Official Data Suggests Triple Vaccinated Brits Are Just Weeks Away from Developing Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS)

bY THE EXPOSÉ

Official data published by the UK Health Security Agency is beginning to look terrible for those who have succumbed to three doses of the Covid-19 vaccine, with statistics showing the triple vaccinated are now up to three times more likely to be infected with Covid-19 than the unvaccinated population.

But a look back at previous statistics shows that this risk is increasing by the week, indicating the Covid-19 injections are damaging the natural immune system, and an analysis of the official UKHSA data strongly suggests most of the triple vaccinated population are just weeks away from developing full blown Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS).

The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) publishes a weekly Covid-19 Vaccine Surveillance Report that contains figures on Covid-19 cases, hospitalisations and deaths by vaccination status.

In their Week 3 – 2022 Report, the UKHSA changed tack and only included Covid-19 case/hospitalisation/death rates per 100k among the triple vaccinated population, after previously including the rates for both the double and triple vaccinated.

As we recently revealed this is clearly because the rates are showing that the double vaccinated are more likely to be infected, more likely to be hospitalised, and more likely to die of Covid-19 than the unvaccinated population, indicating Vaccine-Associated Enhanced Disease or Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome.

However, it has only taken a matter of weeks for the rates among the triple vaccinated to increase drastically compared to the rates among the triple vaccinated population, and analysis shows the triple vaccinated may now develop full blown Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome as soon as March 13th 2022.

The following chart shows the Covid-19 case-rates per 100k population among the triple vaccinated and not-vaccinated in England between 26th Dec 21 and 16th Jan 22. The data has been extracted from Table 12 found on page 38 of the UKHSA Vaccine Surveillance Report – Week 3 – 2022.

Source Data

Between 26th Dec 21 and 16th Jan 22, it was only triple vaccinated people between the age of 18 and 29 who had a lower case-rate per 100k than the not vaccinated population. However, this would soon change by the end of January 2022.

The following chart shows the Covid-19 case-rates per 100k population among the triple vaccinated and not-vaccinated in England between 9th Jan 22 and 30th Jan 22 The data has been extracted from Table 13 found on page 47 of the UKHSA Vaccine Surveillance Report – Week 5 – 2022.

Source Data

The Covid-19 case-rate per 100k was highest among every age group in the triple vaccinated population between 9th Jan and 30th Jan 22. But unfortunately, by the time 13th Feb rolled around the gap between the triple vaccinated and unvaccinated had grown even bigger.

The following chart shows the Covid-19 case-rates per 100k population among the triple vaccinated and not-vaccinated in England between 23rd Jan 22 and 13th Feb 22. The data has been extracted from Table 13 found on page 44 of the UKHSA Vaccine Surveillance Report – Week 7 – 2022.

Source Data

By the middle of February 2022, things were looking terrible for anyone who was triple vaccinated and between the age of 18 and 59, but things weren’t much better for anyone triple vaccinated and between the age of 60 and 80+.

The following chart shows the average Covid-19 case rate among all adults by vaccination status between 26th Dec 21 and 13th Feb 22.

This chart displays beautifully how things have dramatically improved for the unvaccinated over the past 2 months, and how things have drastically got worse for the triple vaccinated over the past two months. The case-rate per 100k has fallen drastically in the week 3, week 5 and week 7 UKHSA Vaccine Surveillance Reports, with the largest decrease occurring between week 5 and week 7.

But the case-rate per 100k increased drastically between week 3 and week 5. It did however fall between week 5 and week 7, but unfortunately for the triple vaccinated the fall was nowehere near the drastic fall seen in the unvaccinated population.

Now that we know the case rates per 100k, we can use Pfizer’s vaccine effectiveness formula to calculate the real world effectiveness of the Covid-19 injections after three doses in England.

Unvaccinated Case Rate – Vaccinated Case Rate / Unvaccinated Case Rate x 100

The following chart shows the real world vaccine effectiveness after three doses by age group in England between 26th Dec 21 and 13th Feb 22 –

The only time vaccine effectiveness was shown to be positive among the triple vaccinated was between 26th Dec 21 and 16th Jan 22 among the 18-29 age group. But even then that positive effectiveness only equated to 10.19%. During the same period every other age group was showing a negative vaccine effectiveness, with the lowest recorded among the 60-69 age group at minus-104.69%.

However, between 9th Jan and 30th Jan 22, things shifted and the lowest recorded vaccine effectiveness was among the 40-49 age group at minus-120.28%. The +10.19% positive effectiveness in the 18-29 age group also fell to minus-29.8%.

But things took an even larger turn for the worse between 23rd Jan and 13th Feb 22 with the lowest vaccine effectiveness reaching minus-206.05% among the 40-49 age group, and the vaccine effectiveness fell to minus-120.36% among the 18-29 age group, after being +10.19% just weeks earlier.

However, vaccine effectiveness isn’t really a measure of a vaccine, it is a measure of a vaccine recipients immune system performance compared to the immune system performance of an unvaccinated person.

Vaccines allegedly help develop immunity by imitating an infection. Once the imitation infection induced by the vaccine goes away, the body is left with a supply of “memory” t-cells and antibodies that will remember how to fight that disease in the future.

So, when the authorities state that the effectiveness of the vaccines weaken over time, what they really mean is that the performance of your immune system weakens over time.

Therefore, in regards to the Covid-19 injections –

  • A vaccine effectiveness of +50% would mean that the fully vaccinated are 50% more protected against Covid-19 than the unvaccinated. In other words the fully vaccinated have an immune system that is 50% better at tackling Covid-19.
  • A vaccine effectiveness of 0% would mean that the fully vaccinated are no more protected against Covid-19 than the unvaccinated, meaning the vaccines are ineffective. In other words the fully vaccinated have an immune system that is equal to that of the unvaccinated at tackling Covid-19.
  • But a vaccine effectiveness of -50% would mean that the unvaccinated were 50% more protected against Covid-19 than the fully vaccinated. In other words the immune system performance of the vaccinated is 50% worse than the natural immune system performance of the unvaccinated. Therefore, the Covid-19 vaccines have damaged the immune system.

But to work out immune system performance we have to alter the calculation used to work out vaccine effectiveness slightly and divide our answer by either the largest of the vaccinated or unvaccinated case rate.

Unvaccinated case rate – Vaccinated case rate / largest of the unvaccinated / vaccinated case rate = Immune System Performance

The following chart shows the immune system performance of the triple vaccinated population in England between 26th Dec 21 and 13th Feb 22 –

The lowest immune system performance is among the 40-49 year olds at minus-67.33%, whilst the highest immune system performance is among 80+ at minus-34.41%.

If immune system performance was to hit minus-100% then this would be indicative of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome, but as it stands the majority of the triple vaccinated population are down to the last 35-40% of their immune system capability that protects them against viruses, bacteria and certain cancers.

But, as we show in the following chart, it is not going to take long for the majority of the triple vaccinated to surpass the minus-100% barrier and develop full blown Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome, with current projections showing this could occur as soon as March 13th.

Projections show that everyone between the age of 18 and 39 who has had three doses of a Covid-19 vaccine could surpass the minus-100% barrier indicating AIDS by the end of February 2022, whilst everyone between the age of 40 and 59, and 70 and 79 could have surpassed the minus-100% barrier indicating AIDS by 13th March 22.

The only age groups who are projected to have not yet developed AIDS by the 13th march are the 80+ and 60-69 year-olds. But projections show 60-69-year-olds will still be just a couple of weeks away from having developed AIDS, whilst the 80+ will perhaps have to wait until the middle of April.

The figures for the 80+ could be slightly skewed however, due to this age group suffering the most deaths due to statistically being more likely to die. This would therefore skew the population size and therefore skew the data.

AIDS (acquired immune deficiency syndrome) is the name used to describe a number of potentially life-threatening infections and illnesses that happen when your immune system has been severely damaged.

People with acquired immune deficiency syndrome are at an increased risk for developing certain cancers and for infections that usually occur only in individuals with a weak immune system.

Unfortunately, UKHSA data shows that triple vaccinated Brits are just weeks away from developing Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome, (AIDS) or a novel condition with similar attributes that can only be described as Covid-19 Vaccine Induced Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (VAIDS).

The Crisis in Ukraine Is Not About Ukraine. It’s About Germany

by Mike Whitney via unz.com

“The primordial interest of the United States, over which for centuries we have fought wars– the First, the Second and Cold Wars– has been the relationship between Germany and Russia, because united there, they’re the only force that could threaten us. And to make sure that that doesn’t happen.” George Friedman, STRATFOR CEO at The Chicago Council on Foreign Affairs

The Ukrainian crisis has nothing to do with Ukraine. It’s about Germany and, in particular, a pipeline that connects Germany to Russia called Nord Stream 2. Washington sees the pipeline as a threat to its primacy in Europe and has tried to sabotage the project at every turn. Even so, Nord Stream has pushed ahead and is now fully-operational and ready-to-go. Once German regulators provide the final certification, the gas deliveries will begin. German homeowners and businesses will have a reliable source of clean and inexpensive energy while Russia will see a significant boost to their gas revenues. It’s a win-win situation for both parties.

The US Foreign Policy establishment is not happy about these developments. They don’t want Germany to become more dependent on Russian gas because commerce builds trust and trust leads to the expansion of trade. As relations grow warmer, more trade barriers are lifted, regulations are eased, travel and tourism increase, and a new security architecture evolves. In a world where Germany and Russia are friends and trading partners, there is no need for US military bases, no need for expensive US-made weapons and missile systems, and no need for NATO. There’s also no need to transact energy deals in US Dollars or to stockpile US Treasuries to balance accounts. Transactions between business partners can be conducted in their own currencies which is bound to precipitate a sharp decline in the value of the dollar and a dramatic shift in economic power. This is why the Biden administration opposes Nord Stream. It’s not just a pipeline, it’s a window into the future; a future in which Europe and Asia are drawn closer together into a massive free trade zone that increases their mutual power and prosperity while leaving the US on the outside looking in. Warmer relations between Germany and Russia signal an end to the “unipolar” world order the US has overseen for the last 75 years. A German-Russo alliance threatens to hasten the decline of the Superpower that is presently inching closer to the abyss. This is why Washington is determined to do everything it can to sabotage Nord Stream and keep Germany within its orbit. It’s a matter of survival.

That’s where Ukraine comes into the picture. Ukraine is Washington’s ‘weapon of choice’ for torpedoing Nord Stream and putting a wedge between Germany and Russia. The strategy is taken from page one of the US Foreign Policy Handbook under the rubric: Divide and Rule. Washington needs to create the perception that Russia poses a security threat to Europe. That’s the goal. They need to show that Putin is a bloodthirsty aggressor with a hair-trigger temper who cannot be trusted. To that end, the media has been given the assignment of reiterating over and over again, “Russia is planning to invade Ukraine.” What’s left unsaid is that Russia has not invaded any country since the dissolution of the Soviet Union, and that the US has invaded or toppled regimes in more than 50 countries in the same period of time, and that the US maintains over 800 military bases in countries around the world. None of this is reported by the media, instead the focus is on “evil Putin” who has amassed an estimated 100,000 troops along the Ukrainian border threatening to plunge all of Europe into another bloody war.

All of the hysterical war propaganda is created with the intention of manufacturing a crisis that can be used to isolate, demonize and, ultimately, splinter Russia into smaller units. The real target, however, is not Russia, but Germany. Check out this excerpt from an article by Michael Hudson at The Unz Review:

“The only way left for U.S. diplomats to block European purchases is to goad Russia into a military response and then claim that avenging this response outweighs any purely national economic interest. As hawkish Under-Secretary of State for Political Affairs, Victoria Nuland, explained in a State Department press briefing on January 27: “If Russia invades Ukraine one way or another Nord Stream 2 will not move forward.” (“America’s Real Adversaries Are Its European and Other Allies”, The Unz Review)

There it is in black and white. The Biden team wants to “goad Russia into a military response” in order to sabotage NordStream. That implies there will be some kind of provocation designed to induce Putin to send his troops across the border to defend the ethnic Russians in the eastern part of the country. If Putin takes the bait, the response would be swift and harsh. The media will excoriate the action as a threat to all of Europe while leaders around the world will denounce Putin as the “new Hitler”. This is Washington’s strategy in a nutshell, and the whole production is being orchestrated with one goal in mind; to make it politically impossible for the German Chancellor Olaf Scholz to wave NordStream through the final approval process.

Given what we know about Washington’s opposition to Nord Stream, readers may wonder why earlier in the year the Biden administration lobbied Congress NOT to impose more sanctions on the project. The answer to that question is simple: Domestic politics. Germany is currently decommissioning its nuclear power plants and needs natural gas to make up for the energy shortfall. Also, the threat of economic sanctions is a “turn-off” for Germans who see them as a sign of foreign meddling. “Why is the United States interfering in our energy decisions,” asks the average German. “Washington should mind its own business and stay out of ours.” This is precisely the response one would expect from any reasonable person.

Then, there’s this from Al Jazeera:

“Germans in the majority support the project, it is only parts of the elite and media who are against the pipeline

“The more the US talks about sanctioning or criticizes the project, the more it becomes popular in German society,” said Stefan Meister, a Russia and eastern Europe expert at the German Council on Foreign Relations.” (“Nord Stream 2: Why Russia’s pipeline to Europe divides the West”, AlJazeera)

So, public opinion is solidly behind Nord Stream which helps to explain why Washington settled on a new approach. Sanctions are not going to work, so Uncle Sam has flipped to Plan B: Create a big enough external threat that Germany will be forced to block the opening of the pipeline. Frankly, the strategy smacks of desperation, but you have to be impressed by Washington’s perseverance. They might be down by 5 runs in the bottom of the 9th, but they haven’t thrown in the towel just yet. They’re going to give it one last shot and see if they can make some headway.

On Monday, President Biden held his first joint-press conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz at the White House. The ballyhoo surrounding the event was simply unprecedented. Everything was orchestrated to manufacture a “crisis atmosphere” that Biden used to pressure the chancellor in the direction of US policy. Earlier in the week, White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki repeatedly said that a “Russian invasion was imminent.” Her comments were followed by State Department flak Nick Price opining that the Intel agencies had provided him with details of an alleged Russian-backed “false flag” operation they expected to take place in the near future in east Ukraine. Price’s warning was followed on Sunday morningby national security advisor Jake Sullivan claiming that a Russian invasion could happen at any time maybe “even tomorrow.” This was just days after Bloomberg News agency had published its sensational and utterly-false headline that “Russia Invades Ukraine”.

Can you see the pattern here? Can you see how these baseless claims were all used to apply pressure to the unsuspecting German chancellor who seemed oblivious to the campaign that was aimed at him?

As one might expect, the final blow was delivered by the American president himself. During the press conference Biden stated emphatically that,

“If Russia invades … there will no longer [be] a Nord Stream 2.. We will bring an end to it.”

So, now Washington sets policy for Germany???

What insufferable arrogance!

The German chancellor was taken aback by Biden’s comments which clearly were not part of the original script. Even so, Scholz never agreed to cancel Nord Stream and refused to even mention the pipeline by name. If Biden thought he could sandbag the leader of the world’s third biggest economy by cornering him in a public forum, he guessed wrong. Germany remains committed to launching Nord Stream regardless of potential flare-ups in far-flung Ukraine. But that could change at any time. After all, who knows what incitements Washington might be planning in the near future? Who knows how many lives they are prepared to sacrifice in order to put a wedge between Germany and Russia? Who knows what risks Biden is willing to take to slow America’s decline and prevent a new “polycentric” world order from emerging? Anything could happen in the weeks ahead. Anything.

For now, Germany is in the catbird seat. It’s up to Scholz to decide how the matter will be settled. Will he implement the policy that best serves the interests of the German people or will he cave in to Biden’s relentless arm twisting? Will he chart a new course that strengthens new alliances in the bustling Eurasian corridor or will he throw his support behind Washington’s crazed geopolitical ambitions? Will he accept Germany’s pivotal role in a new world order— in which many emerging centers of power share equally in global governance and where the leadership remains unflinchingly committed to multilateralism, peaceful development and security for all– or will he try to prop up the tattered post-War system that has clearly outlived its shelf-life?

One thing is certain; whatever Germany decides is bound to affect us all.

40,000 Deaths Following COVID Shots in Europe

by Brian Shilhavy viaHealth Impact News

The European (EEA and non-EEA countries) database of suspected drug reaction reports is EudraVigilance, verified by the European Medicines Agency (EMA), and they are now reporting 39,997 fatalities, and 3,666,011 injuries following injections of four experimental COVID-19 shots:

From the total of injuries recorded, almost half of them (1,727,226) are serious injuries.

Seriousness provides information on the suspected undesirable effect; it can be classified as ‘serious’ if it corresponds to a medical occurrence that results in death, is life-threatening, requires inpatient hospitalisation, results in another medically important condition, or prolongation of existing hospitalisation, results in persistent or significant disability or incapacity, or is a congenital anomaly/birth defect.”

A Health Impact News subscriber in Europe ran the reports for each of the four COVID-19 shots we are including here. It is a lot of work to tabulate each reaction with injuries and fatalities, since there is no place on the EudraVigilance system we have found that tabulates all the results.

Since we have started publishing this, others from Europe have also calculated the numbers and confirmed the totals.*

Common Prosperity is Different from ‘Welfarism’: Official

Common prosperity is not “lying flat,” and Chinese people must avoid falling into the trap of “welfarism ” raising lazy people, a government official said.

“We must ensure and improve people’s livelihoods on the basis of sustainable economic development and financial resources, and we must not be too ambitious, indulge our appetites or make promises that cannot be fulfilled,” Ha Zengyou, an official of the National Development and Reform Commission, said at a press conference on Thursday.

“To achieve the goal of common prosperity, we must first make the cake bigger and better through joint efforts. Only with everyone’s participation and efforts can we truly ensure that everyone can enjoy it,” Ha said.

So-called “doing within our capabilities” means clearly seeing that there is still a big gap between China and the developed countries, the official said.

At the conference, the government’s plan to develop East China’s Zhejiang Province into a demonstration zone for common prosperity was explained, which China’s central authorities in June of 2021 issued a guideline on it.

By 2025, Zhejiang should achieve solid progress in building the demonstration zone, with its per capita GDP reaching the level of moderately developed economies, while a social structure with a middle-income population as the majority should be phased in, the guideline said.

In 2021, the per capita GDP of Zhejiang Province reached 113,000 yuan ($17,825), and the income of urban and rural residents ranked first among Chinese provincial regions for 21 and 37 years, respectively, according to official data.

As for the targets for 2022, local officials said they will make efforts such as building a high-quality employment and entrepreneurship system, while continuing to optimize the environment for small and medium-sized enterprises’ owners and individual businesses.

College students who want to start businesses can get loans of 100,000-500,000 yuan. If the business fails, the government will compensate them for loans of less than 100,000 yuan, and compensate them for 80 percent of loans above 100,000 yuan, the officials said.

A key government meeting – the annual Central Economic Work Conference – in December mapped out China’s economic priorities in 2022, saying that the country should create and accumulate social wealth continuously, and at the same time avoid polarization.

To realize common prosperity, China should first “make a bigger and better cake” through the joint efforts of the people, and then divide and distribute the cake properly through rational institutional arrangements, the conference then said.

Typical US Scam: Hoaxing Ukraine into Paying for ‘Protection’: Global Times Editorial

The United Nations Security Council held a special meeting on the situation in Ukraine on Thursday, during which US Secretary of State Antony Blinken again quoted intelligence obtained by the US as claiming that Russia was preparing to launch an attack against Ukraine in the coming days. As February 16, previously cited as the invasion day, became a joke, some US media outlets proposed a new “invasion date” – February 20. It can be assumed that once that day passes, Americans will come up with a new guess. When it comes to a “war,” the US has long launched one against Russia, a hybrid information war.

This time, Russia asked the council to discuss the Minsk agreements, yet the meeting was deviated by the US from the original theme with the hype of the “war.” As a result, the real problem remains unresolved. The longer Russia and Ukraine are in a state of high tension, the more likely an eruption of that tension will be. From this perspective, the risk of an outbreak of war between the two exists and is constantly on the rise.

Blinken argued that the US shared the intelligence to prevent a war, rather than to start one. But the fact is quite the contrary. The fire was lit by the US, and the US has been stoking the fire. After the fire grows, the US made no attempt to end it, but jumped aside, accusing Russia of being the arsonist.

Looking back at the constant escalation of the Russia-Ukraine crisis, it is not hard to find out that almost all the information that pushed up the tension on their border came from “estimates from US intelligent agencies.” And an absurd situation emerged in describing the crisis: Russia and Ukraine were denying fake news, but Washington, on the other side of the globe, was beating the drum and blowing the trumpet. The US used its powerful public opinion propaganda machine to cover the sound of the parties directly concerned, deliberately ignoring Ukraine’s concerns, and forcibly speaking on behalf of Kiev.

People have every reason to suspect that Washington has produced so much “intelligence” just to boost NATO’s power in Eastern Europe and seek to pave the way to satisfy its own unbridled strategic greed.

If Washington really wants to cool down the situation, it can just stop leading the NATO in hyping the tension eastward. But after all its efforts, the US did not weaken Russia as it wished. Instead, Ukraine, which the US claimed to “protect,” has become the biggest victim: In fear of the outbreak of a war, panic has arisen in Ukraine and wealthy businessmen and officials have started to flee. Violent conflicts in eastern Ukraine have escalated, and the situation at the border is more volatile. But Washington doesn’t care about Ukraine’s stability or interests. What it wants is anxiety and chaos in Kiev.

The US has been very used to playing the tactics of fighting a public opinion and information war, and it is good at making conceptual shifts and reversing cause and effect. It frequently plays the trick of a thief crying “Stop thief!” From the Vietnam War to the Iraq War, then to the Syria War, US intelligence agencies have always been the invisible hand behind US hegemony, and the stories of its dark history are countless. They try to deceive the world with typical telemarketing scam tricks – concocting a scene, misleading the “victims” into making wrong judgments, and then asking them to pay for “protection.” Washington has long been familiar with weaponizing fake news for its own political gain.

In recent years, Washington has become more obsessed with using false information for political gain. In order to shirk its responsibility, the US has let intelligence agencies be “in charge” of COVID-19 origins tracing. To smear other countries, the US has continued to fabricate lies under the guise of “human rights.” To maintain its hegemony, the US has suppressed enterprises of other countries with various unwarranted reasons. However, as fake news grows, the anti-intellectualism it fosters has also backfired. Under the title of the world’s No.1 disinformation country, US society has also become a victim of Washington’s disinformation, and its domestic chaos and diplomatic hysteria are two sides of the same coin.

This reminds people of a famous saying: “You can fool all the people some of the time and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time.” Just let Washington politicians make up lies, and they will find out that by stubbornly digging holes for other countries, it is the US’ own foundation that will eventually loosen.

Public Health Scotland Will NO Longer Publish Covid-19 Data Because It Shows the Fully Vaccinated Are Developing AIDS

by THE EXPOSÉ

Public Health Scotland will stop publishing data on Covid deaths and hospitalisations by vaccination status going forward because the data has shown for the past few weeks that the fully vaccinated population are developing AIDS.

Source

On the 26th Jan 22, The Expose exclusively told you how Public Health Scotland data showed fully vaccinated individuals were up to 4 times more likely to die of Covid-19 than unvaccinated individuals.

The very next week, Public Health Scotland added a whole section on alleged vaccine effectiveness in their report as well as notes in red text stating the data should not be used to measure vaccine effectiveness.

Source

This was clearly done in response to our report, and because they could no longer use their own data, as they have done for the past year, to show that the Covid-19 injections are effective.

But now, as we quietly predicted, Public Health Scotland have gone one step further, and have announced in their latest report that they will no longer publish the number of Covid-19 cases, hospitalisations, and deaths by vaccine status.

The reasons they’ve given are laughable, because they felt no need to come up with these tedious excuses when the hospitalisation and death rates were shown to be in the vaccines favour.

But we can reveal that the real reason Public Health Scotland will no longer publish the data, is because it clearly shows that the fully vaccination population are developing Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome.

One of the main reasons given by Public Health Scotland that their data is now unreliable, is because “vaccine effectiveness wanes over time”. But this is a lie, because vaccine effectiveness doesn’t wane. Immune System Performance does.

Source

Vaccine effectiveness isn’t really a measure of a vaccine, it is a measure of a vaccine recipients immune system performance compared to the immune system performance of an unvaccinated person.

In regards to the Covid-19 injections –

With that being said it should come as no surprise to anyone as to why Public Health Scotland no longer wish to publish the Covid-19 data by vaccination status, because it clearly shows in all areas that the Covid-19 injections are proving to have a negative vaccine effectiveness, and therefore a negative immune system performance, which implies the fully vaccinated are developing Covid-19 vaccine induced Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (VAIDS).

In table 13 of the latest Covid-19 Statistical Report published Wednesday 16th Feb 22, PHS provide the number of Covid-19 cases by vaccination status.

The table, found on page 37, shows that the triple vaccinated accounted for the majority of Covid-19 cases between 15th Jan and 11th Feb, recording 13,833 cases in the week beginning 5th Feb alone. This compares to 5,201 cases among the double vaccinated, and 3,834 cases among the unvaccinated during the same week.

But the table also shows us the Covid-19 case rates per 100k population by vaccination status. We’ve extracted the data to produce the following chart –

Source Data

As you can see, Covid-19 case-rates have remained highest among the double vaccinated over the past four weeks. But something peculiar has also happened. The case rates among the not-vaccinated have declines week on week, but the case rates among the triple vaccinated have increased week on week, now almost matching the case rate among the double vaccinated by the week ending 11th Feb.

Now that we know the case-rates, we can use Pfizer’s vaccine effectiveness formula to work out the real-world vaccine effectiveness, which don’t forget is really a measure of the immune system performance.

Unvaccinated case rate – Vaccinated case rate / Unvaccinated case rate = Immune System Performance

The following chart shows the real world immune system performance among teh double vaccinated and triple vaccinated population in Scotland between 15th Jan and 11th Feb 22 –

If the immune system performance was to hit the minus-100% barrier then this would suggest full blown Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome. But unfortunately for both the double/triple vaccinated population they are well on their way to hitting the AIDS barrier.

As of the week ending 11th Feb 22, the immune system performance of the double vaccinated has reached minus-60.4%, whilst the immune system performance of the triple vaccinated has reached minus-55%.

This means the double vaccinated are down to the last 39.6% of their immune system to protect them against fighting viruses, bacteria, and cancers. Whilst the triple vaccinated are down to the last 45%.

However, it’s clear from the graph above that the decline in immune system performance has been much steeper among the triple vaccinated over the previous four weeks compared to the decline among the double vaccinated. This therefore suggests that every vaccination worsens the immune system degradation, and could mean the triple vaccinated surpass the AIDS barrier weeks before the double vaccinated do.

We can also see the fully vaccinated are showing a negative immune system performance against both hospitalisation and death.

Table 14 of the PHS Covid-19 Statistical Report can be found on page 41, and it contains the number of hospitalisations by vaccination status as well as the hospitalisation rates per 100k.

The following chart shows the hospitalisation rates by vaccination status among the unvaccinated and fully vaccinated population –

Source Data

This translates into an immune system performance which is as follows –

Table 15 of the PHS Covid-19 Statistical Report can be found on page 47, and it contains the number of deaths by vaccination status as well as the death rates per 100k.

The following chart shows the death rates by vaccination status among the unvaccinated and fully vaccinated population –

Source Data

This translates into an immune system performance which is as follows –

The lowest immune system performance against hospitalisation was recored in the week ending 11th Feb, hitting minus-81%. Whilst the lowest immune system performance against death was recorded in the week ending 21st Jan, hitting minus-116.48%, meaning the fully vaccinated passed the AIDS barrier.

However, because these figures are age standardised they are subject to fluctuations, which is why UKHSA data for England which breaks down the data by age groups, and also shows a negative immune system performance for hospitalisation and death, is a much better method of measuring the immune system performance.

But what this data from PHS does clearly show is that the fully vaccinated are more likely to be hospitalised with Covid-19, and more likely to die of Covid-19 than the unvaccinated population.

Public Health Scotland data clearly shows that the fully vaccinated are developing Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome, and this is precisely why Public Health Scotland have made the decision to no longer publish the data going forward.

We Are Not Useful Idiots!

Authored by David Stockman via Contra Corner blog,

Honest injun. We’re not useful idiots here at Contra Corner!

We do think, however, that the entire Ukrainian crisis is a Washington-confected con job. And we came to that conclusion without relying on a single scrap of information peddled by Russki propagandists appearing on Strategic Culture Foundation or Zero Hedge.

Actually, we thought it up all by our lonesome! Well, we’ll grant we did have a fair amount of help from Google, which insofar as we know works for the CIA, not the Russian SVR (foreign intelligence service).

In any event, at the very center of the crisis is the Washington claim that the rule of law and the sanctity of sovereign borders are on the line in Ukraine and that, therefore, Russia must not be allowed to encroach a single inch into sacrosanct Ukrainian territory.

That is to say, it is not a matter of America’s national security interest in the precise Ukrainian geography, which happens to lie cheek-by-jowl on Russia’s border, but the very governance of the entire planet: Conform to the “rule of law” as articulated by Washington or get sanctioned, outlawed, pariah-ed, and even invaded, if worst comes to worst.

We hear this refrain repeatedly from Secy Blinkey and national security advisor Snake Sullivan. But we find ourselves doubled over with laughter each time, knowing practically by heart the list of coups, regime change plots, invasions and occupations Washington has foisted upon other sovereign nations over the last 70 years.

For want of doubt, however, we recently Googled in pursuit of the exact list and came up with a systematic study by a young scholar named Lindsey A. O’Rourke. Here’s her summary conclusion:

Between 1947 and 1989, the United States tried to change other nations’ governments 72 times; That’s a remarkable number. It includes 66 covert operations and six overt ones.

Most covert efforts to replace another country’s government failed.

During the Cold War, for instance, 26 of the United States’ covert operations successfully brought a U.S.-backed government to power; the remaining 40 failed.

I found 16 cases in which Washington sought to influence foreign elections by covertly funding, advising and spreading propaganda for its preferred candidates, often doing so beyond a single election cycle. Of these, the U.S.-backed parties won their elections 75 percent of the time.

My research found that after a nation’s government was toppled, it was less democratic and more likely to suffer civil war, domestic instability and mass killing. At the very least, citizens lost faith in their governments.

And, yes, we did check her resume to make sure she wasn’t a Russian troll, and from the appearance of the thing you’ve got to think, no way.

She got an undergraduate degree from Ohio State, an MA and PhD from the University of Chicago, did post-graduate studies at the Dickey Center for International Understanding at Dartmouth College and a pre-doctoral fellowship at the Institute for Security and Conflict Studies at George Washington University. Since 2014 Ms. O’Rourke has been an associate professor in Boston College’s political science department and in 2018 published a book called “Covert Regime Change: America’s Secret Cold War” at the prestigious Cornell University Press, which is the basis for the above quote.

So either the Russkies have got one hell of a brainwashing operation going on throughout the length and breadth of American academia or professor O’Rourke is actually citing real history, not Putin’s talking points.Besides all that, she doesn’t look like a Russki, either.

Self-evidently, therefore, not all borders are sacrosanct—just the ones Washington designates as inviolable. But even that sweeping qualification leaves you high and dry when it comes to the “borders” of Ukraine.

That’s because the current ones were drawn by Czarist tyrants and communist dictators!

That’s right.

The modern borders of Ukraine were finally fixed—sometimes at gunpoint—by Lenin, Stalin and Khrushchev, respectively—between 1917 and 1991. The resulting corpus then got declared an independent nation in 1991 when the Soviet Union was swept into the dustbin of history.

In fact, even then the resulting borders for the 14 new republics—including Russia, Ukraine and Belarus—were the handiwork of the last gasp of the Soviet Union. On December 26, 1991 it was Declaration 142-Н of the the Supreme Soviet’s upper chamber, the Soviet of the Republics, which recognized the self-governing independence of the former Soviet republics, formally dissolving the Union and seconding the old borders of the Soviet Socialist Republics to the newly christened entities.

Talk about the hurly-burly of history at an inflection point. There are few in all of history that come even close to the sudden, complete and spectacular demise of an empire that occupied the better part of the planet’s landmass and more than 485 million peoples.

Stated differently, is it possible that the spectacular crackup of the old Soviet Union was so tidy or thoughtful as Secy Blinkey would have you believe? That it was so wellfounded that the very global “rule of law” depends upon it preservation?

Surely, the 11th hour “gift” of Crimea to Ukraine by Khrushchev (see below), for instance, might have better been returned to its long-time (171 years) and rightful owner, Russia.

Likewise, given the opportunity the huge Russian speaking population of the eastern Donbas region would have raised the Russian tricolor at the drop of a hat, given even half the chance.

Yet the dubious paternity of Ukraine’s modern borders is barely the tip of the iceberg.

The truth is, if you take the word of Google/CIA for it you can scroll through the last 1,100 years of history and still not find a Ukrainian border that lasted more than a few decades, and certainly no settled nation-state worth expending American blood and treasure upon.

Indeed, according to Google/CIA it all started before 1000 AD with the arrival of the “Rus” — the people whose name got tacked on to Russia. They were originally a nice bunch—Viking warriors, traders and settlers— who raped and ruined their way from the Baltic Sea through the marshes and forests of Eastern Europe down toward the fertile river-lands of what’s now Ukraine.

The first major center of these “Rus” was at Kiev, established in the 9th century. In 988 the original Vladimir, a prince of the Kievan Rus, was baptized by a Byzantine priest in the old Greek colony of Khersonesos on the Crimean coast. That is, Russia got long pants and Christianity in Crimea—the place they allegedly stole back 1,026 years later (2014).

As it happened, Prince Vlad’s conversion marked the advent of Orthodox Christianity among the Rus and remains a moment of great nationalist symbolism for Russians. In fact, Putin invoked the original “Vladimir”in a speech upon Crimea’s reunification with Russia after a 90% referendum vote by the 80% Russian speaking population of Crimea in March 2014.

In any event, successive Mongol invasions beginning in the 13th century supplanted Kiev’s influence, and led eventually to the ejection of the Russians from their Crimean/Ukrainian homeland. At length, most of the “Rus” settlements moved to the north, including Moscow.

In their place, the Turkic descendants of the Mongol Golden Horde formed their own Khanate along the northern rim of the Black Sea in what is designated in the map below as the “Crimean Khanate”. And as we explain below, that became the Turkish territory that Catherine the Great purchased in 1783 as part of the Czarist quest for a warm water port to base its Black Sea Fleet.

Prior to this re-russification of Crimea, of course, the surrounding lands now called Ukraine lay on the margins of competing empires. It was a region of permanent struggle and shifting borders. The Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth—which, at its peak, encompassed a huge swath of Europe—had dominated much of the land. But Ukraine also experienced the incursions of Hungarians, Ottomans, Swedes, bands of Cossacks and the armies of successive Russian czars.

As these meandering borders appeared and disappeared repeatedly through the 17th century, Russia and Poland (Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth) eventually split much of the territory of what’s now Ukraine along the Dnieper River, as shown in the map below. Approximately 355 years ago (1667), to be exact, the areas to the east of the Dnieper, which now include the Donbas, were acquired by Russia and incorporated into the Russian State.

So, yes, the current day rebel provinces in the Donbas, which were giving partial autonomy from Kiev by the Minsk Agreements of 2015, have actually been “Russian” for more than three and one-half centuries and “Ukrainian” for about 31 years. Or as Blinkey would say, because it’s borders.

In any event, the aforementioned Russian advance continued during the subsequent century under the rule of Catherine the Great. Not surprisingly, she imagined her domains along the Black Sea constituted “Novorossiya” or “New Russia”. As also shown in the map above, these Ukrainian lands to the west of the Dnieper were acquired by Moscow between 1772 and 1795 at the time that the various European powers were dismembering Poland, wiping it entirely from the world map for the next 125 years.

No less than Grigoriy Potemkin, the legendary evil genius behind Catherine the Great’s rule, left little doubt that Crimea was to once again become Russian and redound to Moscow’s glory evermore.

“Believe me, you will acquire immortal fame such as no other sovereign of Russia ever had,” said Grigoriy Potemkin, a prominent adviser to Catherine the Great, when offering the empress counsel in 1780 on plans to wrest Crimea away from Ottoman suzerainty.

“This glory will open the way to still further and greater glory.”

Meanwhile, the above mentioned partitions of Poland in the late 18th century (1795) led to the far western city of Lviv—once a major regional hub and a center of Jewish culture in Eastern Europe —being transferred from Russian sovereignty to the AustroHungarian empire. It was there in far west of today’s Ukraine during the mid-19th century where Ukrainian nationalism finally began to take hold, rooted in the traditions and dialects of the region’s peasants and the aspirations of intellectuals who had fled the stifling rule of Russian Czars.

Still, as the 19th century drew to a close there really was no sovereign state of Ukraine. The lands had been divided between the Russian Empire to the east and the Austro-Hungarian Empire to the west. Had America’s ruling class back then wished to police the borders of the world, which they assuredly did not, there would have been no Ukrainian borders to police!

So the mystery question recurs. Who created the modern borders and state of Ukraine, then?

Why, holy moly, it was the aforementioned commies themselves!

Simply take a gander at the Google/CIA/Washington Post map below. Both the Russian Empire and Austro-Hungarian empires collapsed in the bloody trenches of the Great War, and subsequently disappeared from the pages of history. But their brutal successors in Moscow busied themselves in a multi-step evolution that resulted in what today passes for Ukraine.

First, near the end of World War I, the new Bolshevik government was desperate to end hostilities with Germany and its allies and signed a treaty in the town of Brest-Litovsk in 1918 ceding Russia’s domains west of the Dnieper (darker brown area) to the Central powers. That is to say, they agreed to sacrifice what was understood by all to be “Russian” territory in return for surcease from German attack.

Of course, the terms of this desperate 11th hour treaty were nullified by Germany’s defeat later in the year, but the respite from Russian rule did spark the rise of a renewed Ukrainian nationalism like elsewhere in eastern Europe at the end of the Great War. Accordingly, independence movements of various stripes sprung up in cities like Lviv, Kiev and Kharkiv, but were eventually all swept away amid the wider struggle for power in Russia.

That struggle was mightily fueled at the misbegotten Versailles “peace” conference where the long dead nation of Poland was revived by Woodrow Wilson. The latter nearly single-handedly resurrected the nation of Poland, doing so with a keen eye not to the historic maps of Europe but to the polish vote in Cleveland, Detroit and Chicago.

Soon thereafter a revived Poland reclaimed Lviv and a chunk of what’s now western Ukraine on the grounds that this was sacred Polish, not Ukrainian, territory.

In any event, the region became a key battleground of the Russian Civil War, which pitted Bolshevik forces against an array of White Russian armies, led by loyalists to the old czarist regime as well as other political opportunists. After a lot of bloodshed — and other battles with Poland — the Bolsheviks emerged triumphant and officially declared the Ukrainian Socialist Soviet Republic in 1922.

At long last, therefore, the maps of the world now at least had something that roughly resembled modern Ukraine—even if it was wrested by Bolshevik rifles.

As shown in the map below, the tiny principality of Ukraine as of 1654 (dark blue area) had not been much to write home about until the Russians—Czars and Commissars, alike—bestirred themselves with nation-building. Russian nation-building, that is.

The yellow areas being the winnings of Catherine the Great and other Russian Czars over 1654-1917, while the added territories won by Lenin’s Red Army are represented by the purple area of the map below. The latter territory, in fact, even today is far more Russian-speaking than Ukrainian.

Later came the rest of Ukraine proper via added gifts from Stalin’s Red Army (light blue area, 1939-1945) and the previously mentioned gift of Crimea (red area) by Khrushchev in 1954.

In short, it needs be recalled that America’s borders were established by democratic politicians and have stood the test of 167 years of time during which they have been perfectly fixed. By contrast, today’s Ukraine depicted below is the hand-work of tyrants and commies, which changed by the decade.

So the question recurs. Who in their right mind would select the historical mongrel depicted below to bring the world to the brink of nuclear war in order to establish the universal rule of law and sanctity of borders?

Indeed, we’d say it’s only folks who have lost their minds to the TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome). This entire imbroglio, in fact, is not about the nation of Russia, the rule of law, foreign policy or the genuine safety and liberty of the American homeland.

To the contrary, it’s about a single member of the 7 billion-strong human race—the utterly demonized, vilified and reviled Vladimir Putin. The Biden mainstream of the Dem party is still not over the shock of November 2016, and apparently mean to do battle permanently with the ogre of Moscow whom they falsely hold accountable for their own self-inflicted defeat.

As it happens, their endlessly repeated mantra that Putin’s expansionist intentions were revealed when he “seized” Crimea in 2014 tells you all you need to know. That claim is so hypocritical, threadbare and tendentious that only minds possessed with TDS would even dare to peddle it.

That’s because it amounts to saying is that the dead hand of the Soviet presidium must be defended at all costs — as if the security of North Dakota depended upon it!

As previously mentioned, however, the allegedly “occupied” territory of Crimea was actually purchased from the Ottomans by Catherine the Great in 1783, thereby satisfying the longstanding quest of the Russian czars for a warm-water port. Over the ages, Sevastopol then emerged as a great naval base at the strategic tip of the Crimean peninsula, where it became home port to the mighty Black Sea Fleet of the czars and then the Soviet Commissars, too.

For the next 171 years Crimea was an integral part of Russia (until 1954). And that’s a fact that you can look up in the Google/CIA archives!

In fact, that span equals the 170 years that have elapsed since California was annexed by a similar thrust of “Manifest Destiny” on this continent, thereby providing, incidentally, the United States Navy with its own warm-water port in San Diego.

While no foreign forces subsequently invaded the California coasts, it was most definitely not Ukrainian rifles, artillery and blood that famously annihilated The Charge of the Light Brigade at the Crimean city of Balaclava in 1854, either; They were Russians defending the homeland from invading Turks, French and Brits.

At the end of the day, security of its historical port in Crimea is Russia’s Red Line, not Washington’s.

Unlike today’s feather-headed Washington pols, even the enfeebled Franklin Roosevelt at least knew that he was in Soviet “Russia” when he made port in the Crimean city of Yalta in February 1945.

Maneuvering to cement his control of the Kremlin in the intrigue-ridden struggle for succession after Stalin’s death a few years later, Nikita Khrushchev allegedly spent 15 minutes reviewing his “gift” of Crimea to his subalterns in Kiev.

As it happened, therefore, Crimea became part of the Ukraine only by writ of the former Soviet Union:

On April 26, 1954 The decree of the Presidium of the USSR Supreme Soviet transferring the Crimea Oblast from the Russian SFSR to the Ukrainian SSR. Taking into account the integral character of the economy, the territorial proximity and the close economic and cultural ties between the Crimea Province and the Ukrainian SSR…

In fact, the Kiev government’s current Washington-supported brouhaha about “returning” Crimea is a naked case of the hegemonic arrogance that has overtaken Imperial Washington since the 1991 Soviet demise.

After all, during the long decades of the Cold War, the West did nothing to liberate the “captive nation” of Ukraine — with or without the Crimean appendage bestowed upon it in 1954. Nor did it draw any red lines in the mid-1990s when a financially desperate Ukraine rented back Sevastopol and the strategic redoubts of Crimea to an equally pauperized Russia.

In short, in the era before we got our Pacific port in 1848 and even during the 170-year interval since then, America’s national security has depended not one whit on the status of Russian-speaking Crimea and the Donbas region of eastern Ukraine. The fact that the local population of the former in March 2014 chose fealty to the Grand Thief in Moscow over the ruffians and rabble that have seized Kiev amounts to a giant, “So what?”

Still, it was this final aggressive drive of Washington and NATO into the internal affairs of Russia’s historical neighbor and vassal, Ukraine, that largely accounts for the current dangerous showdown. Likewise, it is virtually the entire source of the false claim that Russia has aggressive, expansionist designs on the former Warsaw Pact states in the Baltics, Poland and beyond.

The latter is a nonsensical fabrication.

In fact, it was the neocon meddlers from Washington who crushed Ukraine’s last semblance of democratic governance when they enabled ultra-nationalists and crypto-Nazis to gain government positions after the February 2014 coup, which threw-out Ukraine’s legitimately elected, Russia-leaning president.

In this context, moreover, the history of the 1930s and 1940s must never be forgotten here. Stalin decimated upwards of 15% of the Ukrainian population during the Holodomer (starvations) and then moved huge numbers of Russian-speakers into the Donbas to safeguard its chemical, steel and armaments industries from the defiant locals who were sent to Siberia.

Thereafter, when Hitler’s Wehrmacht came charging through Ukraine on its way to the bloody battle of Stalingrad, it had no trouble recruiting hundreds of thousands of vengeance-seeking Ukrainian nationalists to its ranks to do its dirty work: That is, the brutal liquidation of Jews, Poles, Gypsies and other untermenschen.

In fact, during the fall of 1941 began the mass killings of Jews that continued through 1944. An estimated 1.5 million Ukrainian Jews perished, and over 800,000 were displaced to the east; at Baby Yar in Kyiv nearly 34,000 were killed in just the first two days of massacre—and all of these depredations were assisted and often executed by local Ukrainian nationalists.

Then, of course, the tide turned and the Red Army came marching back though the rubble of Ukraine on its way to Berlin. After their victory over the Germans at the Battle of Stalingrad in early 1943, the Soviets launched an equally brutal scorched earth counteroffensive westward, searching high and low for traitors and collaborators among the Ukrainian population who had allegedly aided the Wehrmacht.

The Germans thus began their slow retreat from Ukraine in mid-1943, leaving wholesale destruction in their wake. In November the Soviets reentered Kyiv, where guerrilla activity intensified amid bloody revenge killings which claimed huge numbers of civilian victims. By the spring of 1944 the Red Army had penetrated into Galicia (western Ukraine), and by the end of October Ukraine was a bloody wasteland, once again under Red Army control.

So it may be fairly asked: What Washington lame brains did not understand that triggering “regime change” in Kiev in February 2014 would reopen this entire bloodsoaked history of sectarian and political strife?

Moreover, once they had opened Pandora’s Box, why was it so hard to see that an outright partition of Ukraine with autonomy for the Donbas and Crimea, or even accession to the Russian state from which these communities had originated, would have been a perfectly reasonable resolution?

Certainly that would have been far preferable to dragging all of Europe into the lunacy of the current military showdown and embroiling the Ukrainian factions in a suicidal civil war.

Then again, it is not now—and never has been—about a foreign policy matter than can be resolved through goodwill, negotiations and a decent regard for the history of a godforsaken patch of real estate that has perennially been a meandering set of borders in search of a nation that no one in the neighborhood really wanted.

Instead, it’s all about a sickness called TDS that has afflicted the Dem ruling elites, and much of official Washington, too. And that can be cured only by the American electorate, which is exactly what we expect in November, next.

And not a day too soon.

Here’s What Russia Told US and NATO After its Proposals Were Rejected

Moscow addressed the situation in Ukraine, US nuclear weapons in Europe, NATO violating treaties, and the law-based way forward

Russia may respond with “military and technical measures” to ensure its own security after the US and NATO ignored key points from its proposal for a long-term European security architecture, and instead cherry-picked issues from a package deal, Moscow said on Thursday.

The overall sentiment of the 10-page document, published by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) on Thursday, was that the US and its allies refused to even address Russia’s “red lines” and key security interests. The MFA also addressed specific issues such as Ukraine, Crimea, US troop presence and weapons build-up along Russian borders, as well as arms control. Here are the key takeaways.

Russia has no plans to invade Ukraine, Moscow says
Moscow insists that there is no “Russian invasion” of Ukraine, nor are there any plans for one. Accusations by the US and its allies about Russian responsibility for the “escalation” in Ukraine can only be seen as an attempt to pressure Moscow and dismiss Russian proposals for security guarantees, the document argues, calling the conflict in Ukraine “entirely internal in character.”

Moscow argues the conflict can only be resolved through the implementation of the Minsk Agreements and the measures envisioned therein. The UN Security Council Resolution 2022 names Kiev and the regions of Donetsk and Lugansk as the parties concerned, while Russia is a mediator alongside France and Germany, in the so-called Normandy Format. To de-escalate the situation in Ukraine, the MFA says, the West needs to compel Kiev to implement the measures agreed in Minsk, stop sending weapons to Ukraine, withdraw all of its advisers and instructors, stop NATO exercises with Ukraine’s military, and pull all foreign weapons previously delivered to Kiev from Ukrainian territory.

Moscow says Crimea case ‘closed’

Russia did not “occupy” Ukrainian territory in 2014, the MFA insisted, arguing that “the loss of territorial integrity by the Ukrainian government is the result of internal processes in that country,” and, specifically, pointing to the coup d’etat backed by the US and its allies, “whose perpetrators embarked on building a nationalist state infringing on the rights of ethnic Russians and Russian-speaking people, as well as other nationalities.”

In those circumstances, Moscow says, the region of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol held a referendum to rejoin Russia, in line with the UN-guaranteed right of self-determination. “No force or coercion was applied. The question of where Crimea belongs is closed,” the MFA said. Ukraine still considers the peninsula to be part of its territory and its state policy is to “reintegrate” it by any means, including force. The US and NATO likewise do not recognize Crimea rejoining Russia, calling it an illegal “annexation.”

US must withdraw from Russian borders, Moscow insists

Russia has “no forces on the territory of Ukraine,” the MFA said in the document, adding that the deployments of troops within Russia’s own territory “do not and cannot concern the fundamental interests of the United States.” By contrast, Russia said, the US and its NATO allies have expanded their military infrastructure eastward, violating both the 1990 Treaty on Conventional Forces in Europe (CFE) and the 1997 Founding Act on Mutual Relations, Cooperation and Security between Russia and NATO. Moscow insists on the withdrawal “of all US armed forces and weapons deployed in Central and Eastern Europe, Southeastern Europe, and the Baltics.”

Russia says NATO’s ‘open doors’ policy violates security

While the US remains committed to NATO’s policy of “open doors” – not ruling out admission of any country that applies to the alliance – Moscow noted that this violates the commitments NATO made in June 1991, to not endanger legitimate interests of other states or create new lines of division in Europe.

It also clashes with the principle of indivisibility of security which the US committed to under the treaties that established the Organization for European Security Cooperation (OSCE), namely to “not to enhance their security at the expense of the security of others,” in Russia’s view. “We call on the US and NATO to return to their international obligations in the sphere of supporting peace and security,” the MFA said. “We expect from the alliance specific proposals on the form and content of legal guarantees that NATO will not expand further to the east.”

Moscow wants indivisible security for all, not just NATO

Washington needs to demonstrate it actually believes in the principle of indivisible security, Moscow argued, accusing the US of refusing to give up its “counterproductive and destabilizing course” of seeking advantages for itself and its allies at the expense of Russian security interests, while threatening Russia’s borders. In Moscow’s view, the right of countries to “freely choose or change their security arrangements, including entering alliances,” which the US cites, is not absolute, but is only half the formula contained in existing European security treaties. The document points out that Washington keeps omitting the second half, about not enhancing one’s own security at the expense of others.

Russia wants NATO to stop putting nukes in Europe

There was no answer to the Russian proposal to stop deploying nuclear weapons outside one’s own territory – something the US has repeatedly done with NATO allies, in violation of the nuclear non-proliferation treaty (NPT), the MFA said. Such weapons are currently deployed in the territory of several NATO members and are capable of targeting Russia.

Moscow insists they must be withdrawn, the infrastructure for quickly redeploying them to Europe dismantled, and NATO must stop training non-nuclear members in the handling of such weapons. “Without the removal of this irritant, discussion on the topic of non-strategic nuclear weapons is impossible,” Russia said.

Violation of ‘red lines’ may lead to ‘military-technical’ response – Moscow

The US and NATO are increasing their military activity on Russia’s borders while ignoring Moscow’s “red lines” and fundamental security interests, the MFA said, describing the situation as a “cause for alarm.” Russia described ultimatums and threats of sanctions as “unacceptable” and said they undermine the chances of reaching actual diplomatic agreements. Since the US is not prepared to discuss firm and legally binding guarantees of Russian security, Moscow will be forced to respond, including “through the implementation of measures of a military-technical nature,” the MFA said.

The Reason the US Wants War in Ukraine is Ultimately All About the Dollar

by Thomas J. Penn (excerpt)

Editor’s Note: It started with Saddam Hussein, who declared, shortly before 2003, that Iraq would be selling its oil only for euros or gold. He paid for that defiance with his life and Iraq lost its sovereignty. Next was Gaddafi, who announced the same in 2010; furthermore, he was actively working to set up a pan-African currency backed by gold. He was gone on short notice. Iran is still on an On-again Off-again footing with accepting/not accepting dollars for its oil; and so is the rhetoric of war and sanctions against Iran. It is now the mighty Russia and China who are putting their weight together to leverage it against the dollar. Hence the despair of the sore loser hegemon.

Why is the US-led West trying to instigate a crisis in Ukraine? Those who understand how Washington derives its real power know why – it’s all about money

For months now we’ve been hearing Washington ring alarm bells regarding what they have cited as an “imminent Russian invasion of Ukraine.” According to the latest so-called US “intelligence,” a full-scale invasion would take place this week. Yet, as some of us have for months insisted would be the case, no invasion has transpired, nor, I believe, is one likely.

Moscow, which has announced that its troops are pulling back from Russia’s border with Ukraine, has consistently denied that it has any intention of invading. But Washington, with its repeated accusations regarding an imminent false-flag incident, to its stationing of troops in Eastern Europe, has appeared desperate to goad Russia into making such a move. The more Russia’s President Vladimir Putin refuses to take the bait, the greater the despair in Washington.

Why is Washington – and by extension NATO and the EU – so obsessed with Ukraine? What is it that they hope to achieve? Once one understands the mechanism by which Washington derives its real power, its actions in relation to Russia become easier to understand.

Let’s put aside all the bluster Washington spews regarding human rights, democracy and sovereignty, because these are just issues which it uses as cover and which it routinely disregards itself in order to achieve its aims. What is it that Washington really wants?

It wants to conflate and stoke the Ukraine issue in order to contain Russia. Why does it want to contain Russia? Well, Washington derives its global power through its control of the US dollar, also known as the world’s reserve currency. This special status enables Washington to amass obscene deficits that do not in any way reflect America’s true productive capacity.

The US dollar has been utterly dominant as the currency used for international trade since it replaced sterling in the 1920s. Commodities such as oil, gold, base metals and agricultural products are priced in, and paid for, in dollars. This created large worldwide demand for the greenback, adding massive value to its worth, and created strong demand for US Treasuries. All this enables the American federal government to print dollars by the trillions, borrow without limit, and spend with abandon.

The dominance of the dollar has afforded America great global power, but it is now under threat as never before as Russia, China and others economically challenge the US. Many are now seeking to ditch their dependence on the dollar as Washington has continued to abuse it’s status as issuer of the world’s reserve currency over the decades.

Russia and China have, in particular, drastically cut their use of the dollar. In 2015, around 90% of their bilateral transactions were conducted in dollars. But since the start of the US-China trade war, that’s fallen to 46% and is rapidly declining further. Even US allies and partners, like Turkey and India, have begun trading in their respective national currencies when it suits them. Countries are questioning why US financial institutions should serve as the intermediaries for international banking.

Beijing is actively encouraging the use of its currency, the renminbi, in trade transactions, especially under its massive Belt and Road Initiative. With China recovering more strongly than the other big economies from Covid-19, foreign capital has been flooding in, too, as Beijing opens its financial markets.

Alexey Maslov, director of the Institute of Far Eastern Studies at the Russian Academy of Sciences, has told The Nikkei Asian Review that the Russia-China “dedollarization” was approaching a “breakthrough moment” that could elevate their relationship to a de-facto alliance.

This alliance, and its threat to the supremacy of the dollar, deeply worries Washington. “The current dollar-centric system cannot continue forever,” says Barry Eichengreen, Professor of Economics and Political Science, University of California, Berkeley. “A multipolar international monetary and financial system is coming, as the United States accounts for a declining share of the global economy.”

Goldman Sachs strategists have predicted that there are now “real concerns around the longevity of the US dollar as a reserve currency,”while billionaire US fund manager Stanley Druckenmiller has warned that the dollar could cease to be the predominant global reserve currency within 15 years.

Ironically, America’s growing use of severe sanctions against countries it doesn’t like, such as China and Russia, has fuelled this trend, as countries seek new ways of financing trade without Washington having the ability to seize their money. “The U.S., by continuously using sanctions, is beginning to cut off its nose to spite its face,” Anuradha Chenoy, formerly the dean of Jawaharlal Nehru University’s School of International Studies in New Delhi, has said.

Any nation that does not abide by Washington’s edicts and refuses to play the dollar game is met with a color revolution, a coup, a false flag or brute military force. Washington knows that if more and more of those dollars held in foreign reserves become superfluous, they will make their way back to the US to compound inflationary pressures there. This is the main reason, for example, why Washington is so vehemently against the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline: because the Russians and the Germans together will determine the pricing mechanism, not Washington.

The nations of the world should have the sovereign right to choose which currency they choose to trade in and not be forced, at the barrel of a US gun, to use the US dollar.

This is the real reason Washington is hell-bent on drawing Russian forces into Ukraine. Washington must attempt, by any means possible, to contain Russia and then to try to force her into subjugation, i.e. full and total acceptance of US dollar hegemony upon her.

But, after decades of abuse, the current dollar-based monetary system is running on fumes. Interest rates have been artificially manipulated to zero, western central banks are monetizing debt via quantitative easing at pace, and consumer prices are skyrocketing as a function of inflating the monetary base.

Washington will continue to do anything required to continue the dollar’s supremacy, including using Ukraine and the Ukrainian people as cannon fodder in its efforts to provoke Russia and force dollar hegemony on her. Washington wants to further isolate Russia from the West by painting her as a violent aggressor. I am confident Vladimir Putin will not be lured in.

China 3 USA 0 – Beijing Inflicts a Severe Economic Defeat on America

by John Ross, senior fellow at Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies, Renmin University of China, and former director of economic and business policy for the mayor of London. He lived in Moscow from 1992-2000.

New figures show that on trade, economic growth and inflation, China’s comprehensively come out on top and US sanctions have failed miserably

The news that US inflation has reached its highest level for 40 years, at 7.5% in January, is the most explicit indicator of serious problems in its economy. The monetary tightening that will be used to attempt to bring this under control will both slow the US economy and inevitably spill over into major effects on the world economy.

This very high inflation is particularly significant when compared to 1.5% inflation in China, its main economic competitor, in the same month. US inflation is five times higher than China’s. These relative inflation levels have extremely restrictive effects on American economic policy – it will be forced to implement measures to slow its economy. In contrast, China, whose economy is already growing faster than the US, has room for a further economic stimulus without damaging inflationary pressures.

But this is only one of the symptoms that the US has suffered in a severe economic defeat in its competition with China. This, in turn, has major political consequences both in the US and internationally.

Analyzing first the domestic US political situation, unsurprisingly this high inflation has led to falling living standards for the overwhelming majority of the population, and has drastically undermined support for Biden’s administration. The latest average opinion polls show 54% of Americans disapprove of the Biden government, compared to only 40% approving.

The economic situation is the main driving force behind Biden’s fall in support. Polls show 68% of Americans consider the economy the most important problem confronting them, almost twice as many as those who cited Covid (37%).

Behind these political problems is the reality that the US has suffered a serious defeat in the economic war it launched against China. In 2018, America began its trade offensive by unilaterally imposing tariffs against Chinese imports. The aim of this was to reduce the US balance of trade deficit and to rebuild its manufacturing industry. But data makes it clear that the US has not achieved either.

In 2017, the last year before the US launched its trade war, its balance of goods trade deficit was $792 billion; by 2021, this had risen to $1.078 billion.

More narrowly regarding China, the US, despite its tariffs, succeeded in only slightly reducing its bilateral goods trade deficit – from $375 billion in 2017 to $355 billion in 2021. Simultaneously, the US deficit in goods trade with the rest of the world ballooned from $417 billion to $723 billion. In short, the US attempt to cut its trade deficit was a complete failure.

Neither did the US succeed in damaging China’s overall trade. Beijing’s trade surplus rose from $420 billion in 2017 to $676 billion in 2021. Last year, China’s exports and imports rose by 30%.

This comprehensive US defeat in the trade war was accompanied by equally great failure in its overall economic performance compared to China. Between 2017 and 2021, the US economy grew by 7.3%, while China’s grew by 25.1% – three times as much as the US. Since the beginning of the Covid pandemic, America’s economic performance relative to China deteriorated further. Naturally both economies slowed due to the pandemic, but since 2019 China’s economy has grown by 10.5% and the US by 2.1% – China has grown five times as much as the US.

There is no mystery regarding the reasons for this US failure. Paradoxically, the world’s supposed “number one capitalist economy” is now actually creating very little capital. Instead, the US has become an economy overwhelmingly dominated by consumption – short-term gratification instead of long-term investment in development. By 2020, the latest available data shows that US net capital creation, after taking depreciation into account, was only 1% of US Gross National Income. This is less than 10% of its level at the height of the US post-war boom in the 1960s. Such a level of investment means that the US is scarcely expanding its capital stock – consequently its economic growth is very slow.

There are rational and well-known technical ways to tackle these problems. But they would require sharp changes in Washington’s foreign and domestic policy.

The huge level of US military expenditure, $905 billion in 2021, higher than the next seven countries combined, could be sharply cut, releasing major resources for investment – but that would require an abandonment of aggressive US foreign policy.

Abandoning trade tariffs against China, which costs every US household hundreds of dollars a year, would reduce inflation – but would require abandoning the aggressive trade war against China.

The grotesquely inefficient US healthcare system, using 19.7% of GDP but creating one of the lowest levels of life expectancy in any advanced economy, could be rationalized, releasing huge resources for investment – but that would require confronting and defeating entrenched special interest groups in the US.

As long as the US is not prepared to undertake such major changes, it will suffer slow growth. Meanwhile, China’s economy will continue to grow much more rapidly. The economic defeat of the US by China in the trade war, and the way it has dealt with the economic consequences of the Covid pandemic, are just the latest expressions of this.

Regrettably, this economic win by China is unlikely to reduce US hostility. Like a cornered tiger, America may become even more aggressive – as shown in its recent policies on Ukraine and Taiwan. There is no point in trying to reason with a tiger and showing any weakness will simply increase its attacks. The only successful policy is to use strength to deter and impose defeats on it. That’s what China has achieved in its ongoing economic victory over the US.
