have zero effect or play here in the West. In fact, I predict it will have almost zero effect. But it will resonate around the world in those places now very scared of the conflict that Biden and Davos are forcing on everyone.

Under those circumstances clarity comes quickly. Big decisions happen fast.

I think a global memetic collapse is in process as I type this. We can’t see it here in the West because we aren’t allowed to. But in parliaments and politburos around the that part that Davos just sees as ‘the help,’ it’s happening. The headlines are coming in almost too fast for anyone to keep up with.

This is what happens when fearful men become cornered. Davos is cornered. The drowning man will do everything to keep from drowning, including drowning his rescuer.

The hanged man has already accepted his fate. He is free.

What happens next is not in his hands, it’s in ours.

China Warns of “Unimaginable Consequences” of Forcing a Nuclear Power into a Corner

via RT

China’s vice foreign minister blames NATO for stoking the instability that led to the Russia-Ukraine conflict

Vice Foreign Minister Le Yucheng said that globalization should not be “weaponized” while military bloc politics must be “rejected,” a day after US President Joe Biden warned his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping of “consequences” if Beijing supported Russia’s military action in Ukraine.

Speaking at the Fourth International Forum on Security and Strategy in Beijing on Saturday, the Chinese official agreed with Moscow’s assessment that NATO’s unchecked expansion in Eastern Europe and the failure to address Russia’s national security concerns paved the way to the current crisis, saying that a simple “commitment of no eastward expansion could have easily ended the crisis and stopped the sufferings.”

“Instead, one chose to fan the flames at a safe distance, watching its own arms dealers, bankers and oil tycoons make a fortune out of the war while leaving people of a small country with the wounds of war that would take years to heal,” he said.

NATO’s pursuit of “absolute security” leads to “absolute non-security,” Le added.

The consequences of forcing a major power, especially a nuclear power, into a corner are even more unimaginable.

Moscow has vehemently opposed NATO’s presence close to its borders, and embarked on a mission to obtain written guarantees that would halt the US-led military bloc’s expansion and bar Ukraine from joining its ranks. However, the West ignored Russia’s concerns.

President Vladimir Putin announced a “special military operation” on February 24, with a stated goal to “demilitarize and denazify” the government in Kiev, ensuring that it no longer poses a threat to either Russia or the newly recognized Donbass republics, which have suffered seven years of grueling siege.

The US and its NATO allies have accused Russia of starting an “unprovoked”war to gobble up Ukraine. Moscow has seen thousands of harsh new curbs and sanctions slapped on it, with the US, EU and many other countries seeking to “isolate” and “destroy” the Russian economy.

“History has proven time and again that sanctions cannot solve problems,” Le said. “The sanctions against Russia are getting more and more outrageous… Sanctions will only harm ordinary people, impact the economic and financial system… and worsen the global economy.”

Beijing has come under increased Western pressure to distance itself and sever its trade ties with Moscow, after China abstained from backing the United Nations General Assembly resolution that condemned Russia’s military action in Ukraine, and chose to stay neutral alongside India, Pakistan, South Africa and 30 other countries.

In a video conference call with President Biden on Friday, China’s leader Xi Jinping stressed that Beijing has always stood “for peace and opposes war,”urging all the parties involved in the ongoing conflict between Moscow and Kiev to stick to diplomacy. Biden in response reportedly warned Xi that Beijing would face “consequences” should it provide material support or help Moscow evade Western sanctions.

US/NATO vs. Russia?

From my perspective, Russia is in the right on this. We have a family of 5 Ukrainian refugees staying with us and they are more or less pro-Russian. The horrors of the Nazis in Khakov they recount to me just re-affirm my belief. They are angry at Putin for NOT invading in 2014 when everyone in Ukraine was hoping for it. They felt abandoned and then horribly abused by the Nazi regime which got much worse after Zelensky came into power. Now their home was destroyed by the Ukrainians in downtown Kharkiv and they have left Ukraine forever and are heading to Spain. And yes, they are real bold-faced dyed in the wool Nazis. The US leadership’s support just shows who they are and probably always have been thus. Pelosi giving the Ukrainian Nazi salute in Congress is mind-blowing.

This brings into question another end game problem. I believe Russia will be forced to take the whole country and it will be easy once the majority is removed from battle. The way west will be unimpeded until they reach the area of Lviv and then they will systematically wipe out all Nazis. But the refugees, and it looks like a large majority leaving from west Ukraine are in fact non-Ukrainians including Indians, Africans, Middle East, etc. The ethnic Russians all went East which goes unmentioned. The Hungarians went into Hungary or Slovakia and the Nazis’ are heading into Poland. If they can manage a way to cross the border without being shot by the Ukrainian police for cowardice.

So, if Ukraine becomes split and I think this is the best solution with the Polish area hoping back to Poland, the Hungarian to Hungary, and the Romanian back to Romania which doesn’t leave too much if the country is divided down highway 95. Odessa and Mariupol will go the whatever is formed in the east but it won’t be called Ukraine. Kyiv is a big question and is a serious tar baby. So, what will be left to call Ukraine will be a tiny part west of highway 95 and east of the Polish, Hungarian, and Romanian (not to mention Moldova and Transnistria). They will have no big cities (unless Kyiv goes to them which would be a mistake) so can rule the countryside. Citizenship will be a big issue for everyone who left and from where they left from and what country that area becomes. Of course, the US will maintain the Zelensky regime as a government in exile and will try and block entry into the UN of the countries formed from the remains of Ukraine. It could end with the dissolution of the UN which is basically impotent anyway. The US breaking UN rules by denying visas for UN personnel is a symptom of why the US cannot host the UN any longer. So, maybe it is easier to form something new and leave the western nations out of it.

Russia and China both need to leave the IMF and World bank both conveniently located in Washington and very firmly under US control. They need to stop all trading in dollars everywhere that recognizes that the US crossed a line that cannot ever be redeemed by seizing Central Bank assets. No one will trust the US ever again permanently. Credibility like virginity once lost cannot ever be regained. The US is now definitely agreement incapable and absolutely untrustworthy.

One thing I have noticed is the US has slowly moved 100,000 soldiers into Europe. Most people are unaware that US forces are really quite small and even then have support to combat forces of 20:1. Meaning for everyone 20,000 soldiers there are only 1,000 gunfighters. The US depends on force multipliers like aviation to make it viable. Russia has effective anti-aircraft and aerospace forces near-peer enough to take on the NATO (US) and can easily negate their effect. Precision weapons to take out all runways and supply dumps negates the NATO ability to fight. They still organize as in WWII so easily defeated. Another thing is Russian weapons systems are designed for real combat by real men in harsh conditions. They are far simpler, more robust, repairable in the field, and can be managed by relatively unspecialized soldiers. Western stuff is delicate and requires a lot of training and specialization. Russian aircraft, as an example, all have screens to keep debris out of the engine intakes so can take off and land on damaged runways. If you look at USAF runways they must do a walk down the runway every day usually with 50 or so men to remove pebbles and small items which if ingested into the engines will destroy them. Russia doesn’t bother as it isn’t a factor at all. This is why a single cruise missile can take out a runway for days. It is like that for everything. MiA2 tanks use turbine engines and have zero user maintenance. They must be returned to depot maintenance for air filter changes etc. every 100 hours. They also consume massive amounts of JP4 which is more needed for aviation assets (and command HQ which runs turbine generators and requires 10,000 liters a day to operate) than tanks. My point is Russia designs and trains to fight actual peer adversaries. Additionally, without aviation dominance, the US cannot re-supply at all. If you examine where the S-500 batteries are located they cover all of Europe. This doesn’t even get into Russian jamming and EMP weapons which we haven’t seen much of yet.

An observation from reading the Russian intelligence reports on the 2003 Iraq invasion. (Stolzuntermensch’a site) All the things western analysts are saying the Russian army is going through reads like a recap of what the US/UK experienced in Iraq. It was a comedy of errors replete with running out of fuel, not having enough reserves because they just thought it would be a pleasant trip to Baghdad. The tanks didn’t work because it was sandy, the fancy imaging gear didn’t work because it was sandy, the air support they depended on couldn’t fly when it was sandy.

There were command demands that objectives be captured in a set time because of the schedule and perception. The whole thing almost failed miserably because it was poorly planned and poorly executed. The mighty US army was nearly beaten by Iraq after a decade of sanctions. The US finally “gave up” securing actual military victories, raced to the government buildings of Baghdad, took them and declared victory. While settling in for a long insurgency it is still losing.

It becomes clear that the US expectation was that Russia would act the same as the US and obviously suffer the same setbacks. That does not appear to be happening beyond the scale of all military operations not happening just as planned. NATO isn’t coming to save the day, it’s scared. It’s been 20 years since it almost got whipped by a force nothing like Russia and in an environment that should have given the US a massive advantage. In fact if not for limited Iraqi mobility on open ground against US air power, the US may well have lost.

Of particular note is an editorial that to fight the US, Russia would have to invest in air defenses and combining air defense with the Air Force was a terrible mistake. It does, however, look the Russian military took the advice to heart and concentrated on air defense systems over fighters.

Enter: Second Phase of Ukraine Wipe Out

The second phase of the military operation has begun. Russia first used hypersonic missile “Daggers” and began to destroy entire brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, now the fighting will be tougher

At today’s briefing of the Ministry of Defense, information was announced about the use of the Bastion and Dagger complexes as part of a special military operation. This is the first officially confirmed use of these types of weapons in a real conflict.

This fact, as well as the emerging information about the successful use of cruise missiles against the mercenary base near Lvov and the location of the 79th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Nikolaev, suggests that Russia, with a high degree of probability, has begun the second phase of the NMD. And now, unlike the first stage, the conduct of hostilities is built not on the classical concept of a large-scale offensive, but on the principles of “new generation” armed conflicts, when, instead of a ground offensive, priority is given to the use of long-range precision weapons and mobile special-purpose sabotage groups. Such an approach, although it will require more time for the complete demilitarization of Ukraine, will significantly reduce the possible losses of regular ground formations of the RF Armed Forces.

Thus, the military operation is increasingly beginning to look like a tough modern war by all the rules, which greatly frightens the Ukrainian leadership, which is increasingly turning to NATO with a request to create a no-fly zone. However, predictably, there is no talk of any no-fly zone.

More and more details on the results of the strike on a military base near Lviv

According to radio interception, losses among foreign mercenaries and special forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a result of a strike on a base near Lvov have already amounted to at least 267

According to 50-year-old Peter from Austria, who was a member of the “International Legion of Ukraine”, on the basis of the Yavoriv training ground, at the time of the strike of the Russian Aerospace Forces there were from 800 to a thousand foreigners.

The wounded are still being taken out – about 450/300 have been evacuated to Poland.

Many have burns to their faces and bodies, and some have their limbs torn off.

The number of missing people, who are under the rubble of the corps, in which there were American, Romanian and Polish mercenaries, is not yet completely known.

Arms deliveries worth $400 million have been completely destroyed.

Among the dead are a large number of officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and former NATO officers.

The authorities of Ukraine and the United States carefully hide the real scale of the losses, secretly raking up the consequences of a successful attack by the Russian Armed Forces.

After the incident, the enthusiasm of mercenaries from all over the world noticeably faded.

An Austrian mercenary said this about the strike on the Yavorovsky training ground: “These people will all die, no one will get out of here alive!”

In my German city people hoard sunflower oil at the moment, whether to use it as alternative fuel or for food prepairing is unknown to me, but either is obviously stupid. Furthermore, about the “solidarity with Ukraine”: in the last 30 neoliberal years, the concept of solidarity was at least suspicious of socialism and therefore barely mentioned – after all it doesn’t fit the neoliberal and social-darwinistic narrative of a society of competition. It got revived for covid, ridiculously, all the no-vaxxers were accused of being unsolidary. And now all of Germany “stands together with Ukraine in solidarity”. The last time I heard those words as often was back pre- 1989 in East Germany. Of course back then we stood together with the Soviet Union in Solidarity. Or Cuba. Or Nicaragua. How time changes…or maybe doesn’t.

Also, I’m pretty sure the situation in Germany is at least partly caused by “vorauseilendem Gehorsam” – which translates into anticipatory obedience. I don’t know if it’s a specific German trait, but it surely is quite prevalent here. Any small business knows about virtue signalling nowadays and wants to be first to show they belong to the right side. Bakeries selling cake in blue and yellow. It’s beyond ridiculous, it’s disgusting, but the absolut majority of them really don’t know any better. And as if the last century wasn’t enough – every day now I feel more ashamed for my country and people.

STEP 0: The genome, the complete genetic code of Covid19 is found here –https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/nuccore/NC_045512.2/ The genome of Bat Coronavirus RaTG13 is found here – https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/nuccore/MN996532

One can compare these two genomes, letter by letter using the BLAST Genome alignment comparison tool at https://blast.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/Blast.cgi?PAGE_TYPE=BlastSearch&BLAST_SPEC=blast2seq&LINK_LOC=align2seq

Just put NC_045512.2 in the Query Sequence Box and MN996532 in the Subject Sequence Box. Then choose the radio button:: More dissimilar sequences (discontinguous megablast). Then hit BLAST. Then when the results appear (a few second later) choose the Alignments tab and you will see both genomes compared perfectly. For the entire comparison see here

A is the base Adeninie
C is the base Cytosine
G is the base Gaumine
T is the base Thymine (not Thiamine which is a Vitamin added to Cornflakes)

The two genomes (full genetic codes) are 96% Identical. Here are all the differences…

There are 995 instances of a 1 letter mismatch
There are 24 instances of a 2 letter mismatch
There are 4 instances of a 3 letter mismatch
There are no further mismatches

There are 2 instances of a 1 letter omission at lines numbered 27341 and 29800.
There are 2 instances of a 2 letter omission at lines numbered 22981 and 23038
There are 2 instances of a 3 letter omission at lines numbered 3301 and 26504
There is one instance of a 12 letter omission at line numbered 23576
There are no further omissions.

Here are all the omissions –

And that is it. There are no further differences. The overall match is 28723 letters out of 29877(96%). The total numbers of gap letters is 24 (12+3+3+2+2+1+1).

Natural mutations normally occur one letter at a time. So to determine whether or not Covid19 is man made we just have to look at the 12 letter gap, which is way too large for a series of random mutations that just happened to occur right next to each other in a 29877 letter genome, and all in the 6 years between 2013 (when RatG13 was sequenced) and 2019 when Covid-19 appeared. So the extra 12 letters, the extra 12 bases, the extra 12 nucleotides (base + sugar + phosphate) were inserted from another genome, either by nature or by man.

Each 3 letter group (called a codon) codes for one amino acid. So the inserted group in whole codons is actually…

TCT CCT CGG CGG GCA which codes for SPRRA (Serine, Proline, aRginine, aRginine, Alanine).

But the Furin Cleavage Site is PRRAR which includes the next Codon CGT which also codes for aRginine (R).

So the only difference between Covid-19 and RaTG13 which involves more than 3 nucleotides (more than one complete 3 letter Codon) is the Furin Cleavage Site which involves 12 nucleotides and parts of 5 Codons (15 nucleotides).

STEP 1: Run a BLAST virus search https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/labs/virus/vssi/#/ to see if this sequence (TCTCCTCGGCGGGCA) occurs in any virus in nature other than Covid19. Answer: It does not.

Search also for CTCCTCGGCGGGCA – Answer: It does not occur in any natural virus.. One cannot search just for the 12 letters CCTCGGCGGGCA because the search must have 14 letters minimum for some reason.

Search also for CCTCGGCGGGCACGT which codes for PRRAR, the famous Furin Cleavage site, which gives Covid-19 its gain of function infectivity – Answer: It does not occur in any natural virus.

STEP 2: Run a Patent BLAST (Basic Local Alignment Search Tool https://blast.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/Blast.cgi choose ‘Blastn’ and make sure ‘align 2 or more sequences’ is unchecked and choose patent sequences) search of every patent application for the 14 nucleotide sequence CTCCTCGGCGGGCA which is the 12 nucleotide insert plus the rest of the final 3 letter codon, the next two letters. We have to do this because the BLAST searches need a minimum of 14 letters. You cannot do a BLAST search for 12 nucleotides. In the Algorithm Parameters section set max targets to 5000.

Here are the results…

So the 14 nucleotide gene sequence exists in humans, in cows, and in bacteria. And it has been used in yeast.

Patent monopolies last for 20 years. So some of these monopolies granted on a novel use of naturally occurring DNA from humans, cows and bacteria, expired before Covid19 came along. But it was actually the British who started isolating and using DNA containing the 14 base pair insert first – woops!

STEP 3: In order to make the sequence into a Furin cleavage site which gives the virus its infectivity, we must add the final Arginine codon CGT and get the 17 nucleotide sequence CTCCTCGGCGGGCACGT, which we call the double CGG coded furin cleavage site insert.

We now run a BLAST (Basic Local Alignment Search Tool https://blast.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/Blast.cgi choose ‘Blastn’ make sure ‘align 2 or more sequences’ is unchecked and choose patent sequences) of every patent application for the 17 nucleotide Furin Cleavage Site sequence CTCCTCGGCGGGCACGT. This patent is about manufacturing proteins containing the amino acid sequence APPA. Covid19 does contain that sequence but not in the spike protein, which has the furin cleavage site. The patent claims DNA similar to Patent gene sequences 2,3,4 and 5-13. Whereas the Furin Cleavage site occurs in Patent gene sequence 14. So it is incidental to the patent.

So Ecopia was the first to file a human therapeutic use of the double CCG Furin Cleavage site insert in the form of better Enediyne ring cancer torpedoes on 2002May21
Dow Agrisciences was the first to file a patent to use it in a plant virus in 2002August30
The University of Illinois was the first to file a patent for the use the double CGG Furin Cleavage Site insert in a human virus on 2011January21. But they were trying to make APPA containing proteins as antibiotics. The Furin Cleavage Site was incidental to their patent.
Moderna is the only other outfit to file a human use of the insert before 2019. They filed 5 patents using the insert from 2013December16 to 2016February4. They were the last 5 patents filed using it before Covid19 broke out in October 2019.

STEP 5: Run a BLAST (Basic Local Alignment Search Tool https://blast.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/Blast.cgi chose Blastn make sure ‘align 2 or more sequences’ is unchecked and chose all genomes and choose complete genomes) search of microbes for the 15 nucleotide Furin Cleavage Site sequence CCTCGGCGGGCACGT, which codes for PRRAR. It finds more than a thousand bacteria known to have this gene sequence! Myxococcus Xanthus has it 209 times!

So over a thousand bacteria have multiple copies of it. Humans have it. Cows have it. Plants have it. But no viruses have it at all except Covid19.

If nature was going to give it to viruses it would have done it by now, like it did with humans, like it did with cows, like it did with bacteria and like it did with plants..

Covid-19 was Man Made

The final codon completed inserted gene sequence CTCCTCGGCGGGCA does not exist in natural viruses and neither does the CGG coded Furin Cleavage site CCTCGGCGGGCACGT which codes for PRRAR. But they do exist naturally in bacteria and in humans and in cows and in plants. Viruses can invade bacteria and insert their genes into the them. But bacteria cannot insert their genes into viruses. So the only way for bacterial DNA to end up in a virus is by human intervention. So Covid19 must have been man made.

Profs Romeu and Olle

The Double CGG Codon used in the Moderna Specific Furin Cleavage site does not occur in any other Furin cleavage site in any other virus in nature. Furin cleavage sites do occur in other viruses but NOT at all in other betacoronaviruses like Covid-19 and NOT at all with the double CGG codon..

Arginine (R), can be encoded by any of the 6 triplets: AGG, AGA, CGA, CGC, CGG, CGT. In Covid-19, the furin site (PRRA), has 12 nucleotides (3 x 4). In Covid-19, the RR doublet of the furin site is encoded by CGG-CGG.

Two Biochemists Prof Antonio R. Romeu and Assistant Prof Enric Ollé analysed the RR doublet from a large sample of furin cleavage sites of several kinds of viruses. They found that there were no RR doublets encoded by the CGG-CGG codons in any virus in nature. They observed that the AGA triplet was the majority codon involved in these viral RR doublets. In all genetic recombination (where a part of one genome merges with another genome), the donor code is passed to the acceptor. But there is simply NO KNOWN VIRUS with a Moderna Specific Furin Cleavage Site (having the CGG-CGG codon pair) that exists to donate a Moderna Specific furin cleavage site to Covid19. So the only way that sequence could get into Covid-19 is from man.

But it gets worse.

The Spanish Profs decided to analyse the arginine codon usage in every single protein in Covid-19. The found the following…
AGG (13%)
AGA (45%)
CGA (5%)
CGC (10%)
CGG (3%)
CGT (24%).

So the AGA codon triplet was the majority, and interestingly, CGG was the minority codon for Arginine in the virus.

But it gets worse still.

In the specific case of S protein, of the 42 Arginines (R) it has, 20 are encoded by AGA, and only 2 by CGG. These 2 of course, are the two in the Moderna Specific Furin Cleavage Site.

So the only Arginine in the spike protein that is encoded a la Moderna are in the Furin Cleavage site. The other 40 instances do not use CGG at all.

They then go on to comment that each individual species in nature has its own codon preferences. Obviously viruses like AGA, and do not like CGG at all, in nature.

But guess which species does use CGG for Arginine more than the other 5 competing codons – yes its jolly old homo sapiens. Our coding preferences for Arginine are

AGG (20%)
AGA (20%)
CGA (11%)
CGC (19%)
CGG (21%)
CGT (9%).

So the CGG codon in the furin cleavage site WILL have come about through Chimeric (human animal combination) gain of function research.

Was it Moderna or Someone else?

From our exhaustive patent searches we see that only Moderna and the University of Illinois and Ecopia Biosciences Inc were involved in human virus research using the double CGG Furin cleavage site. The University of Illinois was interested in the sequence APPA not PRRAR and they did not claim anything from the genome containing the double CGG coded PRRAR sequence.

Ecopia Biosciences was making Enediyne rings which are not proteins, but are cancer torpedoes which can be delivered by viruses . Whereas we know the Moderna’s research led to their mRNA vaccines against Covid19. So they are the only candidate doing research in precisely the right area. They filed their first patent containing the double CGG coded Furin Cleavage site on 2013December16 and they filed the last 5 patents citing the double CGG insert before the Covid19 pandemic began.

Furthermore of all the patents citing the insert, only the Moderna Patents match the entire 19 nucleotide sequence CTCCTCGGCGGGCACGTAG in Covid19. No other patents filed before Covid19 arrived have the entire 19 letter sequence.

Moderna cite 7 patents on their website at https://www.modernatx.com/patents for their gene therapy mRNA-1273 (amino acid chain) vaccine…

US 10,064,959 filed April 21 2017
US 9,868,692 filed July 27, 2017

The 2nd patent, filed on February 28 2020 was a continuation of an earlier patent application number 16/368,270 which was filed on March 28, 2019

So they had all 7 patents applied for by June12, 2019, which is quite impressive given that the WHO was only informed of a pneumonia type outbreak in Wuhan on December 31, 2019.

So all the patents needed to protect Moderna’s particular vaccine monopoly were applied for 4 months before the outbreak of the disease that the vaccine is supposed to be curing.

Nature has had certainly 100,000 years to make human viruses and it never once put a double CGG furin cleavage site into any virus. Yet within 6 years of Moderna referring to it in their patents, we find it in Covid-19 in circumstances where Moderna is working on a vaccine for that virus. So just there the probability is not 100,000 to 6 or 16,666 to 1 that Moderna is responsible rather than nature. No it is 100% because nature has not done it in a virus. It never has and there is no evidence that it ever will.

It is man that mixes up human and viral Arginine codons not nature.

US 10,703,789 Here is what the patent claims: Claim1: A pharmaceutical composition comprising:
a plurality of lipid nanoparticles comprising a cationic lipid, a neutral lipid, a cholesterol, and a PEG (polyethylene glycol) lipid, wherein the plurality of lipid nanoparticles has a mean particle size of between 80 nm and 160 nm; and wherein the lipid nanoparticles comprise an mRNA encoding a polypeptide, wherein the mRNA comprises:
(i) at least one 5′-cap structure;
(ii) a 5′-UTR (UnTranslated Region);
(iii) an open reading frame encoding the polypeptide and consisting of nucleotides including N1-methyl-pseudouridine (fake Uracil), cytosine, adenine, and guanine;
(iv) a 3′-UTR; and
(v) a poly-A region of least 100 nucleotides in length.

Claim1 is basically the finished vaccine. So in October 2019, just 4 months after 2019June12 when they got the N1 Methyl Pseudouridine (fake Uracil) patent filed, 10 hospitals in Wuhan had Coronavrius cases according to Glenn Beck’s documentary.

“We do know just about 12 months later in Wuhan – where Peter Daszak, Dr. Shi, the bat lady, and Dr Baric were all doing research on coronaviruses – about a year later, there’s an outbreak, and the outbreak actually begins according to documents that we have that have been smuggled out of China that there were 10 hospitals involved by October with patients that were now, we now know, are corona-like virus symptoms. They didn’t know what was going on. Now, that was in October”. – Glenn Beck – https://thelibertydaily.com/glenn-beck-drops-bombshells-on-tucker-nih-claims-joint-ownership-of-moderna-vaxx-started-working-on-it-long-before-pandemic/

So the writer can confirm, and the reader can confirm using the links above, that Moderna did apply for a Patent on the reverse compliment of the double CGG coded 15 nucleotide Furin Cleavage Site in Covid-19 and actually on the 19 nucleotide sequence containing it as described above. Furthermore they did not merely apply for a patent on 2016 February 4 with US9587003B2: as reported in the Daily Mail. They actually applied on 2013 December 16 for 4 patents with US9149506B2, US9216205B2, US9255129B2, US9301993B2:as well.

So Moderna had developed the 19 nucleotide gene sequence containing the Furin Cleavage Site which gives Covid19 its infectivity to humans by patented gain of function research as early as 2013, 6 years before the Wuhan outbreak took place. Not 3 as reported in the Mail and virally elsewhere. But the bat coronavirus RaTG13 from which Covid19 was derived was also discovered in 2013. Well, what a coincidence!

Covid Prophets?

The reason that the writer is so confident that Moderna or their agents made and leaked Covid-19 and the reason he called it as such at the start of the pandemic to almost as much ridicule as Prof Montagnier received (God bless him) is that the scriptures say in Matthew27, Mark15 and John19 that.

29 And they (the soldiers of the governor of verse 27) platted a crown of thorns and put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand; and they kneeled down before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!
30 And they spat upon him, and took the reed and smote him on the head. (Matthew 27 ASV)

May I therefore beg your indulgence whilst I interpret these words:

The US department of defence funded the gene splicing of the Coronavirus of Spike Proteins (Covid-19) through NIH and NIAID and DARPA which first infected Jesus, through his fiance, the New Covenant Saints, just after he became the secular King, Caesar to those saints, the antitypical Jews, those covenanted to be angelic sons of Jacob, those born again angelically.

We calculated that the malediction which prevented Jesus becoming Caesar to the saints ended in 2019Tishri15 (October17/18). Glenn Beck did a documentary showing that 10 hospitals in Wuhan took cases with Covid19 symptoms in October 2019. Yes Folks. Covid-19 is a proof that Jesus is now secular King over the saints, the antitypical Jews, the Jews by angelic salvation covenant, at the least.

But then the soldiers spat upon him. For that is how Covid19 is transferred, through small aerosol droplets exhaled out of the mouth. The soldiers deliberately spat upon him. It was not a SALIVA LEAK! They smote Jesus on the head because the saints are the head of the church and they caught Covid19 not by random chance infection but by a deliberate smiting with a read, a biological weapon, a deliberate weaponised attack. For more on this see here.

So what Prof Montagnier saw with his virology expertise, I saw with my theological expertise. Showing that whilst fact checkers and science are mutually exclusive, science and theology actually agree, when properly understood (and that is one big caveat). Prof M taught us that the vaccines cause the variants. Indeed basic virology forbids mass vaccination during a pandemic for that very reason. He said the the curve of deaths follows the curve of vaccinations. Mind you, paradoxically, if the vaccines caused Omicron, then they may have saved us from themselves!

The Time has Come to hold People and Organisations to Account

The Covid19 makers, the genetic vaccine makers. their funders and their promoters, which include almost every government and public sector and health service in the world, are therefore guilty of Genocide and crimes against humanity. They have pushed genetic rape and sickness and death onto half of the population of the world in order to enrich the pockets of Pharmaceutical Companies. Governments and Public sectors around the world have abandoned their health service regulation to billionaires and heartless profit drunk corporations

In the UK, all of the income tax we pay goes to the health service and all of its protocols are determined by its regulators and all of its regulators are controlled and funded by Big Pharma who seek to damage then manage our health for their profit.

So every penny we spend in income tax brings us one step closer to sickness, to death and to drug dependency.

So why did Prof Montagnier choose to spend the last years of his life proving that Covid-19 was man made and that the spike proteins, and therefore the vaccines, were an existential threat to the species? What did he have left to prove to himself or to anybody else at 87-89 having won the Nobel Prize for discovering the HIV virus?

He certainly did not do it to increase his reputation in the profession. No he was driven by the same passion that drove him to discover HIV. A passion to SAVE mankind from viruses and those who would engineer them to damage us. And why did he give up the ghost in February 2022? Because he knew that Omicron had the vaccines beat. His job was done by a greater virologist even than him. He could therefore rest in peace and go see some people who understood the magnitude of his contribution.

Covid-19 was not made in 2019. It was made from the 19 nucleotide Moderna specific chimeric (CGG for AGA) furin cleavage site which does not occur anywhere in nature.
And every Covid death and every Covid vaccine death is parked squarely on their doorstep waiting for justice.

But we shall not execute that justice fast enough and therefore the final plague upon mankind of Revelation 6:8, delivered by the 4th horseman of the apocalypse, which plague Bill Gates himself has prophesied, will arrive later this year (after War and after Famine, the 2nd and 3rd horsemen).

Wikipedia Disinformation

A certain professor from a UK Teaching Hospital wrote to me as follows

“You aught to read this from the Wikipedia article

Furin cleavage site
Some claims of bioengineering focus on the presence of two sequential cytosine-guanine-guanine (CGG) codons in the virus’ RNA, more precisely in the crucial furin cleavage site.[9][74] The CGG codon is one of several codons that translates into an arginine amino acid, and it is the least common arginine codon in human pathogenic betacoronaviruses.[105] Partially, this lack of CGG codons in human pathogenic coronaviruses is due to natural selection: B-cells in the human body recognize areas on virus genomes where C and G are next to each other (so-called CpG islands).[15][106] The CGG codon makes up 5% of the arginine codons in the SARS-CoV-1 genome, and it makes up 3% of the arginine codons in the SARS-CoV-2 genome.[9]

Proponents of an engineered virus, including journalist Nicholas Wade, claim that two such uncommon codons in a row are evidence for a laboratory experiment; because of the low chance of a CGG codon pair occurring in nature, and in contrast, the common usage of CGG codons for arginine in genetic engineering work.[9][74]

This has been disputed by scientists, who note that the CGG codon is also present (and even more frequent) in other coronaviruses, including MERS-CoV,[107] and that a codon being rare does not mean it cannot be present. In addition, the presence of the furin cleavage site, which is responsible for a significant increase in transmissibility, largely outweighs the disadvantageous immune responses from B-cells triggered by the genetic sequences which code for it.[106][15]

You are unlikely to gain support from people who are actually involved in genetic engineering and evolutionary studies like myself.

I will delete this thread and block your email after sending.

xxx – not easily taken in – xxxxx “

So I looked up the paper by the plurality of “scientists” as opposed to the singular “journalist” Nicholas Wade – reference 107. And wrote the following response and checked that his email server did accept my email…

Dear Prof XXX,

Thanks for your email. If you can prove my reasoning wrong I would be happy to write a correction in my next article.

I read the one reference cited in Wikipedia for MERS-CoV having the CGG Codon and that paper states explicitly and emphatically…

“All human coronaviruses analyzed in this study did not use two synonymous codons (CGC, CGG) for arginine as well as CCG for proline and UGA for stop codon at all. ” – https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7487440/

My argument is very simple.

No virus in nature uses the CGG codon for Arginine in a furin cleavage site. I did check that in the blast database. I did the search. Nothing came up.

Please therefore show me a naturally occurring virus (preferably one that appeared before Moderna appeared) with a furin cleavage site containing two CGG codons and you will defeat my argument.

I am afraid you were taken in XXX – not by me, but by Wikipedia !

Regards….

I got no response from the Professor. But strangely Wikipedia changed the reference number from 107 to 116 in the article above. Yet it still links to the same paper? So Wikipedia is falsely inferring that “scientists”, as opposed to one lone journalist, dispute that there is a low chance of double CGG occurring in nature, by noting that the CGG codon occurs in MERS citing a paper which explicitly declares that none of the human coronaviruses analysed within it used a double CGG codon, No true scientist can dispute the low chance of a sequence occurring in viruses by analysing viruses in which said sequence does not occur. Wikipedia is providing disinformation which just happens to protect the interests of pharmaceutical companies

But all of this is – dare I say it – academic. Because there are absolutely no viruses which have a CGG doublet in a Furin Cleavage site (PRRAR) except Covid-19 and except plant viruses which Dow Agroscience, Monsanto, or the like, have modified. And whether you are a journalist or a cell biologist or both (like myself) or neither, this article gives you the tools to check that FACT for yourself.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/labs/virus/vssi/#/ Search for CCTCGGCGGGCACGT which codes for PRRAR.

The Illegality of US Sanctions

us_sanctions

by John Helmer, Moscow

In 1487, when Edmund Duke of Edinburgh, aka the Black Adder, wanted to strike fear into the English royal court, and also the Spaniards, he called his valet to dress him in his Russian codpiece.

Do I need to tell the young girls and boys in charge of war in Washington, DC, just how big the Russian codpiece was back then? Are they so mesmerized by its size today they believe the law is on their side when they try to strike back? If so, girls and boys, you have an unsavoury surprise coming – and I’m not referring to what will happen if the codpiece comes off.

According to the ruling of the Supreme Court – that’s the highest court in the United Kingdom — last week’s attempt at sanctions on Bank Rossiya, and threats by the US Senate and White House of third-stage sanctions against other Russian banks and corporations, are likely to be ruled unlawful outside the US. If European companies of US corporations attempt to implement them – for example, Visa, Master Card, and Western Union — they are likely to face successful court challenges from London to Frankfurt. They will also trigger strike-outs, damages and penalties for any European government attempting to take orders from the US Treasury.

sumptionThe Supreme Court judgement was issued by a 9-judge panel last June, and written for the majority by Lord Justice Jonathan Sumption (right). The case was on appeal by the Iranian international bank, Bank Mellat, against Her Majesty’s Treasury. Backed by the UK parliament, the Treasury had imposed sanctions to stop the Iranian bank’s business. This was based on American allegations that the bank was assisting the Iranian nuclear programme.

The court said it didn’t doubt there was, as the British Government claimed, a “relevant risk” to the national interests of the UK if Iran was producing nuclear weapons. But the court judged there was no evidence to substantiate that Bank Mellat’s business posed such a risk; that the minority shareholding in the bank by the Iranian government added to the risk; or that sanctioning the bank by cutting off its UK and international business was lawful.

According to the majority of the Supreme Court, “the direction [for sanctions] was irrational in its incidence and disproportionate to any contribution which it could rationally be expected to make to its objective. I conclude that it was unlawful. ..I also consider that the Bank is entitled to succeed on the ground that it received no notice of the Treasury’s intention to make the direction, and therefore had no opportunity to make representations. The duty to give advance notice and an opportunity to be heard to a person against whom a draconian statutory power is to be exercised is one of the oldest principles of what would now be called public law.” – par 27-29.

All that remains in the UK now is for Bank Mellat to obtain a court assessment of the financial damage inflicted over the four years the British sanctions were in place, October 2009 to June 2013. That will be at least $100 million, and maybe, with costs, interest, and penalties, more than $200 million.

Again, according to Sumption, “the object of the direction, as the Treasury acknowledges, was to shut the Bank out of the UK financial sector, and that has been its effect. Before the direction, the Bank had a substantial international business, much of it international trade finance transacted through London. In the year to March 2009, it issued letters of credit with an aggregate value of about US$11 billion, of which about a quarter represents letters of credit in respect of business transacted through the United Kingdom. The Bank ‘s own estimate of its revenue losses is about US$25 million a year. In addition, the Bank has been prevented from drawing on 183 million euros of call and time deposits with its part-owned subsidiary in London. Important banking relationships have been lost to other banks.”

Across the Channel, the European Union (EU) has already ended sanctions against the Iranian bank. It is still attempting an appeal to the Court of Justice in Luxembourg to overturn the ruling of the General Court, which was issued on January 29, 2013.

pelikanovaThe EU’s General Court ruling was written by Czech Irena Pelikánová (right) on behalf of the chief judge, Küllike Jürimäe (Estonia), and Judge Marc van der Woude (The Netherlands).

They have ruled to accept the three submissions of the Iranian bank: “The first plea is a claim of an infringement of the obligation to state reasons, its rights of defence and its right to effective judicial protection. The second plea is a claim of a manifest error of assessment as regards the adoption of restrictive measures against it. The third plea is a claim of an infringement of its right to property and of the principle of proportionality.”

The court threw out every one of the arguments made by the EU, and decided its sanctions had been unlawful. “First, the Council infringed the applicant’s [Bank Mellat] rights of defence and its right to effective judicial protection in that it did not notify the applicant, in good time, of the proposal for the adoption of restrictive measures…Next, the Council did not… comply with the obligation to assess the relevance and the validity of the information and evidence against the applicant submitted to it, with the consequence that those measures are tainted by illegality. Lastly, the Council infringed the obligation to state reasons as regards the second, third, sixth and seventh reasons relied on against the applicant.”

The EU court also condemned the failure of the EU ministers to provide genuine evidence, but instead to issue “mere allegations”.

This summary of the issues now on appeal reveals just how much peril the EU is in if it follows Washington’s demands for sanctions against Russian individuals or institutions when they are, as the General Court has ruled in the Bank Mellat case, “contrary to the principles of proportionality, legal certainty, non-arbitrariness and the requirement that sanctions contain necessary legal safeguards.”

The US Treasury announced last week its reason for imposing sanctions on Bank Rossiya. “The following entity is being designated because it is controlled by, has acted for or on behalf of, or has provided material or other support to, senior Russian government officials. Bank Rossiya (ОАО АБ РОССИЯ) is the personal bank for senior officials of the Russian Federation. Bank Rossiya’s shareholders include members of Putin’s inner circle associated with the Ozero Dacha Cooperative, a housing community in which they live. Bank Rossiya is also controlled by [Yuriy] Kovalchuk, designated today. Bank Rossiya is ranked as the 17th largest bank in Russia with assets of approximately $10 billion, and it maintains numerous correspondent relationships with banks in the United States, Europe, and elsewhere. The bank reports providing a wide range of retail and corporate services, many of which relate to the oil, gas, and energy sectors.”

David CohenIntroducing the new sanctions order he had drafted, David Cohen, the Treasury’s Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence, claimed: “With its currency near an all-time low, its stock market down twenty percent this year and a marked rise in interest rates, Russia has already started to bear the economic costs of its unlawful effort to undermine Ukraine’s security, stability, and sovereignty. As President Obama has made clear, we will continue to impose costs in direct response to Russia’s provocative acts.”

Cohen took a university degree in law; clerked for a federal district judge; and spent 16 years in law firms. He claims his specialty was “sanctions compliance advice for a broad range of financial institutions including banks, broker-dealers, insurance companies, mutual funds and hedge funds.”

menendezFor the standard of reason, evidence, proportionality and due process already adopted in the courts of UK and Europe, Cohen is bound to have heard of the judgements in the Bank Mellat case. For the time being he’s ordering US corporations operating outside US jurisdiction to ignore them. Senator Robert Menendez, chairman of the US Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, is also a lawyer by profession, though recently he has specialized, according to reported FBI investigations, in helping his constituents and friends evade sanctions for their business activities.

In the draft of a fresh round of sanctions against Russia, which Menendez pushed through a committee vote last week, Section 9 of the Bill goes further than any other statute in US history in establishing the US President as Prosecutor-General and Chief Justice of a foreign country. Menendez’s Bill aims at “any official of the Government of the Russian Federation, or a close associate or family member of such an official, that the [US] President determines is responsible for, or complicit in, or responsible for ordering, controlling, or otherwise directing, acts of significant corruption in the Russian Federation, including the expropriation of private or public assets for personal gain, corruption related to government contracts or the extraction of natural resources, bribery, or the facilitation or transfer of the proceeds of corruption to foreign jurisdictions.”

Russia Presents New a evidence from US-Funded Biolabs in Ukraine

Pentagon-backed facilities made “biological weapons components” and tried to cover it up, Russian military says

Moscow believes that laboratories in Ukraine funded by the US military were making biological weapons components, but that local staff was being kept in the dark about their research, a senior Russian general said on Thursday.

Lieutenant-General Igor Kirillov, who commands the Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Protection Forces of Russia, presented documents and imagery showing why the military has come to such a conclusion.

“We believe that components of biological weapons were being made on the territory of Ukraine,” said Kirillov.

He noted that the documents he was presenting “have the signatures of real officials and are certified by the seals of organizations,” for those journalists and experts in the West doubting their veracity.

One document, dated March 6, 2015 confirms the “direct participation of the Pentagon in the financing of military biological projects in Ukraine,” Kirillov said. The US officially funded the projects through the Ukrainian Ministry of Health, according to the Agreement on Joint Biological Activities. However, the evidence shows that the real recipients of some $32 million in funds were Ukrainian Defense Ministry laboratories in Kiev, Odessa, Lvov and Kharkov.

These facilities were chosen by the US Department of Defense’s Threat Reduction Administration (DTRA), and the contractor Black and Veatch, to carry out the U-P-8 project, aimed at studying the pathogens of Crimea-Congo hemorrhagic fever, leptospirosis, and hantaviruses, Kirillov said, pointing to a slide with the Pentagon’s request.

“From our point of view, the interest of US military biologists is due to the fact that these pathogens have natural foci both in Ukraine and in Russia, and their use can be disguised as natural disease outbreaks,” the general said.

According to the evidence, the labs isolated three bacterial pathogens (causing plague, brucellosis and leptospirosis) and six families of viruses, including coronaviruses, all of which were drug-resistant and spread rapidly from animals to humans. A number of documents confirmed the samples taken in Ukraine to other countries – Georgia, Germany, and the UK.

Kirillov showed official documents confirming the transfer of 5,000 samples of blood serum taken from Ukrainian citizens to the Pentagon-backed Richard Lugar center in Tbilisi, Georgia. Another 773 biological assays were transferred to the UK, while an agreement was signed for the transfer of “unlimited quantities” of infectious materials to the Friedrich Loeffler Institute, Germany’s leading center for animal diseases.

However, the analysis of the obtained evidence suggests that Ukrainian specialists were not aware of the potential risks of transferring these materials, and may have been kept in the dark about the true goal of the ongoing research, Kirillov noted.

Documents from Project P-781, a study of ways of transmitting diseases to humans through bats, showed it was carried out by the Kharkov laboratory and the Lugar Center in Georgia, but Ukraine received most of the $1.6 million grant for the project. Kirillov said that “systematic” research in this area has been carried out since 2009, under the supervision of US specialists – referencing projects P-382, P-444 and P-568.

As one of the key people involved, Kirillov named the head of the DTRA office at the US Embassy in Kiev, Joanna Wintrol.

“Maybe she’s worth talking to, journalists?” he said.

Wintrol left Kiev in August 2020. In her parting interview, she insisted no US scientists worked in Ukrainian biolabs and accused Russia of spreading “false information” about the program.

Kirillov pointed to mass outbreaks of avian flu in Russia and the EU in 2021, causing billions in damages, while the Kharkov Institute of Veterinary Medicine was studying wild birds as transmission vectors and assessing conditions under which the spread could cause economic damage and food insecurity. Evidence now shows the institute collected strains of avian flu capable of jumping species, Kirillov said, calling for an international investigation into the matter.

Some of the documents at the Kherson laboratory appear to be missing and may have been destroyed, Kirillov said, suggesting it was related to the 2018 outbreak of a mosquito-borne parasitic disease in that region, and a possible cover-up.

Four cases of dirofilariasis were detected in February that year, which is not typical for mosquito life cycles, the general said. Pentagon representatives visited the local hospitals in April, collecting medical records and getting briefed on the epidemiological investigation. However, “no documentary evidence regarding this outbreak has been found in the Kherson laboratory,”leading the Russian military to believe that “the urgency of destroying such documentary evidence is explained by the desire to prevent access to them by Russian specialists.”

There was also an outbreak of drug-resistant tuberculosis in 2018, among the citizens of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, with 70 cases detected around the village of Pesky – on the frontline with Ukrainian troops – alone.

“This may indicate a deliberate infection, or an accidental leakage of the pathogen from one of the biological laboratories located on the territory of Ukraine,” Kirillov said.

The Russian general brought up the long history of US conducting banned biological research in other countries, noting as an example that in 2010 Washington apologized for syphilis experiments in Guatemala.

“We will continue to examine the evidence and inform the global community about the illegal activities of the Pentagon and other US government agencies in Ukraine,” Kirillov said.
