As we have previously reported here at Health Impact News, the government’s Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) now lists twice as many deaths following COVID-19 shots for the past 9 months as deaths following ALL vaccines for the past 30 years!

Not only is this information from the government’s own database NOT being reported in the pharma-funded corporate media, but nurses and other frontline workers are now coming forward to report that very few deaths and injuries from the COVID-19 shots are actually being reported to VAERS due to tremendous pressure by the pro-vaccine crowd to NOT report them.

Their voices are being censored by the corporate media.

So what are the REAL numbers of those already dead or permanently injured from the COVID-19 shots?

Dr. Jessica Rose recently did an expert analysis on the VAERS data and the problem of underreporting. Dr. Jessica Rose has a BSc in Applied Mathematics and completed her MSc in Immunology at Memorial University of Newfoundland in Canada. She completed her PhD in Computational Biology at Bar Ilan University and then did her first Post Doctorate at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Molecular Biology.

This is maybe the most brilliant analysis of the VAERS data I have seen so far. What Dr. Rose did was take an independent analysis of a single VAERS event, one that the FDA and CDC admitted was an adverse reaction based on trials before the shots were even authorized, anaphylaxis, and then looked at independent studies reporting the rate of anaphylaxis to determine the true percentage, compared to what is actually being reported in VAERS.

What she found was that anaphylaxis was being underreported in VAERS by 41X. Taking that variable and then applying it to other events, such as death, she arrived at the 150,000 death figure. See the full analysis here.

Romania Opens Investigation Into How Covid Vaccines Were Acquired And Shutsdown Its Vaccine Centers

Romanian prosecutors have opened investigation into the country’s Covid vaccine acquisitions and has also shutdown its vaccine centers as people have refused the experimental jabs.

Now, even the Romania’s National Anticorruption Directorate (DNA) has announced that it opened investigations related to the circumstances under which Romania purchased [too many, prosecutors seem to imply] Covid vaccines.

“As far as I know, the procedures followed for the procurement [of vaccines] in all European Union countries were the same, and they were developed by the European Commission,” Valeriu Gheorghiță, the head of the national vaccination campaign, said, according to Hotnews.ro.

Prosecutors said that the investigations are opened in order to spot potential “abuse of office” [implying personal benefits derived by those so far unidentified] involved.

Notably, the health ministry was managed until early September by the reformist USR-PLUS party, which pulled out of the ruling coalition meanwhile and launched a no-confidence motion against the Government. But the ministry of health was not directly involved in the procurement.

Romania has also shutdown its vaccine centers as people have refused the experimental jabs.

Declining demand for coronavirus vaccinations in Romania has prompted authorities to close 117 vaccination centres and to reduce the schedule at 371 others, health officials have said.

“In the previous week, we re-evaluated the efficiency of fixed vaccination centers. About 80% of fixed vaccination centres vaccinate less than 25% of the vaccination capacity allocated to each stream,” national vaccination committee chief Valeriu Gheorghita said at a press conference on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Czech Republic is planning to destroy 45,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccines since nobody wants to take the shots.

More than 14,000 doses of AstraZeneca’s vaccine were thrown away in the past month alone due to the lack of interest from the public.

Recently, the President of Croatia hammered the media Monday after a reporter asked why the vaccination rate in Croatia is not as high as in other European Union countries.

The Croatian President Zoran Milanovic retorted saying, “We will not be vaccinated anymore”.

Croatians have been “vaccinated enough” and should be allowed to accept the risks of becoming infected with COVID on their own terms, according to President Zoran Milanović.

“We will not go more than 50 percent, let them fence us with wire,” Milanović said in recent statements to the press. “I don’t care. We’re vaccinated enough and everyone knows it.”

“We need to know what the goal of this frenzy is. If the goal is to completely eradicate the virus, then we have the goal. I have not heard that this is the goal. If someone tells me it’s a goal, I will tell him he’s out of his mind.”

President Milanović broke with the majority of his contemporaries in expressing frustration over medical authoritarianism and COVID hysteria pushed by the mainstream media and the globalists.

Why Do Doctors Go Along with COVID Panic Porn and CDC Prescriptions?

I recently had a conversation with a reasonably well-informed writer who simply missed the real reasons why most practicing physicians go along with the Fauci Fraud. As a public service, I will attempt to fill in a few gaps. But first, I must define the fraud.

There are two basic legs to the fraud. First is the idea that the Centers for Disease Control is in any way concerned with a mission related to its name. The failure of the CDC to endorse any treatment that did not emanate from its exalted halls should give us our first glint of clarity. There are literally millions of physicians around the world, and the great bulk of them truly wish to treat their patients well. Among those are thousands of researchers, a number far in excess of those at the CDC, the NIH, and other alphabet soup government agencies. The very idea that outside researchers are incapable of discovering anything useful without the help of the bureaucrats in D.C. is hubris of the highest order. And it prevents the CDC, the FDA, or any other such agency from considering the idea that maybe, just possibly, there might be intelligent life down here. Mount Olympus cannot be threatened.

The second leg of the fraud is less visible to the naked eye but much more powerful. If I wrote this before I retired, I would be called before the Board of my group and told in no uncertain terms to shut up. I might even be assessed a financial penalty with several zeroes after the one. That’s a serious impairment of my pursuit of happiness. The reason for my group’s dislike is more than the fact that I might be an irritant. They may actually agree with what I have to say. But they simply cannot afford for me to say it. That’s right: as a practicing physician in a group, my freedom of speech can become very expensive…to the group.

My group cared for patients of all descriptions, with roughly half of them on Medicare and another batch on Medicaid. Both programs are ultimately managed by the feds, one of the most humorless groups on the planet. They write a whole bunch of rules on how you have to document everything you do. If you didn’t document it correctly, it didn’t happen, and you won’t get paid. But that’s not the half of it.

Suppose you have one of those patients brought in by the ambulance from under the bridge. His only clothes are the ones he’s wearing, and he doesn’t have two nickels to rub together. It’s more than obvious that this surgery for bowel obstruction will be a charity case. Before Medicare, you’d simply write it off as your good neighbor duty. Now you don’t get a choice. CMMS (the actual administrative agency) requires you to send a bill. Twice. Or maybe three times. Whatever it takes to turn the bill into bad debt. Then you have to send it to a collection agency. Your only alternative is for your group to bring it up in its Board meeting and declare it a write-off that gets noted in the minutes.

All this rigmarole serves no purpose, and you knew that before you got to this sentence. But CMMS has a sinister side. If you do the case for free (which you did before you spent that useless money on billing and collection), CMMS will define that as your “usual and customary” bill for an exploratory laparotomy. Since your U&C is now zero, you can’t ever bill more than that for an ex lap in the future.

But what does that have to do with ivermectin? I’m glad you asked.

U&C bills are just one of the hundreds of rules that CMMS enforces. Another is “Pay for Performance.” Basically, P-f-P requires you to check a host of boxes when taking care of patients. If you didn’t get that IV antibiotic in 20 minutes before the incision, you failed P-f-P and may not get paid. The hospital won’t get paid to take care of the patient if there’s a complication.

EcoHealth Alliance, DARPA Toyed With Infecting Wild Chinese Bats With Covid, Leaked Docs Allege

The debate over the origins of the novel coronavirus, which has now killed over 4.7 million mostly elderly and immunocompromised people throughout the world and caused untold economic suffering, continues, with China and the United States engaged in a high-stakes information campaign to convince humanity that the other country is responsible.
In 2018, Peter Daszak, the British-born zoologist and president of the EcoHealth Alliance, the US organisation known for funneling millions of dollars in US National Institutes of Health funding into risky research at the Wuhan lab, submitted a funding request to DARPA – the Pentagon’s top-secret military research agency, to deliberately release genetically-modified coronavirus particles into wild Chinese bat populations, leaked grant proposal papers suggest.
 
The $14.2 million funding request, published by DRASTIC Research, a loose collection of independent scientists investigating Covid-19’s origins, is said to have sought the cash to create airborne, skin-penetrating coronavirus particles and spread them into bat caves in China’s Yunnan province, ostensibly to inoculate the animals against illnesses that could jump to human beings.
The complex nano-particles were said to contain “novel chimeric spike proteins.” Situated on the outside of the coronavirus, the spike protein the means by which SARS-CoV-2 enters human cells.
The funding request was made some 18 months before the appearance of the first cases of Covid-19 in China’s Hubei province, with that outbreak eventually growing into a global pandemic.
The leaked papers further allege that the DARPA funding request included a proposal to create genetically-enhanced chimeric viruses that could infect human beings more easily by genetically manipulating bat coronaviruses to introduce “human-specific cleavage sites,” thereby making it easier for a virus to enter human cells. The scientific justification for such research is unclear.

Furthermore, the request was also said to have proposed genetically mixing components of natural coronaviruses with the potential to cause serious complications with milder but more infections strains. This included plans to make more infectious versions of Mers – the extremely deadly virus which has a fatality rate of nearly 33 percent. The reasons as to why Daszack proposed this potentially dangerous research are again unclear.
EcoHealth Alliance and the Wuhan Institute of Virology have not commented on DRASTIC’s document dump. However, an unnamed former Trump administration official told The Telegraph that the leaked papers are genuine.
Among the leaked papers is a two-page response by DARPA rejecting Daszak’s research proposal. The reply said noted that “if funding became available,” and certain dual-use related risks were mitigated, “certain components of particular interest could have gone ahead.”
However, DARPA said that in the proposal’s then-current form, “it is clear that the proposed DEFUSE project [the proposed project’s formal name] led by Peter Daszak could have put local communities at risk by failing to consider” issues including gain of function, “dual use research of concern,” vaccine epitope coverage, regulatory requirements and various ethical, legal and social issues.

Angus Dalgleish, a British professor and oncologist at St. George’s Hospital Medical School in London who has spent over a year investigating the Wuhan Covid lab leak theory, told The Telegraph that Daszak and his colleagues at Wuhan may have proceeded with the research despite DARPA’s refusal to fund it.
“This is clearly a gain of function, engineering the cleavage site and polishing the new viruses to enhance human cell infectibility in more than one cell line,” Dalgleish said of the documents.
An unnamed Covid researcher from the World Health Organization said they found the proposal to create a chimeric Mers virus particularly “scary,” given the virus’s deadliness compared to Sars-CoV-2. “If one of their receptor replacements made Mers spread similarly [to Sars-CoV-2] while maintaining its lethality, this pandemic would be nearly apocalyptic,” the WHO researcher warned.

The possible role of Daszak’s EcoHealth Alliance in funding potentially dangerous coronavirus bat research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology using US government money became the subject of congressional scrutiny this summer, when Kentucky Senator Rand Paul grilled White House chief medical advisor Anthony Fauci over his alleged role in approving such funding after it was banned in the US. Fauci has denied any wrongdoing, and in a briefing earlier this month, White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki assured reporters that his job was safe amid allegations that he lied to Congress in his testimony.

Psaki Says Fauci’s Job Safe Despite Claims He Lied to Congress About Coronavirus Research in Wuhan

Psaki’s comments followed the publication of a new investigation by The Intercept which found that EcoHealth had been funding potentially dangerous pathogen research at Wuhan since 2014, with research reported to be continuing to this day.
Sars-CoV-2’s origins continue to be hotly debated, with some scientists continuing to maintain that the virus emerged naturally, while others allege that it may have come about as a result of genetic manipulations by scientists. The issue was almost immediately politicised in 2020, when then-President Donald Trump and other members of his administration began alleging that China was responsible for the global pandemic, pointing to the fact that the virus was first discovered in the same city where the Wuhan Institute of Virology is situated. Beijing responded by alleging that the US military may have brought the virus to Wuhan during the 2019 World Army Games, and has gone on to demand a formal investigation by the WHO of Fort Detrick – the US military’s pathogen research lab, which mysteriously closed down for a brief period in the summer of 2019, after which Covid-like symptoms were reported in communities surrounding the facility. Earlier this month, the US intelligence community submitted a report to President Biden following a months-long probe into the virus’s origins, finding that there was no conclusive evidence to show one way or the other whether it originated in nature or a lab.

Syria’s Foreign and Expatriates Ministry has put both UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and the UNSC on notice that it is well past time for the bastion of peace and security to enforce its Charter against member states which breach it, in this case, the Turkish invader and occupation forces. If Guterres and the Security Council continue to refuse to enforce the Charter which prohibits member states from war criminal attacks on other countries, Syria will finally take the matter into its own military hands, which is its legal right, per the Geneva Agreements of 1949 and per the UN Charter.

Since the beginning of the heinous NATO Spring dumped on Syria in March 2011, NATO Turkey has led the way in war crimes against the Syrian Arab Republic.

In November 2012, al Qaeda terrorists occupying part of Aleppo, under the commands of NATO Erdogan and the dirty Gulfie gas station — two-thirds of which are US military bases, dismantled Syrian factories and oil machinery parts, and transported them by trucks — in broad daylight — into Turkey.

On 5 December 2012, al Qaeda FSA terrorists in an alleged ‘make shift’ laboratory in Gaziantep, Turkey, announced they had chemical weapons and were prepared to use them against Syrian patriots. They demonstrated that they did — the chemical weapon appeared to be VX — in a fatal experiment with two rabbits. The UNSC refused to investigate the threat.

On 21 December 2012, the al Qaeda FSA terrorists in the same ‘make shift’ lab announced they had developed a quick acting poison that could massacre Syrian patriots via dumping it into the Alsinn Spring water supply to Lattakia. This time one rabbit was used in the fatal demonstration. Again, the UNSC refused to investigate.

Instead of poisoning the spring, the savages used this chemical substance to murder dozens of kidnapped Syrian children, on 4 April 2017, in Khan Sheikhoun.

Prior to Madman Erdogan’s official military invasions of the Syrian Arab Republic — to which it gave Orwellian names of Olive Branch (2018) and Peace Spring (2019), the war criminals had occupied Jarabulus, Syria, and created a Turkish police force.

Syria has previously called on the civilized world to halt Turkey’s cultural aggression against the state.

In September 2019, Erdogan presented his planned annexation of Syria map to the UN General Assembly. He should have had rotten eggs and tomatoes thrown at him; instead, the NATO klansmen and house servants in attendance, bobbed their heads in approval.

At the 24 October anti-Syria UN meeting, the Security Council P3 and their Ursula Mueller were complicit in ignoring the advent of Turkey’s water war crimes against the Levantine republic.

The reality of Turkey’s water war crimes against Syria was completely ignored by the unindicted war criminals of the UN, at the NATO junta’s anti-Syria monthly meeting, on 24 October 2019. Instead of condemning NATO Turkey’s water war crime against the Syrian people, the urchin honcho disgracefully described Erdogan’s atrocity as perpetrated by “allied non-State armed groups” and inferred that intricate repairs were made by a simple wave of a fairy godmother’s wand.

Mere months later, the same Emergency Relief Coordinator who showed little concern for Erdogan’s water war crimes was nearly frothing at the mouth at the UN anti-Syria klan fest, demanding Tal Abyad have a border crossing opened to ‘help’ the suffering Syrians, though she appeared sedate in the pre-meeting UNSCR meeting of the NATO klan.

 

On 28 April 2021, the OCHA humanitarian bastards published a report on Alouk, via Reliefweb, wailing its crocodile tears that the water had been “disrupted” twenty-three times since November 2019.

He will arrive in NYC with his delegation that includes former Syrian Permanent Representative to the UN, and current Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Dr. Bashar al Jaafari, Dr. Abdhullah Hallaq, and Ehab Hamed.

Syria has put the UNSC and UNSG on notice that one way or another, Erdogan’s war crimes against the Levantine republic will be halted.

There is a very high probability that, finally, the US is throwing in the towel. Defeated and bankrupt, this is the year when, under cover of the coronavirus, the US empire goes up in smoke — and rapidly — likely on the model of the USSR’s dissolution.

The US withdrew its most advanced missile defense system and Patriot batteries from Saudi Arabia in the recent weeks despite repeated attacks on the Kingdom by the Houthis, the Associated Press reported on September 11.

SouthFront: According to the AP, the system, a THAAD [Terminal High Altitude Area Defense] unit, and the Patriot batteries were deployed in Prince Sultan Air Base, some 115 kilometers to the southeast of the Saudi capital Riyadh.

Satellite images released by the news agency confirmed that all the American systems had been withdrawn from the Saudi air base.

Pentagon spokesperson John Kirby confirmed to the AP “the redeployment of certain air defense assets” which were situated in Saudi Arabia.

“The Defense Department continues to maintain tens of thousands of forces and a robust force posture in the Middle East representing some of our most advanced air power and maritime capabilities, in support of U.S. national interests and our regional partnerships,” Kirby said.

From its side, the Saudi Defense Ministry described the kingdom’s relationship with the US in a statement sent to the AP as “strong, longstanding and historic”. The ministry acknowledged the withdrawal of the American missile defense systems. However, it said that the Saudi military “is capable of defending its lands, seas and airspace, and protecting its people.”

“The redeployment of some defense capabilities of the friendly United States of America from the region is carried out through common understanding and realignment of defense strategies as an attribute of operational deployment and disposition,” the statement reads.

The withdrawal of US missile defense system came following a large-scale attack by the Houthis on Saudi Arabia. The Yemeni group fired 16 missiles and drones at the Kingdom on September 4. At least eight people were wounded.

After assuming office earlier this year, President Joe Biden suspended US support for the Saudi-led war on Yemen. The withdrawal of missile defense system may be meant to further pressure the oil-rich Kingdom. Another possibility is that the systems are needed on other fronts, near the border with Russia or China.

While Saudi Arabia maintains its own Patriot systems, the ability to stop the Houthis’ repeated attack will, without a doubt, decline after the withdrawal of the American systems.

We all have the word “Democracy” in our mouths and our media warn us against the authoritarian drifts of illiberal countries. However, some of us refuse to organize contradictory debates on the attacks of September 11 as well as on the reaction to the Covid-19 epidemic.

The three monkeys at the Toshogu Shinto temple. They illustrate the precept of a Chinese sage: “Say nothing wrong, see nothing wrong, hear nothing wrong. They could also illustrate Western cowardice: “Say nothing of the Truth, see nothing of the Truth, hear nothing of the Truth.”

The celebrations of the 20th anniversary of the attacks of September 11, 2001 give rise to two absolutely contradictory narratives, depending on whether one refers to the written and audio-visual press or to the digital press. For some, Al Qaeda declared war on the West by plotting a high-profile crime, while for others the same crime masked a domestic coup d’état in the US.

Any debate is impossible between the supporters of these two versions. Not because both sides refuse it, but because the supporters of the official version -and only they- refuse it. They consider their opponents as “conspiracy theorists”, that is to say, in their mind, at best fools, at worst evil people, accomplices -willing or not- of terrorists.

From now on, this disagreement applies to any major political event. And the worldview of the two camps keeps distancing itself from each other.

How could such a fracture between fellow citizens occur in societies that aspire to democracy? Especially since, not this fracture, but the reaction to this fracture makes any democracy impossible.

The continuous news channels prioritizes speed over event. They do not have the time to contextualize it and even less to analyze it; functions which are the proper of journalism. The viewer becomes a voyeur of things he does not understand.

A CERTAIN CONCEPTION OF JOURNALISM

We are assured today that the role of journalists is to report faithfully what they have seen. Yet when we are interviewed by a local media outlet about a story we know about and see how they have handled it, we are often disappointed. We feel that we have not been understood. Some of us lament that we have come across the wrong journalist and retain our trust in the mainstream media. Others feel that while a little distortion is possible on small issues, a lot more must be done on more complex ones.

In 1989, a crowd attending one of his speeches heard the Romanian dictator, Nicolae Ceaușescu, accuse the fascists of having invented the Timișoara massacre attributed to his regime’s torturers. Revulsed by this denial, the crowd revolted, chanting “Ti-mi-șoa-ra! Ti-mi-șoa-ra!” and overthrew him. The local television station in Atlanta (USA), CNN, broadcast live the few days of this revolution. It thus became the first live news channel and turned into an international channel. However, we know today that this massacre never existed. It was only a staged event using corpses taken from a morgue. It was later learned that a propaganda unit of the US Army had an office adjacent to the CNN newsroom.

The Timișoara manipulation only worked because it was live. Viewers had no time to check or even think. Professionally, no journalist ever drew any conclusions from the event. On the contrary, CNN became the model for the live news channels that have sprung up everywhere.

During the Kosovo war, in 1999, I was producing a daily bulletin summarizing the information from NATO and the regional news agencies (Austria, Hungary, Romania, Greece, Albania, etc.) to which I had subscribed [1]. From the beginning, what Nato was telling us in Brussels was not confirmed by the regional agencies. On the contrary, they described a completely different conflict. It was strange to see that the regional journalists, from all countries except Albania, formed a block, writing texts that were compatible with each other, but not with those of NATO. Week after week, the two versions were moving away from each other.

I n response to this situation, NATO put Jamie Shea in charge of its communications. He told a new story every day from the battlefield. The international press soon had eyes only for him. His story became the media story and the regional news agencies were no longer covered except by me. In my mind, both sides were lying and the truth had to be somewhere in between.

When the war was over, humanitarians, diplomats and UN soldiers rushed to Kosovo. To their surprise – and mine – they found that the local journalists had accurately reported the truth. Jamie Shea’s words had been nothing but war propaganda. They had been the only “reliable” source for the international media for three months.

Western journalists who went to Kosovo also found that they had trusted people who had lied to them with aplomb. Yet few of them changed their tune. And even fewer managed to convince their editors that NATO had deceived them. The narrative imposed by the Atlantic Alliance had become the Truth that the history books would repeat despite the facts.

ANCIENT GREECE AND THE MODERN WEST

In ancient Greece, plays caused strong emotions in the audience. Some feared that the gods would drag them into dark destinies. So gradually the chorus, which narrated the story, also began to explain that one must not be fooled by what one saw, but to understand that it was only a staged show.

This distancing from appearances, which is paralyzed by the myth of live information, is called in psychology the “symbolic function”. Small children are incapable of this, they take everything seriously. However, at the “age of reason”, at 7 years old, we can all make the difference between what is true and what is only a representation.

Reason here is opposed to rationality. To be rational is to believe only in things that are proven. To be reasonable is not to believe in impossible things. This is a very big difference. Because we don’t find the Truth with beliefs, but with facts.

When we see airplanes hitting the World Trade Center in New York and people jumping out of windows to escape the fire, we are all very moved. When the Towers collapse, we are ready to weep. But that should not stop us from thinking [2].

We can always be told that 19 hijackers hijacked four airplanes, but since these people were not on the airline’s lists of passengers on board, they could not hijack these planes.

One can always tell us that the fuel from the two burning planes slipped onto the pillars of the buildings and melted them, which would explain why the Twin Towers collapsed, but not on themselves, and not the collapse of the third tower. For a building to collapse, not on one side, but on itself, you have to blow up its foundations, then blow it up from top to bottom to destroy the floors on themselves.

One can always tell us that panic-stricken passengers phoned their relatives before dying, but since the telephone companies have no record of these calls, they did not exist.

One can always tell us that a Boeing destroyed the Pentagon, but it could not have entered through a porte cochere without damaging the doorframe.

The testimonies contradict each other. But only some are contradicted by the facts.

WHY WE ACCEPT TO BE DECEIVED

There remains a big problem: why do we accept to be deceived? Usually because the Truth is harder for us to accept than the lie.

For example, when for years the son of the president of the National Political Science Foundation denounced the rapes he was subjected to by the president, everyone pitied the poor delusional boy and praised his father for enduring his madness without saying a word. When the victim’s sister published a book of testimonies, everyone realized who was telling the truth. The president was forced to resign. The rapist owes his escape from justice only to his status: former European deputy, president of the emblematic institution of the entire French political-media class and president of the Siècle, the most exclusive private club in France.

Why do we believe that Al Qaeda is responsible for the 9/11 attacks? Because the Secretary of State, General Colin Powell, came before the United Nations Security Council and swore it. It doesn’t matter that he lied years earlier when he validated the story of the incubators stolen from Kuwait by the Iraqis and the babies left to die. Or that he lied later about President Saddam Hussein’s weapons of mass destruction. He is a Secretary of State and we must believe him.

On the contrary, if we question his word, we should not only ask why we invaded Afghanistan, then Iraq, and so on. But also and above all why he lied.

The irremovable Anthony Fauci has managed every major epidemic in the US. He does not work as a doctor, but as a senior civil servant. He does not care about the Hippocratic oath. He has not hesitated to embezzle public money to sponsor illegal and dangerous research in a distant country. Or to promote the compulsory confinement of healthy people.

THE REACTION TO COVID-19: ANOTHER 9/11

The enigma of 9/11 is not a question of the past. Our understanding of the last twenty years depends on how it is answered. As long as we do not have contradictory debates between the two versions, we will reproduce this fracture on all global issues.

We are currently experiencing another catastrophe, the Covid-19 pandemic. We have all seen a large laboratory, Gilead Science, bribe the editors of the medical journal The Lancet to denigrate a drug, hydroxychloroquine. Gilead Science is the company formerly headed by the 9/11 Secretary of Defense, Donald Rumsfeld. It is also the company that produces a drug against Covid-19, Remdesivir. In any case, no one dared to look for drugs to treat Covid anymore. Everyone turned to the hope of vaccines.

Donald Rumsfeld had instructed his staff to develop protocols in case of a bioterrorist attack on US military bases abroad. Then he asked one of them, Dr. Richard Hachett, who was a member of the US National Security Council, to extend this protocol to an attack on the US civilian population. It was this man who proposed the compulsory confinement of healthy populations, provoking an outcry from American doctors, led by Professor Donald Henderson of John Hopkins University [3]. For them, Rumsfeld, Hatchett and their advisor, the senior civil servant Anthony Fauci, were enemies of the Hippocratic oath and of humanity.

When the Covid-19 epidemic occurred, Dr. Richard Hatchett had become the director of CEPI (Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations); an association created at the Davos Forum and funded by Bill Gates. It was Hatchett who first used the expression “We are at war”, which was taken up by his friend President Emmanuel Macron. It was he who advised confining healthy populations as he had imagined 15 years earlier in the “war on terror.” Anthony Fauci, on the other hand, was still at his post. He had embezzled federal money to finance illegal research in the United States. The research was conducted for him at the Chinese laboratory in Wuhan.

Normally, the medical professions would have risen up again against the compulsory confinement of healthy people. This did not happen. They overwhelmingly considered that the situation required violating the Hippocratic oath.

Today, the Western countries that followed Dr. Hatchett’s advice and believed Gilead Science’s lies have a terrifying record of this pandemic. The United States has 26 times more deaths per million people than China. And its economy is devastated.

This would deserve some debate and explanation, but no. We prefer to see our societies fractured again between supporters of Anthony Fauci or Professor Didier Raoult.

CONCLUSION

Instead of talking to each other, of confronting our arguments, we organize false debates between the supporters of the dominant doxa and those of the most grotesque opinions possible.

It is useless to aspire to live in a democracy, if we refuse to really discuss the most important subjects.

Our Children, Their Peons

Parents were once thought to know what’s best for their children. That now seems to be the state’s role, after a couple were described as “abusive and neglectful” by a magistrate for trying to stop their daughter transitioning.

An extremely interesting and important case came before the Western Australia (WA) Supreme Court this week, involving an appeal by parents opposing the wishes of their child, who identifies as transgender and sought to undergo a sex-change procedure.

The child is female and, aged 15, sought to transition to a transgender male – a standard procedure offered by the Perth Children’s Hospital. When her parents refused to agree to this, she threatened to commit suicide and was taken into care by the WA Department of Communities. Legal proceedings then commenced against the parents, and they were found by a Children’s Court magistrate to have acted in an “abusive and neglectful” manner towards their daughter.

In one sense, the appeal is moot, because, once the child turns 18, she will be able to avail herself of the transitioning procedure irrespective of her parents’ views. The parents, however, brought the appeal as a matter of principle because they believe they have been treated unjustly.

The Western Australia government – which funds and promotes a Child and Adolescent Gender Diversity Service – is defending the magistrate’s decision, and the appeal is to be heard by Western Australia’s Chief Justice, Peter Quinlan. Justice Quinlan is noted for his so-called ‘progressive’ views, which he regularly expounds in lengthy extrajudicial speeches – a fashionable pastime engaged in by many judges in Western societies these days. Last month, for example, he delivered a speech on what he described as the “pervasive and insidious current of sexual harassment and gendered discrimination in our culture and in our workplaces”.

It even included a personal mea culpa. “In the decades in which I have been part of the legal profession, there have been countless examples in which I witnessed or heard about harassment or discrimination but was too ignorant, wilfully blind or simply afraid to stick my head above the parapet to call out what, as a lawyer, I should have been ethically bound to name and condemn,” said the judge.

Irrespective of the outcome of the appeal, it is important to attempt to understand how these parents came to be in the predicament in which they find themselves. Forty years ago, it would have been utterly unimaginable. Today, however, it is becoming commonplace in many Western societies, as the ideology of transgender rights takes hold and is uncritically implemented and enforced by governments.

In the United States, for example, one of the first acts of the Biden administration was to introduce comprehensive legislation dealing with ‘transgender rights’. And there is currently legislation before the Victorian state parliament in Australia that makes it a criminal offence for parents to counsel their children against gender reassignment.

Three key aspects of the Western Australian parents’ situation are particularly noteworthy. First, their fate is possible only in a society in which the family has been destroyed as an autonomous institution – a process that has been proceeding apace since the early 20th century. The family was a core institution of bourgeois society in the 19th century – and it operated independently, governed by values very different from those of the marketplace and dominant political ideologies. The historian Christopher Lasch detailed the decline of the bourgeois family in his book ‘Haven in a Heartless World’ – a very apt description of its original role and function.

In the 19th-century family, parents had sole responsibility for the care, education and upbringing of their children, and the law gave them virtually unlimited authority to perform these tasks. With the decline of the traditional family, the state and its ever-expanding army of social workers, health professionals and counsellors have now taken over the functions formerly performed by parents, and parental authority has, in effect, been abolished. This is precisely the situation the Western Australian parents find themselves in. Not only have they been denied the right to care for and protect their daughter – as they see it, and according to their personal values – but their child has been taken away from them by the state.

Second, as with many other formerly autonomous institutions – universities, the courts, churches and cultural institutions – the family and children have been dragged into the realm of the marketplace, where they are compelled to comply with the political ideologies of the globalised elites that now govern most Western societies. This process – mistakenly described by conservative intellectuals as ‘the culture wars’ and mischaracterised by them as a left-wing phenomenon – has intensified over the past 40 years to a degree that it is now probably irreversible.

So, why have the parents in Western Australia been branded as “abusive and neglectful”? Because they had the audacity to challenge a fashionable, state-sponsored dominant ideology: that of so-called ‘transgender rights’. And for this transgression they have suffered the obligatory punishment meted out to those who act in such a manner: they have been parentally ‘cancelled’.

The third aspect of what has occurred is perhaps the most troubling. It would be bad enough if the fashionable ideology under which these parents have been persecuted was reasonable and rational. But it is not – it is patently unreasonable and frankly irrational. The fact is that most of the ideologies of the globalised elites – including catastrophic climate change, critical race theory and #MeToo feminism – are inherently irrational. They are nothing more than self-indulgent forms of moral posturing that are intrinsically incapable of solving the problems that they purport to cure. (If anyone doubts that proposition, they should ask themselves whether critical race theory has improved race relations in America recently, or whether #MeToo feminism has improved relations between the sexes).

These ideologies developed progressively and ever more irrationally from the late 1960s onwards in order to protect a Western globalised economic order that refused to meaningfully reform itself. Posing falsely as radical doctrines, they are deeply conservative at their core, replacing class and social categories with biological categories according to which privileges and ersatz ‘freedoms’ are handed out to favoured groups, while leaving economic inequalities and real social problems untouched. Progress is defined biologically rather than socially and economically. The irrationality of these doctrines is, of course, intensified by the categorical refusal of their adherents to permit any criticism of them to be made.

It isn’t easy for individuals to challenge state-sanctioned dominant ideologies, even at the best of times – and it is particularly difficult to do so in most Western societies these days. Being ‘cancelled’ is not a pleasant experience. Nevertheless, it is important that such challenges are made – and the parents in Western Australia are to be commended for the courageous stand they have taken against the formidable array of ideological and institutional forces confronting them.
