The Pentagon Is Recruiting Elon Musk to Help Them Win a Nuclear War

Algora Ed. Note: What kind of new world peace are we contemplating under Trump’s “revolutionary” changes? Is this the beginning of the “thousand years peace”? Or just another detente as so many in last 150 years, only to be followed by more wars? Why have Musk involved in the technological weapons development if peace is at the door?

Donald Trump has announced his intention to build a gigantic anti-ballistic missile system to counter Chinese and Russian nuclear weapons, and he is recruiting Elon Musk to help him. The Pentagon has long dreamed of constructing an American “Iron Dome.” The technology is couched in the defense language – i.e., to make America safe again. But like its Israeli counterpart, it would function as an offensive weapon, giving the United States the ability to launch nuclear attacks anywhere in the world without having to worry about the consequences of a similar response. This power could upend the fragile peace maintained by decades of mutually assured destruction, a doctrine that has underpinned global stability since the 1940s.

A New Global Arms Race

Washington’s war planners have long salivated at the thought of winning a nuclear confrontation and have sought the ability to do so for decades. Some believe that they have found a solution and a savior in the South African-born billionaire and his technology.

Neoconservative think tank the Heritage Foundation published a video last year stating that Musk might have “solved the nuclear threat coming from China.” It claimed that Starlink satellites from his SpaceX company could be easily modified to carry weapons that could shoot down incoming rockets. As they explain:

Elon Musk has proven that you can put microsatellites into orbit, for $1 million apiece. Using that same technology, we can put 1,000 microsatellites in continuous orbit around the Earth, that can track, engage and shoot down, using tungsten slugs, missiles that are launched from North Korea, Iran, Russia, and China.”

Although the Heritage Foundation advises using tungsten slugs (i.e., bullets) as interceptors, hypersonic missiles have been opted for instead. To this end, a new organization, the Castelion Company, was established in 2023.

Castelion is a SpaceX cutout; six of the seven members of its leadership team and two of its four senior advisors are ex-senior SpaceX employees. The other two advisors are former high officials from the Central Intelligence Agency, including Mike Griffin, Musk’s longtime friend, mentor, and partner.

Castelion’s mission, in its own words, is to be at the cutting edge of a new global arms race. As the company explains:

Despite the U.S. annual defense budget exceeding those of the next ten biggest spenders combined, there’s irrefutable evidence that authoritarian regimes are taking the lead in key military technologies like hypersonic weapons. Simply put – this cannot be allowed to happen.”

The company has already secured gigantic contracts with the U.S. military, and reports suggest that it has made significant strides toward its hypersonic missile goals.

War and Peace

Castelion’s slogan is “Peace Through Deterrence.” But in reality, the U.S. achieving a breakthrough in hypersonic missile technology would rupture the fragile nuclear peace that has existed for over 70 years and usher in a new era where Washington would have the ability to use whatever weapons it wished, anywhere in the world at any time, safe in the knowledge that it would be impervious to a nuclear response from any other nation.

In short, the fear of a nuclear retaliation from Russia or China has been one of the few forces moderating U.S. aggression throughout the world. If this is lost, the United States would have free rein to turn entire countries – or even regions of the planet – into vapor. This would, in turn, hand it the power to terrorize the world and impose whatever economic and political system anywhere it wishes.

If this sounds fanciful, this “Nuclear Blackmail” was a more-or-less official policy of successive American administrations in the 1940s and 1950s. The United States remains the only country ever to drop an atomic bomb in anger, doing so twice in 1945 against a Japanese foe that was already defeated and was attempting to surrender.

President Truman ordered the destruction of Hiroshima and Nagasaki as a show of force, primarily to the Soviet Union. Many in the U.S. government wished to use the atomic bomb on the U.S.S.R. President Truman immediately, however, reasoned that if America nuked Moscow, the Red Army would invade Europe as a response.

As such, he decided to wait until the U.S. had enough warheads to completely destroy the Soviet Union and its military. War planners calculated this figure at around 400, and to that end—totaling a nation representing one-sixth of the world’s landmass—the president ordered the immediate ramping up of production.

This decision was met with stiff opposition among the American scientific community, and it is widely believed that Manhattan Project scientists, including Robert J. Oppenheimer himself, passed nuclear secrets to Moscow in an effort to speed up their nuclear project and develop a deterrent to halt this doomsday scenario.

In the end, the Soviet Union was able to successfully develop a nuclear weapon before the U.S. was able to produce hundreds. Thus, the idea of wiping the U.S.S.R. from the face of the Earth was shelved. Incidentally, it is now understood that the effects of dropping hundreds of nuclear weapons simultaneously would likely have sparkedvast firestorms across Russia, resulting in the emission of enough smoke to choke the Earth’s atmosphere, block out the sun’s rays for a decade, and end organized human life on the planet.

With the Russian nuclear window closing by 1949, the U.S. turned its nuclear arsenal on the nascent People’s Republic of China.

The U.S. invaded China in 1945, occupying parts of it for four years until Communist forces under Mao Zedong forced both them and their Nationalist KMT allies from the country. During the Korean War, some of the most powerful voices in Washington advocated dropping nuclear weapons on the 12 largest Chinese cities in response to China entering the fray. Indeed, both Truman and his successor, Dwight D. Eisenhower, publicly used the threat of the atomic bomb as a negotiating tactic.

Routed on the mainland, the U.S.-backed KMT fled to Taiwan, establishing a one-party state. In 1958, the U.S. also came close to dropping the bomb on China to protect its ally’s new regime over control of the disputed island – an episode of history that resonates with the present-day conflict over Taiwan.

However, by 1964, China had developed its own nuclear warhead, effectively ending U.S. pretensions and helping to usher in the détente era of good relations between the two powers—an epoch that lasted well into the 21st century.

In short, then, it is only the existence of a credible deterrent that tempers Washington’s actions around the world. Since the end of the Second World War, the United States has only attacked relatively defenseless countries. The reason the North Korean government remains in place, but those of Libya, Iraq, Syria, and others do not, is the existence of the former’s large-scale conventional and nuclear forces. Developing an American Iron Dome could upset this delicate balance and usher in a new age of U.S. military dominance.

Nuking Japan? OK. Nuking Mars? Even Better!

Musk, however, has downplayed both the probability and the consequences of nuclear war. On The Lex Friedman Podcast, he described the likelihood of a terminal confrontation as “quite low.” And while speaking with Trump last year, he claimedthat nuclear holocaust is “not as scary as people think,” noting that “Hiroshima and Nagasaki were bombed, but now they are full cities again.” President Trump agreed.

According to the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons, there are over 12,000 warheads in the world, the vast majority of them owned by Russia and the United States. While many consider them a blight on humanity and favor their complete eradication, Musk advocates building thousands more, sending them into space, and firing them at Mars.

Musk’s quixotic plan is to terraform the Red Planet by firing at least 10,000 nuclear missiles at it. The heat generated by the bombs would melt its polar ice caps, releasing carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. The rapid greenhouse effect triggered, the theory goes, would raise Mars’ temperatures (and air pressure) to the point of supporting human life.

Few scientists have endorsed this idea. Indeed, Dmitry Rogozin, then-head of Russian state space agency Roscosmos, labeled the theory completely absurd and nothing more than a cover for filling space with American nuclear weapons aimed at Russia, China, and other nations, drawing Washington’s ire.

“We understand that one thing is hidden behind this demagogy: This is a cover for the launch of nuclear weapons into space,” he said. “We see such attempts, we consider them unacceptable, and we will hinder this to the greatest extent possible,” he added.

The first Trump administration’s actions, including withdrawing from multiple international anti-ballistic missile treaties, have made this process more difficult.

Elon and the Military-Industrial-Complex

Until he entered the Trump White House, many still perceived Musk as a radical tech industry outsider. Yet this was never the case. From virtually the beginning of his career, Musk’s path has been shaped by his exceptionally close relationship with the U.S. national security state, particularly with Mike Griffin of the CIA.

From 2002 to 2005, Griffin led In-Q-Tel, the CIA’s venture capitalist wing. In-Q-Tel is an organization dedicated to identifying, nurturing, and working with tech companies that can provide Washington with cutting-edge technologies, keeping it one step ahead of its competition.

Griffin was an early believer in Musk. In February 2002, he accompanied Musk to Russia, where the pair attempted to purchase cut-price intercontinental ballistic missiles to start SpaceX. Griffin spoke up for Musk in government meetings, backing him as a potential “Henry Ford” of the tech and military-industrial complex.

After In-Q-Tel, Griffin became the chief administrator of NASA. In 2018, President Trump appointed him the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering. While at NASA, Griffin brought Musk in for meetings and secured SpaceX’s big break. In 2006, NASA awarded the company a $396 million rocket development contract – a remarkable “gamble,” in Griffin’s words, especially as it had never launched a rocket. National Geographic wrote that SpaceX “never would have gotten to where it is today without NASA.” And Griffin was essential to this development. Still, by 2008, both SpaceX and Tesla Motors were in dire straits, with Musk unable to make payroll and assuming both businesses would go bankrupt. It was at that point that SpaceX was saved by an unexpected $1.6 billion NASA contract for commercial cargo services.

Today, the pair remain extremely close, with Griffin serving as an official advisor to Castelion. A sign of just how strong this relationship is that, in 2004, Musk named his son “Griffin” after his CIA handler.

Today, SpaceX is a powerhouse, with yearly revenues in the tens of billions and a valuation of $350 billion. But that wealth comes largely from orders from Washington. Indeed, there are few customers for rockets other than the military or the various three-letter spying agencies.

In 2018, SpaceX won a contract to blast a $500 million Lockheed Martin GPS into orbit. While military spokespersons played up the civilian benefits of the launch, the primary reason for the project was to improve America’s surveillance and targeting capabilities. SpaceX has also won contracts with the Air Force to deliver its command satellite into orbit, with the Space Development Agency to send tracking devices into space, and with the National Reconnaissance Office to launch its spy satellites. All the “big five” surveillance agencies, including the CIA and the NSA, use these satellites.

Therefore, in today’s world, where so much intelligence gathering and target acquisition is done via satellite technology, SpaceX has become every bit as important to the American empire as Boeing, Raytheon, and General Dynamics. Simply put, without Musk and SpaceX, the U.S. would not be able to carry out such an invasive program of spying or drone warfare around the world.

Global Power

An example of how crucial Musk and his tech empire are to the continuation of U.S. global ambitions can be found in Ukraine. Today, around 47,000 Starlinks operate inside the country. These portable satellite dishes, manufactured by SpaceX, have kept both Ukraine’s civilian and military online. Many of these were directly purchased by the U.S. government via USAID or the Pentagon and shipped to Kiev.

In its hi-tech war against Russia, Starlink has become the keystone of the Ukrainian military. It allows for satellite-based target acquisition and drone attacks on Russian forces. Indeed, on today’s battlefield, many weapons require an internet connection. One Ukrainian official told The Times of London that he “must” use Starlink to target enemy forces via thermal imaging.

The controversial mogul has also involved himself in South American politics. In 2019, he supported the U.S.-backed overthrow of socialist president Evo Morales. Morales suggested that Musk financed the insurrection, which he dubbed a “lithium coup.” When directly charged with his involvement, Musk infamously replied, “We will coup whoever we want! Deal with it!” Bolivia is home to the world’s largest lithium reserves, a metal crucial in producing batteries for electric vehicles such as the ones in Musk’s Tesla cars.

In Venezuela last year, Musk went even further, supporting the U.S.-backed far-right candidate against socialist president Nicolás Maduro. He even went so far as to suggest he was working on a plan to kidnap the sitting president. “I’m coming for you Maduro. I will carry you to Gitmo on a donkey,” he said, referencing the notorious U.S. torture center.

More recently, Musk has thrown himself into American politics, funding and campaigning for President Trump, and will now lead Trump’s new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). DOGE’s stated mission is to cut unnecessary and wasteful government spending. However, with Musk at the helm, it seems unlikely that the billions of dollars in military contracts and tax incentives his companies have received will be on the chopping block.

At Trump’s inauguration, Musk garnered international headlines after he gave two Sieg Heil salutes – gestures that his daughter felt were unambiguously Nazi. Musk – who comes from a historically Nazi-supporting family – took time out from criticizing the reaction to his salute to appear at a rally for the Alternative für Deutschland Party. There, he said that Germans place “too much focus on past guilt” (i.e., the Holocaust) and that “we need to move beyond that.” “Children should not feel guilty for the sins of their parents – their great-grandparents even,” he added to raucous applause.

The tech tycoon’s recent actions have provoked outrage among many Americans, claiming that fascists and Nazis do not belong anywhere near the U.S. space and defense programs. In reality, however, these projects, from the very beginning, were overseen by top German scientists brought over after the fall of Nazi Germany. Operation Paperclip transported more than 1,600 German scientists to America, including the father of the American lunar project, Wernher von Braun. Von Braun was a member of both the Nazi Party and the infamous elite SS paramilitary, whose members oversaw Hitler’s extermination camps.

Thus, Nazism and the American empire have, for a long time, gone hand in hand. Far more disturbing than a man with fascist sympathies being in a position of power in the U.S. military or space industry, however, is the ability the United States is seeking for itself to be impervious to intercontinental missile attacks from its competitors.

On the surface, Washington’s Iron Dome plan may sound defensive in nature. But in reality, it would give it a free hand to attack any country or entity around the world in any way it wishes – including with nuclear weapons. This would upend the fragile nuclear peace that has reigned since the early days of the Cold War. Elon Musk’s help in this endeavor is much more worrying and dangerous than any salutes or comments he could ever make.

Russian Bread – Whose Weapon in the War?

by John Helmer, Moscow
  @bears_with

For their daily bread, Russians pay much less than the citizens of the US, the European Union, and other bread-eating states in the warfighting alliance.

At current prices, the Russian loaf of white bread is cheaper by almost seven times than the American; six times less than the Norwegian; four times less than the Italian and German; three times less than the French.

In the war between armies marching on their stomachs, the Russian Army has already won hands down; that’s the farmers’, millers’, and bakers’ hands.

On the home front, however, it is not this international comparison which counts for Russian consumers. They are suffering from the comparison they are obliged to make between the price they pay for bread today and the price last year, or before the Special Military Operation in February 2022. Before the war, between 2019 and 2021, the average rate of inflation for bread was between 5% and 7% per annum. In 2024, the bread price rose, according to the state statistics agency Rosstat, by 13.2%. In fact, according to published studies in Moscow, bread  inflation was double that rate at about 27% for the year.

The sensitivity of voters to this inflation in food prices is so great, President Vladimir Putin and  Agriculture Ministry officials are trying to talk down the bread price and ask consumers to eat promises. According to Putin on February 7, “annual inflation stands at 9.5 percent, though as of February 3, this had reached 9.9 percent year-on-year. This presents a challenge, necessitating comprehensive measures to ensure balanced economic expansion.”

In a meeting with Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, the President said inflation is a goods supply problem which can be solved by targeted state intervention, including subsidies to producers, restrictions on exports of Russian foodstuffs, and jawboning oligarchs and other business owners to hold their prices down temporarily.  “One paramount priority remains the development of a supply-side economy,” Putin said. “During the coronavirus pandemic, the Government executed highly effective sector-specific interventions. As previously discussed, including during meetings with the business community – whose representatives have advocated for this approach – we agreed with the Government to reinstate such sectoral coordination. We must assess the prospects of individual industries, identify priorities, and provide targeted support where required.”

Deputy Agriculture Minister Maxim Titov explained last week that state intervention in the food sector will be limited to asking the supermarket retailers to limit their bread-price markups to the government’s announced rate of inflation.  “In principle,” Titov said,   “as we see the dynamics of the price of bread, the price increase for the grain group that exists today has already been recouped.”

Titov also issued a radical warning disguised by a negative. “The cost of bread production is constantly growing,” he said, “but grain is not the main component in the cost of bread production.”  The deputy minister means that after two years of bumper wheat harvests for the farmers and record tonnage of flour from the millers, the real reason for bread price inflation isn’t supply side at all. Instead, as Moscow think-tank research confirms, it is profit-making by the bread-sellers. Their profit margin has been reported as several times the average profit margin of the producers.

This is profit rigging and price gouging, as Russians understand it. Deputy Minister Titov is pointing the finger at Magnit (Dixy), Pyaterochka (X5),  Mercury (Red & White, Bristol), and Lenta (Billa, Monetka), and to the oligarch groups of Alexander Vinokurov, Mikhail Fridman and Igor Kesaev who control them.  Lenta,  however, is part-controlled by the US private equity firm TPG Capital, based in Texas. Together, these four retailers have been steadily increasing their control over the entire Russian food retail marketplace; at present, they have a market share of more than 30%.
Reluctant as ministry officials and Russian agro-industry experts are to admit it, the reason for the acceleration in the price of bread is wartime profiteering. As a military source warns, “the picture is getting clearer; the outlook is getting dimmer.”

In global production of wheat,  Russia is currently third after China and India, with more than double the production of the US, Australia, France and Canada, which also trail behind Russia on the wheat export markets. As an exporter of flour, Russia ranks only 10th  on the world trade charts,  but larger-volume flour exporters like Turkey and Egypt get much of the wheat they turn into flour from Russia.

As the following chart shows, large wheat and flour producers like the US, Canada and Australia have much higher priced bread than Russia.

The Art of Deception

Reagan’s insight is as applicable to Donald Trump in 2025 as it was to MLK in 1983. The popular image of Trump as an intrepid adversary of the Deep State holds powerful sway over the minds of many Americans but stands in contrast to the reality of him as a shabbos goy, operating primarily on behalf of his billionaire donors, Benjamin Netanyahu and the state of Israel.

I can think of no other political leader who could shut down the US economy, appoint a clown like Tony Fauci to spearhead a national pandemic response, give $500 billion to Sam Altman and Larry Ellison to produce AI-generated mRNA vaccines, and still receive historic levels of support from conservative Americans.

Again, as that other great paragon of conservatism Ronald Reagan said, “the perception of too many people is based on an image, not reality.” Few would know better than the former Hollywood actor-turned-politician who, as the 40th president of the United States, granted amnesty to over 3 million illegal aliens without suffering even the slightest damage to his stellar legacy.

Waiting for the Munich Security Conference to Open: What ‘peace plan’ is Team Trump bringing?

by Gilbert Doctorow via https://gilbertdoctorow.com/2025/02/11/waiting-for-the-munich-security-conference-to-open-what-peace-plan-is-team-trump-bringing/#comments

Has the lifting of U.S. pressure of state censorship on social media and video platforms like youtube since Donald Trump’s inauguration made a difference in what we see and hear on the internet? My intuitive judgment says ‘yes.’ Day by day, I am struck by the proliferation of disinformation and fake news now coming from online broadcasters in the alternative media as ‘yellow press’ sensationalism rises for the sake of attracting an audience and signing up paying sponsors. Platforms may change with technology, but human instincts remain the same. By curious coincidence, this is happening at the very moment when lying and propagandistic mainstream media like The New York Times and The Financial Times have cooled to the notion of Ukraine dealing a strategic defeat on Russia while retaking all of its territories lost since 2014 and are presenting more fact-based reporting on the daily setbacks of the Ukrainian forces and the approaching Russian victory.

A case in point about rumor mongering was delivered to my inbox a day ago by friends in Brussels who sent me the link to a just released podcast by Clayton Morris (Redacted) claiming to know the contents of the peace plan Trump’s team will present at the Munich Security Conference that opens in two days. This plan supposedly will provide for joint Russian-Ukrainian control of the contested Eastern Ukraine regions of Novaya Rossiya now held by Russian troops, while Ukraine’s entry into the European Union is foreseen. It will provide for an immediate cessation of hostilities. Moscow will be incentivized to agree by the release of their frozen assets to Russian oligarchs. Oh, yes, and at the start of a cease fire, the United States would halt all further arms deliveries to Kiev.

Who knows? Perhaps such an improbable plan is among the papers that General Kellogg, Trump’s emissary to Ukraine and Russia, Vice President J.D. Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio are carrying with them to Munich. The notion that Putin can be moved to genuflect before Washington’s strong man by the self-serving dictates from his own Russian oligarchs is so utterly ignorant of Russian realities that it could easily have been put forward by Trump’s staff, who seem to be as poorly informed about what makes Russia tick as were Jake Sullivan and Tony Blinken in the Biden administration.

We can be left guessing, because Trump himself in his latest chats with Fox News reporters yesterday declared that he has made great progress towards a peace in the past week. He said he has spoken by telephone to Putin. He still hopes to bring together Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky for face-to-face negotiations.

Note that so far Donald Trump’s approach to negotiating an end to the Russia-Ukraine war has exactly the same elements of bravado, bullying, hubris as we see in all of his other opening moves on the international front, such as his threats of 25% tariffs against Mexico and Canada, his demand that Denmark ‘sell’ Greenland to the USA and his imposition of what are intended to be crushing new sanctions on Iran so as to open talks on a comprehensive settlement of decades long confrontation from what Americans perceive as ‘a position of strength.’

Note also, that in the case of Iran, Trump’s tactics have so far failed completely. A week ago, the country’s Supreme Leader Ali Khameini, flatly rejected entering into negotiations with Trump, saying that the Americans were not trustworthy and that Trump’s opening moves were ‘undignified.’

Exactly the same new crushing sanctions were imposed by Trump on Russia to show off his muscle to American admirers: namely sanctions directed against the so-called shadow fleet of oil tankers that Russia, like Iran, has assembled to take the delivery of oil to export markets entirely in its own hands, including provision of insurance coverage for the tankers. The intention of Trump in both instances is to reduce the exports and foreign currency earnings of both countries to nil.

All of the optimism coming from the Trump camp that it holds the high cards in relations with Russia flies in the face of the statements made yesterday afternoon by Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov that relations with the USA “are at the breaking point.” The war will end, said Ryabkov, only when the conditions set down by Vladimir Putin in June 2023 are satisfied. These conditions include the withdrawal of all Ukrainian military forces from the 4 Eastern Ukrainian regions that have been formally integrated into the Russian Federation, disavowal by Kiev on its hopes to enter the NATO alliance together with acceptance of neutral status without the presence of any foreign military personnel or installations on its territory. Let us remember that Ryabkov is the same official who announced in December 2021 Russia’s ultimatum to the USA calling for return of NATO to its borders of 1997, that is to say, before the multiple expansion waves that took in the former Warsaw Pact countries and the Baltic States.

Yesterday, Ryabkov also said that there are no prospects presently for successful discussions with the United States about limitations on medium range ground-based missiles or other items on the agenda in regulating strategic stability. Needless to say, Ryabkov’s very depressing message is not being reported by Western media. No one wants to spoil the party about to open in Munich.

When we look at the attendance list for the Munich conference, everyone seems to be present…except the Russians. What does the American delegation headed by the number two (vice president) and number three (secretary of state) officials in the U.S. federal government expect to achieve other than to ‘confer’ with its European allies who are in fact just vassals who will do whatever Washington tells them to do. Of course, Volodymyr Zalensky will also be in attendance, though here again, he is just dead weight on the talks since his opinion counts for nothing.

The Orban-Trump-Netanyahu-Georgescu Axis

But what can one make of the turmoil in Romania these days? A new contender for the presidency of Romania jumped out of nowhere to be the leading candidate for the second round. Who is Călin Georgescu and what is his intellectual weltanschauung?

A good introduction to his thinking is found in an unedited interview with Reiner Fuellmich, ICIC on December 2022 and posted on May 27, 2023 on YouTube https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=UhI2Fyr3ZRc. And it’s pretty embarrassing. This is a man with a serious pedigree, Secretary General of Romania’s Ministry of Environment, before he was catapulted up to the UN Agency for the same environmental protection as one of the regional directors; he worked there for some 18 years, visiting almost every country of the world and making or implementing decisions of global importance.

All of that despite his command of English being at the level of junior high school… And his general intellectual outlook was a call to traditional agrarian artisanal nostalgia. But when we get to promoting the benefits of such a simple life for our modern world, he explains that such a lifestyle made possible a life expectancy in the range of 180 to 200 years. Even Reiner flinched at that point and adjusted his glasses. I’m sorry, can you repeat that? Yes, of course, Georgescu explains, in Guinea I met people who were 180 years old. It is very possible.

Not sure about Reiner Fuellmich, and whether he realized that his guest was ruining his interview. Interestingly, it is not clear to this day what role he played and who promoted Reiner Fuellmich in those days, but he gathered a large following in the days of COVID as the lawyer of last resort, single-handedly setting up a peoples’ tribunal against the perpetrators of the COVID fraud. Suffice it to add that a month after the interview with Călin Georgescu, the Germans arrested him for alleged embezzlement and had him in preventive custody for over a year.

Well, back to our man Călin Georgescu. Now this is a fellow who, all his life, up to retirement with a fat pension from the same source, was one of the grandees of the liberal establishment. He served the liberal agenda and now he’s turned against his masters. Interesting conversion of someone who served his masters “against his conscience.”

But what can explain his meteoric rise and his sudden endorsement by obscure forces? The Russians stand accused. On what basis?

Let’s consider who are the main protagonists in the present conjuncture in Eastern Europe. The Russians, yes. Then the Americans. Biden’s Globalists or Trump’s sovereigntists? Then there is Netanyahu of Israel and its zealot ass-kisser Orban.

Little known to the public is Orban’s assiduous pursuit of revisionist claims on the Romanian territory of Transylvania, as well as claims against Ukraine’s Transcarpatica, regions once colonized by feudal Hungary. Orban is betting on two winners in the global war: Netanyahu’s Israel and Putin’s Russia, backed by Trump’s America, against the European Western establishment. That would almost guarantee his anointment as the Viceroy of Europe for a start.

But the current Romanian orientation is staunchly pro-EU, pro-Germany, especially with Klaus Johannis as president fully endorsing the Soros agenda, a sworn enemy of Orban.

Now the plot thickens. Brussels, Germany, Soros, and Biden on one side. Putin, Netanyahu, Trump and Orban on the other side. So who could have been behind the TikTok promotion of the inept Georgescu? Who had the skills and the motivation? And the alibi? The elephant in the room is … a 3-headed mastodon.

Putin obviously supports Netanyahu’s ethnic cleansing, so a little courtesy is due – just replace the anti-Russian government in Romania with a pro-Russian one, OK? At the same time, Orban is in high heaven betting on Trump, as he is anti-EU and opposes sanctions on Russia. Orban calls his personal friend, Netanyahu, and asks for a favor, as he, Orban, is the only European openly supporting the genocide in Gaza. Can you get this non-entity elected for me? And then he turns to Putin and claims to have helped him in a most critical moment. “Remember, Vlad, when we get to the next Yalta reconfiguration of Europe – all I ask for is that piece of real estate called Transylvania.” Never mind, Hungarians make up less than 6 percent of the population in Transylvania. We can work out a bit of ethnic cleansing, just like in Gaza.

Now the president of Romania has just resigned under huge pressure from the new Trump envoy for Europe, that’s Mr. Grenell, the personage much hated in Germany. The prime minister of Romania is compromised. The elections are compromised, and the entire leadership of Romania is suddenly compromised.

Orban goes to Spain and proclaims at the conference sponsored by Le Pen, Wilders and other pro-Israeli so-called conservatives, that this is the time for the Reconquista. First stage of the plan is a big success.

But where will all this Trump obscenity get us in the end? Only time will tell.

Russia, an Israel-First Country

MOSCOW, February 10. /TASS/. Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov, commenting on US President Donald Trump’s idea to buy and rebuild the Gaza Strip, said that it is necessary to wait for the details of this plan, as there are many questions.

“We need to wait for some details if you mean a coherent plan of action. There are almost 1.2 million Palestinians who live there, that’s the key concern. These are the people to whom the relevant [UN] Security Council resolutions promised a state solution to the Middle East problem, and so on and so forth. There are a lot of such issues. We don’t know the details yet, so we need to be patient,” the Kremlin spokesman said.

People have got to realize that Russia is an Israel-first country as much as the US until now. Despite the fact that one can justify Putin’s defensive actions in Ukraine and the fact that he’s finally doing something about saving the world from the “liberal” new world order, it does not mean we should overlook his unprincipled friendship with Israel. For years, Putin allowed Israel to bomb Syria. Iran better not put all its faith in Putin coming to their rescue against Israel. It will not happen.

Putin and China will talk about how what Israel is doing is wrong, but will not do anything concrete to protect or help the Palestinians. They are both invested in Israel. Every year, Russians hold Victory Day parades in remembrance of the Great Patriotic War and the millions of Russians lost, but how much did Russia do while Israel intentionally set out to starve and kill the Palestinians? Putin’s older brother died of starvation during the war, but what exactly did Russia do to try to force Israel to allow food into Gaza? Why does Russia, or, even more so, Putin, never call genocide “genocide”? Why does Russia condemn October 7 as a terrorist attack while it never condemns in stern words and actions the 70 years of Israel’s war crimes against the Palestinians?

No one should be surprised, Russia goes along with the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians from Gaza and that makes Putin’s Russia complicit to Israel’s crimes just as much as Biden.

Only the steadfast European Union stands up and backs up the ICC, calling attention to the murder taking place in full view of the complicit world.

Gaza Conspiracy

If I am to venture an “intellectual’s” explanation of the surreal events around Gaza since Trump stepped onto the stage, here is my rationale of the most likely conspiracy.

Trump is being employed by the Masters of the Universe as the bearer of the so-called revolution, replacing Soros with a popular Master of Ceremony. While Soros could not achieve in controlling the virulently insane Nethanyahu, the “Trump phenomenon” did by riding over the plot to impose the total reversal in a matter of days, if not hours.

The Israeli army moved out of Gaza like they were under orders from god, blew up all their army posts in Gaza, including the dividing Netzarim corridor, to be followed by the much prized Philadelphi corridor.

Trump meanwhile is spinning a fairytale about the US owning and developing Gaza into some real estate El Dorado in some undefined future. Of course, not.

Once the Israeli army is out and the 3rd phase of the ceasefire is in place, we most likely will see the fall of Nethanyahu’s government. That’s Trump’s job at this stage as far as Gaza.

Israel is defeated by the Globalists, now in control of Trump.

Meanwhile Europe is slowly but inexorably moving into a war economy under the stirring of van Der Leyen. The Orban-Le Pen-Wilders pro Trump chorus will have a reality check.

Trump’s America, Putin’s Russia, all BS

More from the water cooler:

Giving Trump a gold-plated pager was the most arrogantly cynical joke Netanyahu could play on him on so many levels.

First, and least important is that it had to be gold-plated to play up to Trump’s notorious, ostentatious bad taste, evident in the interior decoration of his residences in NYC and Mar-A-Lago (now known as Gaza-A-Lago), where everything is gilded.

Second, the pager may be interpreted as a threat to never-ever step out of line and third as a symbol for the world to understand that Trump may be called instantly and at all times like a whore whom the pimp can reach whether she is, in his case on the golf course or in the WH.

It will be interesting to see how Erdogan is dealt with…

It is assumed that because one is rational and a skilled observer, then so would be Trump. Better to live in hope than die in despair ??

Trump is accustomed to dealing with real estate folks in trouble and who, with the help of his Jew friends muscle them out for pennies on the dollar. Yet, how many times has he declared bankruptcy ! He can bully the smaller Latin States but with Putin, Xi and the other Brics leaders he will be told to f’ off.

He is in the big league now but still locked into the NYC bully boy loudmouth mode. The fellow makes enemies into bitter enemies and friends into enemies.

Trump is like all over the place !! Canada, Greenland, Panama Canal, Gaza, Cartels, ending the Ukraine mess in 24 hours, trade wars blah blah and more blah. As fast as one pronouncement is exposed in minutes as utter shit, he barfs up another torrent of vomit as a replacement. According to him the earth spins and tilts on its axis because HE made it so.

Everything with the guy has to be a WIN for him, always an impossibility in the real world. I think he is going to find out that the Ringmaster of a circus may be the centre of attention and cheers during the show but afterwards just another clown in the back room.

America is on the decline and all the fluff and theatrics wont save it !

His followers may look at him and see gold but the really sharp sighted only see bullshit !

“If Putin doesn’t take all of Ukraine east of Dnieper river, he lost. And he better take Odessa.”

Russia hasn’t taken Kharkiv which is 30 minutes from the Russian border.

Ukraine has been taking out an oil depot or refinery about every week.

So no I don’t see Russia taking a hostile port city that overwhelmingly voted for Zelensky. At current rates Ukraine could take out most of their refineries before that happens.

Putin most likely wants to raise his “mission accomplished” banner and just hope everyone forgets that he said the war was about stopping the Eastward expansion of NATO. Well that goal has failed due to Finland joining.

USAID, Democrat as much as Republican

Grayzone report on the International Republican Institute’s sponsorship of trans events in Bangladesh, IRI’s funding coming from the National Endowment for Democracy.

So why did transgender people make up a quarter of the IRI program’s participants, in a country of 173 million where a 2022 census found they comprise just 0.007% of the population? The IRI documents suggest it’s because the Institute views gay and transgender people as uniquely disruptive actors who can be deployed to manipulate political realities overseas: “Facing discrimination and prejudice, LGBTI people tend to participate in social change activities to eventually bring changes to politics.”

    Also:

All told, between March 1, 2019 and December 31, 2020, the Republican group sponsored 160 photographs, 30 paintings, 21 theatrical shows, five short films, three “transgender dance performances,” three documentaries, two rap songs and accompanying music videos, and one book. Meanwhile, IRI staff had “identified over 170 democratic activists who would cooperate with IRI to destabilize Bangladesh’s politics,” they wrote.

Using wokeness in service of a political agenda to overthrow a country’s government and install a US aligned regime. Yeh, that sounds about right.
