Fact-Check ‘Climate Hysteria’ of “Hottest Day Ever”?

Ed. Note: Let’s not forget the most important and simple argument against the Global Warming hoax. From about the year 900 through 1450, that’t just 500-1,000 years ago, Greenland was . . . green. The Vikings and the Welsh had a thriving agriculture there. They had open seas to routinely navigate to Vinland, what is today New England in the US. All of that flourishing civilization withered away though as the 1,000 year-long Winter set in. See Footprints of the Welsh Indians

Corporate media unleashed a barrage of headlines of climate doom, including “Era of global boiling has arrived” and “hottest month in the history of civilization” and “hottest day ever recorded.” These headlines were published in July, the typical peak of the Northern Hemisphere summer. Some of these wild claims were based on records from four decades ago, even though Earth has been around for billions of years.

CBS News wrote, “Earth sees third straight hottest day on record, though it’s unofficial: ‘Brutally hot.'” It’s crucial to note that CBS hedged itself with “unofficial,” meaning the data hasn’t been verified.

Records grab attention, and clearly, the climate alarmists in corporate media were pushing a ‘climate change’ agenda in a month with the warmest temperatures of the year: geniuses. As for the warmest ever, well, even the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration had questions about the climate math (Read: Even NOAA “Runs Away” From ‘Hottest Day Ever’ Claim After Media Hysteria).

July was hot, but it’s because of the peak Northern Hemisphere summer. The El Nino weather phenomenon may have contributed to some extra warmth. In terms of temperatures deviating excessively from a 30-year average, well, there’s not much of that, according to Bloomberg data.

If you weren’t able to visualize temperature data, the corporate media had people believing the world was on fire:

So how do climate alarmists know what the precise temperatures were hundreds of thousands of years ago? Well, it might be one giant guess, as environmental attorney Steve Milloy recently explained in a Wall Street Journal opinion piece titled “Hottest Days Ever? Don’t Believe It“:

“One obvious problem with the updated narrative is that there are no satellite data from 125,000 years ago. Calculated estimates of current temperatures can’t be fairly compared with guesses of global temperature from thousands of years ago.”

Remember when climate child warrior Greta spewed this junk science in 2018? Where were the fact-checkers??

But don’t worry. The billionaires funding the climate change movement are still flying in private jets and sailing around the world in mega-yachts while they rid the world of cow farts and force insects into the diets of the masses.

Int’l Terrorism? Whose Terrorism?

Michael Morell*: “The Iranians must pay for Syria and the Russians must pay..

Charles Rose: “What do you mean? Kill them?”

MM: “Well, yes. But covert killing. You don’t need to tell the world about it. The Pentagon doesn’t have to admit it. If only Moscow and Tehran knew about it.

I want to hit what Assad considers his stronghold. I want him to tremble with fear. Bomb his house at night. Destroy his guards, plane, helicopter. Let him see that we are following him. I am not campaigning for his murder, let him see that his stronghold is destroyed, and he needs to survive. Let him think it will end badly for him.

I want to put pressure on him, on the Iranians, on the Russians, to come to a diplomatic solution.”

Comments from Around the Water Cooler

Die schwarze Schmach (“the Black Disgrace”) was a German nationalist propaganda term for the African colonial troops deployed by France during its occupation of the Rhineland after 1918. From Wiki:The majority of colonial African soldiers were accused of committing rape and mutilation against the German population. The campaign reached its peak between 1920 and 1923, but did not stop until 1930. Adolf Hitler blamed Jews for bringing the Senegalese into the Rhineland.
Children of mixed parentage were known as “Rhineland Bastards”.

The parallels between 1937 Germany and the present USA situation is before all to see. You cannot unsee it. The level of dissatisfaction and abject hatred between the two political dynasties is starting to boil over. And the average American citizen is watching from the censored sidelines.
I have come to believe that the only way out of this situation is to allow the pending explosion. Do not fight the fire. Throw hi octane gasoline on the conflagration, stand back and watch.
Only then will the hidden perpetrating scum be visible.
If the U.S. is to survive as a republic with freedom for all we must excise these demons from our midst. That is the only way forward.

Can’t count the number of times I’ve been in some group of guys who go on and on about football stats, who should have been traded, who is good at what position, scores, upcoming games and so on. Most players these days are black so it’s rooting for one’s favorite negro. When it comes to something else though they’re all clueless and uninterested. Something like the Ukraine situation they know nothing about but act like they’re backing one team over another. They can’t be bothered to spend a half hour researching the subject before forming an opinion on something but simply parrot what they’ve heard on television. What can you do with this stupid population? They’re just what the elites want, malleable and conformist. People keep doing a geographic, moving around to get away from diversity and other ills of society but everybody is running out of space to run to. If the US collapses it would be a nightmare sci-fi scenario. It could never reconstitute itself seeing as it’s not a country but an economic empire. Take away the imperially supported economy and there’s nothing left but some disparate people with nothing in common.

I recently represented a man on disability for “his back.” Never mind that he weed eats, crawls under cars and can move a refrigerator. He gets $1200 a month as well as $190 per month in EBT (food stamps.)

I ask tons of questions and discover that his father, his brother, his ex- wife, her mother and a sister in law are ALL on disability. They are all white. They all appear that could bust a log over their leg like a twig. They take drugs, drink, fish, fight, and generally have the Life of Riley. They are not getting up in 20 degree weather and hustling to work. They are sleeping late and watching Magnum PI reruns in their dirty Lazy Boys.

So, making conversation waiting for his case to be called up in court, I said: I can’t believe I just paid $6 for a bag of corn chip. His reply? No commiseration or awareness: “I don’t look at prices.” He doesn’t have to acknowledge inflation. He lives in a busted out mobile home that is paid for and so do the other grifters.

Now add millions to that mindset. So here we are, the dumbos who keep working to pay for these leeches. Add in the blacks and the illegals we pay for- and it is demented.

So I ask you: Whose the dummy?

I’ve been criticizing White men for supporting professional “sports” for more than a few decades. I never watched that garbage…
Not only the “Negro Felon League” and the “Negro Basketball Association” but even that bastion of truly white skills, NASCAR has been infected with “woke” ideology. When (((they))) banned the “Stars and Bars” flag, a part of their history, NASCAR sealed its fate, along with the promotion of substandard affirmative action” negro driver “bubba” wallace complaining about “racist” garage door pulls, NASCARs fate was set. To add insult to injury, recently “bubba” wallace’s violent tendencies were on full display.
Let’s not forget the billions spent by White male “sports fans” on negro ball jerseys, caps and other “trinkets”, overpriced game tickets and taxpayer-subsidized stadiums (playpens), all to benefit the (((owners))) of the criminal steroid-addled costumed players who are paid millions of dollars to play children’s games.
“Bread and circuses” which are provided to “quell the masses” are just as successful now as they were in ancient times…
It is disgusting to see White men spout off useless and meaningless sports statistics and the adulation that they give these costumed players (actors). It is just sickening to see White men debase themselves.
I realize that negro ball is “entertainment for the masses” and do look down derisively on grown White men who sport their favorite negro ball players clothing or other accouterments. I think to myself: “don’t you have anything better to do?”
There are much better things for white men to do than watch negro ball sports.
Build something…repair something…study philosophy or technical journals on something that interests you, make something better, improve yourself and your standard of living and devices…use your wisdom and knowledge to get your fellow Whites to THINK for themselves, not what to think, but HOW to think and to not just accept the pablum, lies and falsehoods of the mainstream media and useless professional sports.
Message to White men: Get away from the negro ball. You are much better than that…

If “we” Whites are truly that dense collectively, then I’m not sure that we’re worth preserving at all. Truth be told, we White people are ultimately responsible for our own demise simply because we DON’T have the innate common sense to defend ourselves or preserve our racial identity. This probably serves as a partial explanation for why imprisoned Whites not only don’t band together to defend themselves from $#!+skinned sexual predators, but also why the White supremacists behind bars don’t do so, either. They are the minority of Whites who are racially conscientious and have come to justifiably despise those Whites who are not.

Putting it more succinctly, if Whites don’t band together and stand up for themselves now, why would anyone think they’ll do so at any point in the future? The reality is that we will all continue to act as “lone wolves” in the face of adversity and will be defeated because of our failure to unite. Embedded programming doesn’t change.

Alexander Dugin Sums Up the Ukrainian Syndrome

Philosopher Alexander Dugin (he can’t travel to any Western country!) talks about the way Ukraine was handed everything on a silver platter and still managed to mess up.

He is more tactful considering his personal tragedy, where a Ukrainian assassin murdered his only child.

All Ukrainian lands were gifted by Russia – but the younger generations were educated to despise everything Russian.

Postscript to the Ukraine peace gathering in Jeddah

by Gilbert Doctorow

As I anticipated, the BBC reported briefly this morning that the gathering in Jeddah over the weekend to discuss Ukrainian proposals for peace ended without any concrete results. This did not prevent today’s edition of The Financial Times from calling it a success because of the attendance by China and China’s affirmation that it will participate in such discussions in the future. I further expect that the same kind of Big Lie claim of victory in what is in reality a blatant defeat will be attempted by the United States and its allies when the Russians recapture Kharkov, the Ukraine’s second largest city, and snatch up the whole of the remaining Ukrainian coastline on the Black Sea by overrunning Nikolayev and Odessa. This could come in as little as a couple of months from now, given the near destruction of Ukrainian strategic reserves these past couple of months and plans of the Kremlin to go on the offensive once the Ukrainian counter-offensive abates and before the onset of the rainy season in autumn, which works against large scale military operations.

What rabbits will Jake Sullivan, Blinken and his colleagues at the State Department try to pull out of a hat then? What will happen then is also now taking shape. The Poles, with U.S. encouragement, will move into Lvov and Western Ukraine in what is called a defensive deployment of peacekeepers to prevent further Russian aggression and the United States will say that it has preserved Ukrainian sovereignty in the face of overwhelming Russian military force and the incompetence of Zelensky and his generals. We may safely assume that Zelensky will have been physically ‘neutralized’ by that point to avoid his whining about U.S. treachery to the global press.

The problem for the Biden administration is that it will put forward these transparently phony claims of victory in the midst of the 2024 presidential campaign, when its Big Lie will come under fierce attack from the Republicans Donald Trump and Ron Desantis on the one hand and on the other hand from Robert F. Kennedy in the Democratic camp.

Meanwhile, as regards the costs to the EU Member States of their foolhardy subordination to Washington on sanctioning Russia, we can thank The Financial Timesfor its article today putting figures on the losses booked by energy companies, banks and other major businesses which sold their Russian operations under fire sale conditions or have seen them confiscated by the Russian state as compensation for Western seizures of Russian state and private assets in the EU. In the best of circumstances, they retained title but have been required to report the assets they still own as ‘impaired’ for accounting purposes since no dividends or principal can be transferred abroad. The number offered by the FT is over 100 billion euros in losses. Add to that the economic losses to the general population in the EU due to vastly inflated energy costs following the turn away from Russian hydrocarbons. The FT says nothing about that, but I would guess it exceeded 200 billion euros if we take only the publicly reported ameliorative measures of Germany and several other EU countries to compensate individuals and companies for the energy price shock.

The net result of these Western losses approaches the Russian financial losses in Europe and America. So where is the Western ‘win’ in its ‘sanctions from hell’ applied to Russia?

Former Samsung executive Yang Hyang-ja urges US to abandon China chip strategy

The US’ strategy to curb Chinese semiconductor industry, including attempts to persuade Asian allies to introduce restrictions against China, could lead to the disruption of supply chains and other countries forming alliances against the US, a South Korean lawmaker and former Samsung executive, Yang Hyang-ja said on Sunday.

“If [Washington] continues to try to punish other nations and to pass bills and implement ‘America First’ policies in an unpredictable manner, other countries could form an alliance against the US,” Yang said in an interview with British business daily, the Financial Times.

An influential South Korean legislator has strongly criticised Washington’s interventions in the global semiconductor industry, in a sign of the disquiet in Seoul over US efforts to corral Asian allies into its economic security agenda. Yang Hyang-ja, a former chip engineer and Samsung executive who chaired a ruling party committee on South Korea’s semiconductor competitiveness until early this year, said that measures to curb China’s ability to access or produce advanced chips risked damaging relations with its Asian allies.

“If [Washington] continues to try to punish other nations and to pass bills and implement ‘America First’ policies in an unpredictable manner, other countries could form an alliance against the US,” Yang told the Financial Times in an interview.

“The US is the strongest nation in the world,” she added. “It should consider more of humanity’s common values. Appearing to use its strength as a weapon is not desirable.” The US has passed legislation offering tens of billions of dollars in subsidies to non-Chinese chipmakers to increase semiconductor production in the US, in exchange for restrictions on their ability to upgrade or expand their facilities in China.

The Biden administration has also imposed sweeping export controls on critical chip manufacturing tools to China and prohibited US nationals and companies from offering direct or indirect support to Chinese companies involved in advanced chip manufacturing.

But there are concerns in Seoul that the US measures will provoke a backlash from Beijing, disrupting finely calibrated supply chains and threatening profits.

Lee Jae-myung, the leader of South Korea’s leftwing opposition Democratic party, has accused the conservative government of harming the country’s economic and security interests by siding too closely with the US and Japan against China and Russia.

Yang, a former Democratic party member who formed her own technocratic party, Hope of Korea, in June, acknowledged that “US tech war measures are not harming our semiconductor industry yet because sanctions against China could actually reduce output, leading to higher prices”. But she added: “The more the US sanctions China, the harder China will try to make rapid technological progress. China will provide more national support for the goal. Then it will pose a crisis to South Korea, given China’s abundant talent and raw materials.”

“The US should abandon its current approach of trying to get something out of shaking and breaking the global value chain,” she said. Yang added that the US had benefited from South Korean and Taiwanese expertise in manufacturing memory and processor chips respectively, saying it was “trying to demolish the status quo through sanctions”.

Many analysts said the US measures actually helped South Korean chipmakers by hampering the progress of their Chinese competitors. The biggest long-term threat to South Korea’s semiconductor industry, they said, was not supply chain disruption but the rise of state-backed Chinese rivals such as YMTC, which has made rapid progress in closing the technological gap with leading Korean chipmakers in the Nand flash-memory sector.

Troy Stangarone, senior director at the Korea Economic Institute of America, notes that US tech giant Apple had considered using YMTC’s Nand flash-memory chips for the current iPhone 14, until political pressure from US lawmakers forced it to abandon the option. “The Apple-YMTC episode demonstrated both how far the Chinese have come in the Nand memory sector, and how Korean companies have benefited from US intervention,” said Stangarone.

The FT has also reported that US export controls helped thwart an alleged attempt by a renowned South Korean semiconductor expert to build a “copycat” memory chip plant in China. According to Korean prosecutors, the plant “would have caused irrecoverable losses to the [Korean] semiconductor industry”.

Yang accepted that the US-China tech war had bought South Korea time to develop its own technologies but added that the country’s semiconductor industry was in a “very precarious situation”. The lawmaker, who was instrumental in passing the K-Chips Act this year to boost tax credits for companies investing in chip manufacturing in South Korea, said the country had to address what she described as neglect of its own engineering talent.

“In Taiwan, technicians get treated better than lawyers and judges. But in Korea, they are not treated well,” said Yang, who is also a member of a cross-party committee on cutting-edge technologies.

“Smart Korean students want to become doctors, dentists or oriental medicine practitioners rather than to become engineers,” she said. “Only technology can set us free from all these geopolitical problems.”

Ukraine – Breaking News by Russia!

via Sergei Markov

Sensational interview with Dmitry Peskov New York Times. Dmitry Peskov said that Russia does not seek to control any territories of Ukraine, except for those that have already become part of Russia.

This is the first clear statement from which it will be concluded that Russia does not seek to liberate such many centuries of Russian cities as Odessa, Kharkov, Nikolaev, Dnieper by incorporating into Russia.

This statement by Peskov will have huge political implications. First of all, the attitude towards Russia in these cities will change. What is the point of Odessa and Kharkov supporting Russia if Odessa and Kharkov are definitely not in Russia?

However, some argue that there is no support for Russia in Odessa and Kharkov, but only hatred for Russia.

In addition, this can lead to dramatic changes in the political position of the active patriotic part of Russian society and oppose it to the political leadership. After all, they are actively fighting not for Kherson or Kramatorsk, but for Novorossiya.1

But this will be perceived very positively in the world as Russia’s readiness for peace talks in the near future from a “realistic position.”

How Far Will the NATO Allies Go to Fight Their Losing War in the Ukraine?

by John Helmer, Moscow
@bears_with

When the Ukrainian and NATO forces have lost their war in eastern Ukraine by Christmas, what will happen to the rump of western Ukraine?

The Russian warning, issued last Friday at the Security Council by President Vladimir Putin, is that the Russian Army will defend western Ukraine, known as Galicia, from any attempt at intervention by Polish forces under either a NATO “peacekeeping” formula, or a bilateral defence arrangement between the Kiev regime and Warsaw to slip Galicia under NATO Article Five protection.

Putin’s warning was concrete, explicit, geographically limited. It applied to the current western borders of the Ukraine, the eastern border of Poland, and the Polish-Belarus border. “I would also like to remind you what Poland’s aggressive policy led to. It led to the national tragedy of 1939, when Poland’s Western allies threw it to the German wolf, the German military machine. Poland actually lost its independence and statehood, which were only restored thanks in a large measure to the Soviet Union. It was also thanks to the Soviet Union and thanks to Stalin’s position that Poland acquired substantial territory in the west, German territory. It is a fact that Poland’s western lands are a gift from Stalin. Have our Warsaw friends forgotten this? We will remind them.”

The Warsaw friends weren’t the only audience Putin intended. His warning is also addressed to the Berlin friends, the Baltic friends, the Paris, Brussels, and Budapest friends, and of course, the Washington friends. In December 2021, they were offered the terms of mutual security and non-aggression in Europe in treaties for the US and NATO tabled by the Russian Foreign Ministry. They were dismissed in diplomatic negotiations lasting less than a month.

By Christmas of this year, as Putin has just pointed out, the Ukrainian army and the NATO forces will have expended their capacities to continue the fight. “The whole world sees that the vaunted Western, supposedly invulnerable, military equipment is on fire”, he added. What can happen next is “an extremely dangerous game, and the authors of such plans should think about the consequences.”

This is a warning that if the Poles move east, the Germans will be motivated to move east as well, in order to recover the Prussian territories Germany lost in its defeat and capitulation at the end of World War II. Hungary too will be motivated to change its northeastern border in order to rescue the ethnic Hungarian population of Transcarpathia in southwest Ukraine.

In short, Putin was announcing that “Stalin’s gift”, as he called it, was the stability of the post-1945 territorial settlement. Now, in defeating NATO’s attempt to destroy the Russians east of Kiev, the Russians are warning afresh that if NATO attempts to change its defence lines west of Kiev, the Russian army will dictate an entirely new territorial settlement in which NATO will be an even bigger loser of military capacity and territorial extension than the non-aggression treaties of December 17, 2021, offered.

To visualise the geography in the discussion, here is a map of the post-World War II territorial settlement between Germany and Poland.

Here is a newly published Russian analysis of how the Putin warning should be interpreted, both historically and strategically, between the Dnieper and the Oder-Niesse lines.

France’s Colonial Spoil Extracting Predation

Source

In the last half-century, 67 military coups have occurred in 26 countries on the African continent, instigated by France. Among these, 16 countries still maintain French influence.

There exists a “colonial tax” in 14 African countries, which were formerly French colonies, resulting in substantial annual payments to France, amounting to around $500 billion.

These countries were under French oppression until 1958, after which they gained independence. However, nations such as Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Guinea, Mali, Niger, Senegal, Togo, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, and Gabon are still burdened with paying colonial taxes.

These 14 countries have a combined population of 174 million and a nominal total GDP of $196 billion, with a PPP GDP of $411 billion.

Formally, France has halted its colonization policy, but its economic colonization of these African states persists. A portion of the colonies’ budget continues to flow to the French central bank under various names and categories.

This process allows France to appropriate approximately 85 per cent of the former colonies’ annual income. As a result, African countries face financial difficulties, and they are forced to borrow back their own money from the French central bank as debts.

To reclaim their funds, African countries are limited to applying for no more than 20 per cent of the transferred amount. If they seek a larger sum, the former colonizer has the authority to veto it. France argues that it is merely repaying the money it spent on buildings and infrastructure constructed over a century ago.

Any refusal by an African ruler to pay the colonial tax often leads to a coup.

This was the case prior to the arrival of Russian forces, particularly the PMC Wagner. Now, the dynamics may change.
